Property Description

Beach and Ocean front views from living area and lanais wrap around the condo. Even the kitchen has an ocean view! This private oceanfront condo is on the second floor of the building ...about 30 steps along the pathway leads to the gem of south Maui, Keawakapu Beach!

Keawakapu Beach, located on the south shore of Maui, Hawaii, is known for its stunning natural beauty and tranquil atmosphere. This picturesque beach is a favorite spot for locals and return visitors and features soft golden sand, clear waters, and lush greenery surrounding the area. It's a great spot for families to swim, snorkel, and sunbathe, and watch the sun set at the end of the day.

The master bedroom has one King bed and en suite bathroom. The guest bedroom has two twin beds which can be converted to one king bed (upon request and approval). The living room has a queen size sofa sleeper. Highly efficient split AC provided in both bedrooms (no AC in the main living area).

Hale Hui Kai is a beloved location among first time visitors and repeat guests. There is a small shared oceanfront pool next to the common area covered lanai, which is equipped with comfortable lounge space for guests to enjoy when you need a break from the Maui sun. At this beachfront property we provide beach towels, beach chairs, and a beach cooler. We suggest renting beach toys (such as a beach umbrella, snorkel gear, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc) from one of the many rental companies on Maui.

I have stayed in unit 213 several times. I love this unit! Spacious, airy, lots of natural light, sunset from private huge balcony. The kitchen is well stocked - I am not used to having my morning smoothies on vacations and the Ninja blender was a nice treat. Sunset is right in front of the huge balcony. Very comfortable master bed and large bedroom. Cross breeze and fans handle the temp. I used some AC at night which is appreciated. The owner provided service for a situation that not all owners would address. Highly recommend.

good but minor problems. The door lock was defective and did not work properly. It definitely needs to be replaced. Underneath the sink counter was very dirty.

We love the Hale Hui Kai and have stayed there many times. The most recent unit we stayed in was wonderful. The view from the deck was spectacular. The kitchen has everything and more than you need. The bedroom was very quite and sleeping was very comfortable.

First and foremost, the location is unbeatable. However, it did have critters. Mostly, mice and roaches. The unit, itself, was clean; however it had these issues. In addition, there weren’t any screens on the windows and with the slats open, as you need them to be for air flow since there is only AC in the bedrooms, any critter can get in. We ended up staying somewhere else as this issue made everyone uncomfortable!

We really enjoyed our stay in unit 213. The ocean view was wonderful. Sunsets and moonsets visible from our lanai. There is no AC in the main living area, but having it in the bedrooms was sufficient. Would definitely stay here again!
