The unit itself was a little tired and in need of some fixes and updates but it is right on the water and ultimately that is what we wanted vs a nicer interior. Location close to town and convenient. Maybe swap out the carpet - some new furniture might be a good first step?Property management was a bit of problem - unit was not ready - we actually had to stay somewhere else for a night until this was cleaned. They said they would credit us some for our trouble but to date they have not followed through and they have not been responsive to me since we left
The condo was tired. Clogged sinks, lacking in cooking utensiles pots and pans. Had to buy a new pan to use while we were there. The owners did how ever purchase some new items when i exspressed what was happening. The bbqs onsite were in very pour working condition.

Screen door to lanai doesn’t shut and is damaged. Carpet needs cleaning. Water damage in master bedroom corner. Nathroom cabinet door doesn’t stay shut. 4 on the door lock doesn’t always work. Parch of ceiling paint in living room has fallen off.Check in was great. Hot tub was dirty and foamong like a bubble bath. Did not get in.
The property was good and location was fantastic. The balcony was A+. We appreciated early check-in on Thanksgiving Day. Rooms were comfortable but we could see the sea salt has affected the interior slider screens, bath areas, stove cooktop, some of the electronic equipment but I guess that can be expected. It was weird the light switch plates were low on the wall. The AC plug quit working so luckily we had an extension cord of our own. We reported it but no one came to fix it. Pool was nice but a bit cold to swim, but kids liked it. Overall I’d recommend this property.
My friend and I had a nice stay in this 1 bedroom oceanfront condo. It was very clean, bed was comfortable and the view with balcony is fabulous. It is a perfect place for a couple or friends traveling together. I took a star off for a couple reasons. The main bedroom is great but the smaller back bedroom is stuffy so we did not use it. Also the condo as a whole is dated. The carpeting is very worn and the kitchen cabinets need updating. Despite that it is a convenient location and communication with the rental agency was good.
Very well kept condo on the water about 2 miles south of Kona. Very clean, well appointed, and would stay there again anytime. Loved our time there.

We found the unit pretty far from the listing. The lanai had three chairs around the table so if all four of us wanted to sit and watch the ocean we had to get a chair from inside. We had roach like bugs in the kitchen. The kitchen inexplicably two refrigerators, which made it impossible for two of us to be in there. The guest room ceiling texture material would fall to the floor with activity above us. As to communication, we reported the roaches and got a reply that said the unit was sprayed regularly and to keep food of the counters. We think it was the lack of thorough cleaning prior to our arrival as we found old potato chips on the floor. Finally we messaged the hosts about check out procedures and never got a response.
Great stay all the necessities were provided as well as many extras. Liked hearing the waves rolling in at night to help me sleep.
We had a great time at this great property. The water is just 10 feet from the lanai and the views are stunning!
