Although the view was nice, it’s not in the best area if you do not have a car; it’s near a bus stop so you spend most the time getting away from the property. room had random stains on the walls, no bathroom fan or real bathroom door. Very weird layout and the bed was broken. Also they don’t provide hand soap, they did provide wifi and some shampoo and conditioner etc. Also were no help during the tsunami warning. The bed sheets made me and my boyfriend itchy and i found myself over heating in the room a lot.
Nice studio with great ocean view, but need some repair. Raised floor tiles in the kitchen can be traumatic.
We had an amazing view and saw whales from our balcony! We didn’t know there would be painting going on right outside our balcony, so that was a bit of a surprise on our privacy, but other than that it was a great room and we really enjoyed our stay!

We have stayed at the Valley Isle Resort many times but this was the most disappointing one. A few things were broke in the unit, light switch, front door know, screen door, headboard, floor lamp, etc. There were strands of dirt hanging from the ceiling, covered in dust curls over your head in bed at night. Needs a remodel badly.

We always stay at Valley Isle with direct ocean view units. This particular unit has the same beautiful view, easy access to the beach and close to grocery store and other amenities. The unit itself needs some upgrades as the furniture, paint and other items are showing wear and tear which gives the appearance of uncleanliness. We didn’t spend much time inside so it was okay.

The only thing good about this unit is the view. The ceiling had dust hanging all over it. The unit is out dated. The stove is a camping stove. There wasn’t even a whole set of frying pans you had to cook your bacon and then clean the pan and cook your eggs. Two pans wouldn’t fit on the stove anyway. We only had one dish towel, one wine glass no salt and pepper one frying pan pretty much the basic stuff in any condo I’ve ever stayed at. They need to rehab this condo. The resort itself is beautiful and the pool is awesome.

This spot was the perfect location to watch the sunset, easy access to the beach, and had all the amenities we needed! The view from the deck is unmatched! We even spotted a few sea turtles poking out! The Valley Isle resort is well kept and clean!
If you are looking for luxury accommodations then keep on scrolling. But if you are looking for an amazing view with lots of beautiful water and sea turles then this may be the place. We spent five nights at this condo, we enjoyed the pools and the beach. We mostly enjoyed the views. I did a Walmart pickup order when we landed and ordered a brand new fan. We slept with the doors open each night at the screen locked. The lack of AC is bearable as long as you have both doors open. There is a small tv with cable tv. The internet worked good. We used the coin operated washer and dryer on the third floor. (Front desk has change.) We drove all over Maui and saw all that we wanted to see. Ate at all the places in Laihana and Mama’s Fish House. Maui is a magical place and the sunset views at this condo is out of this world. Our first night we had a masseuse set up on the balcony and got massages at sunset. You can knit pick this place or enjoy it for what it is. An affordable studio with amazing views. (I would plan on eating out if you are going to stay here. I am not saying you can not cook here, but I just wouldn’t) Fun fact, there is a vegetable garden by the pool and we were able to get lime and mint for mojitos.
Stayed in 1206. The positive first: excellent west view of pacific and Molakai. Highest floor. Sunset can be seen daily. Smooth check in. Now the negative: very dirty apartment. They take a cleaning fee but I think they only clean the bathroom with it. Ceiling has dead bugs which have been there for months if not years. Dust all over the popcorn ceiling. Thick Dust in all the fans, in the lamps, head boards, furniture. You have to take out your own trash because it’s not covered in the cleaning fee. You have to wash your own dishes because it’s a requirement and there is no dishwasher and it’s not covered in their cleaning fees. They really should not charge a cleaning fee because this particular unit has not been deep cleaned is an extremely long time. I would not stay in this apartment again. I advice others to pick another apartment in the same building which may be very clean, upgraded kitchen/bathroom, and offer the same view. Advice for property management: actually use the proceeds of the cleaning fee to give this apartment a deep clean.
