This place is great for larger groups. Washer and dryer in condo is a huge plus. Having beach chairs and towels was super nice and appreciated. We had a great time. The shower tile needs updating and so does the loft bedroom mattress- you can actually feel the springs and I’m 150 pounds…. It wasn’t great. Master bedroom had a large clump of hair in the corner, must’ve been missed by vacuum? Please provide an oscillating fan for upstairs. It gets HOT up there. Pool is terrific and beach is just to the left. Beautiful views! Overall a nice stay. Great location and space is terrific!
Beautiful condo and balcony. Top floor condo, with an elevator. The condo was well equipped. The property had nice gas Weber grills. Right on a nice sandy beach. The two pools were very nice and warm. There is an ABC store in the right next door.
We loved out stay! The condo was perfect for our family of 8. We enjoyed sunsets overlooking the ocean on the deck. It condo was centrally located to the beaches and hikes and shopping. Perfect vacation stay.
The condo was absolutely amazing!Location was perfect and you could walk to everything! The grocery store was across the street, food carts and coffee was also a block away.Snorkeling was amazing just down the beach. Pool area and bbq were also wonderful!The condo is stocked with everything you need to cook with as well as coolers, chairs, and boogie boards. We appreciated the ease of check out which entailed pretty much packing our suitcases and locking the doorOr an amazing hostThanks for helping us make some great family memories.
You can't beat this amazing ocean view 3 bedroom for the price. We had such a wonderful time enjoying the view on the lanai. It was clean and roomy. Walking distance to grocery store and places to eat. It came well equipped with all the beach necessities which we appreciated. We would definitely come back!
We had a great stay. We love the condo and have rented it two times. If there is anything negative to say I would say get some new lanai furniture. We spent a lot of time out there and it’s not super comfortable. The view is so beautiful. We would rent this condo again if we bring the whole family. Thank you for sharing your home.

This is a wonderful condo right at the water overlooking the ocean with Lanai on the left and Moloka'i on the right side and humpback whales jumping in near and far distance between the islands. It's a spacious place. The kitchen could be a little better equipped, e.g. not all of the cutlery was x 8 and some of the coated pots and pans were damaged. Overall, it's the perfect location for being at the water and watching the humpback whale migration in January and if you like the sound of the waves. It's also very close to walk to beautiful Kaanapali beach. We enjoyed out time very much and can highly recommend this place.
Our family stays at Papakea over the holidays every year. The location is perfect and the oceanfront views are amazing. The condo had everything we needed. There was an insect issue the first few days (4 dead roaches showed up), but then it was fine (they may have just sprayed before we arrived). I would recommend adding more forks because there were only about 5. Thank you for sharing your home with us! We loved it and would definitely stay again!

We stayed at the property for 5 nights, and it was fantastic! Fully equipped with beach chairs, floaties, towels and everything you need for a home away from home and on the ocean! We saw whales everyday from our balcony and turtles along the shoreline surfing the waves! This place makes you feel like you’re at home on your vacation with your ohana. Everything about our condo stay was lovely and just as described in the listing. We loved the ocean view from the lanai, the ability for six (3 couples) to have their own space, and all the accessible beach gear. The jacuzzi and pool area were clean and quiet, and the grills were perfect for preparing dinner. I hope to come back again!
This condo was perfect for our group. We loved how close it was to the water. We saw mantarays swimming by each evening sea turtles, dolphins and jumping fish. We snorkeled at the property also and saw even more .. we loved walking on the beach and the food trucks in the courtyard down the street! The BEST cinnamon rolls ever at the little shop on the main road in front of property and several nice little coffee shops. The resort itself was quiet and mostly small families The pools and grounds were well lit at night with lights and tiki torches. And the hot tub was awesome! We had a great time!

One night we had a very large cockroach visit the bed and got in my wife's hair.
Shower tile floors did not have grout.

This property was great for us 3 couples! I am a stickler for cleanliness, so the only minor complaint I would have is the floors didn't seem as clean as I would have liked them.
The property is well kept up and relaxing! Perfect area for low key resort style. The place was very comfortable for a family of 6 adults. Had all the amenities we needed. Very much enjoyed bbqing most dinners by the pool and catching the sunsets.

Cannot beat this property for it's location and views! We saw whales every morning from the balcony. Don't think too much about this one. Just book it.
Top floor with wonderful view for sunsets and whale watching. Can sleep 8 adults, but a little crowded as those sleeping on the pull out in the living room had to share bathroom and place to keep luggage and stuff to keep out of living room. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed as well as having a washer and dryer was nice. The unit is getting a little wear with some minor things overall cleaning could be better as some items were found in the living and dining area as well as all 3 showers were showing mold. Property grounds were well maintained with pool, hot tub, putting green, and shuffle board. Beach just a few blocks away.
We had a wonderful two week stay. The Papakea is one of our favorite places on Maui. The unit was as advertised with a wonderful view and a perfect set up for us and our family.
We would absolutely recommend this to our friends!
