Condo was clean, view was unlike any other, plenty of things to do. Would highly recommend this listing. Betsy and Brooke were amazing hosts!
All was perfect, but the missing AC on the second bedroom was a bad surprise.
The house was perfect for us. The beach was so close we opened our windows to listen to the ocean at night. This was the vacation of a lifetime, my husband and I with our two grown children and their spouses. I would highly recommend this rental. I asked Brooke and Betsy what the one thing is we should not miss. We took their advice, and it was everyone's favorite adventure of the whole trip.
We have stayed at Pono Kai a number of times, and this unit was our favorite. Beautiful view, nice fresh interior, ideal location, and easy communication with the owner. Highly recommend.

Amenities in this condo were above and beyond thoughtful... Finally a vacation rental with attention to important details like quality mattresses for a good night sleep, extra supplies including paper products, spices & beach going necessities. Comfortable upgrades & amazing views. The only downside was the laundry not in the unit but accessible to the building as a whole. But a minor inconvenience in the whole of this rental. Easy access to a beautiful beach, walking trail and amenities.
This was a wonderful condo. The location was close to the beach, slops and restaurants. The condo was clean, well stocked with beach chairs and everything we needed to make our vacation memorable. The Air Conditioner works amazing. The view from the balcony while we ate our breakfast was picturesque Thanks for making our 25 wedding anniversary a memorable celebration.
Loved the thoughtfulness throughout this condo- every beach item we could possibly need, lots of towels, fully stocked kitchen, and plenty of room for our group of 5. The teenagers enjoyed having their own space upstairs, which even has a little mini fridge. This is the first time we have stayed in a top floor unit which we enjoyed. The view is beautiful and it was very quiet, no noisy neighbors upstairs. Great location at the Pono Kai with all the fun amenities there. We regularly used the beach path for biking, walks, and going to the bridge for fishing. Walking distance to great restaurants, shops, and food trucks. I can’t say enough great things about this unit. Book it and you won’t be disappointed!
Walk Right outside to beach and walking path. Nice balcony to enjoy view w coffee in the am to watch sunrise. Very casual place and easy to walk to local shops if you are looking for laid back place. They had everything we needed for beach from cooler to chairs.

Our family had an excellent stay. The property is beautiful, well maintained and equipped. Beds were really comfortable. The view is amazing and worth the stay alone. The hosts are top notch. Would love to stay here again next time we're in Kauai!
We loved our stay and the condo was perfect for our family. The view from the lanai is stunning! The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything no needed. The hall closet was stocked with beach chairs, sand toys, snorkels and so much more. Brooke and Betsy were very responsive to our questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This was our second stay at Pono Kai. First time in this unit. Really enjoyed this two bedroom with a loft. Lots of amenities. Comfy beds. Fully stocked kitchen. Great owners. Would love to return. Indeed, my daughter is lobbying for me to buy a unit. That’s high praise!

This was a great place to stay! Great views of the beach right off the balcony, walking distance to downtown Kapaa and very clean. They even provided beach towels and beach gear. Would stay again!
This property was exactly what we were looking for in our Kauai vacation. The condo was beautiful and clean with lots of room. the kitchen was well stocked. The view was breathtaking! We had coffee every morning watching the sunrise.The location of the condo is great! it is walking distance to so many great things- coffee, food trucks, fresh fruit stand... We will definitely be back. Thanks to Brooke and Betsy for allowing us to stay!
The view from the condo can't be beat! The bicycle path was wonderful for walks and people watching. January offered an opportunity to watch whales breaching. We had a great time and hope to return to beautiful Kauai!

6 adult family members had a wonderful Christmas getaway to this lovely beachfront condo. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook with, loved morning coffee on the Lanai, AC was quiet but powerful. Very clean.

We stayed here with family. We were able to leave the 20 somethings at the condo guilt free because they could walk to everything Great 8 mile bike path right outside the condo!
Comfy, clean condo in a resort complex with much on offer! Roll out the front door and down the stairs and you are steps from the sand and good swimming or from strolling and exploring oh-so-Kauai Kapa'a town. And, lots of beach gear in the closet to use!
Loved our time here. Great central location to beaches, food and relaxation. Condo worked well for six of us. Common use/shared coin operated washers and dryers only slight inconvenience for the trip. Wonderful grounds. Lots of games to play and opportunities through the activities center. Would come and stay again.
