A wonderful place to stay! Had everything we needed to be comfortable. Loved the beach gear for my kids to use. The property was very nice too—beautiful landscaping, nice paths, easy parking. Beach access was super close, pool by the beach was lovely with a large pavilion with grills and a full kitchen to prepare or heat up a meal by the water. Will definitely be back! And really appreciate the offer to check in early since there was nobody checking out before us. Those few extra hours helped a ton!
Overall we loved this resort and the location of our condo and would definitely stay here again. The Good: -Close proximity to pool and beach-Owners were very responsive -Master King bed was very comfortable( In past reviews others have stated otherwise so maybe it has been replaced?)-Well stocked with paper products and cleaning supplies-Washer and Dryer were very nice and laundry detergent was suppliedThe Bad: -It could be cleaner, carpet did not seem very well swept and drawers were dusty-Living room furniture could use an update-Pull out couch and ottoman are probably best suited to children also sheets for ottoman had a large hole in them, my adult daughter ended up putting sheets on the couch (not folded out into bed) and it was comfortable for her.Overall great stay and would not hesitate to rebook this unit and will definitely stay at Wailea Ekahi again!
We had a wonderful stay at Ekahi 5D. My wife and I found the unit to be clean, peaceful and very well stocked for a stress free tropical vacation. Highly recommend!
We had a great stay at this property. We’re a family with a 9 & 12 year old. Property was exactly as described. Location was great; convenient to all Wailea activities; building well-situated on Ekahi property. Very close to pool and beach, no big uphill walks. Property owners were responsive and easy to work with. Would stay here again.

What a great place to stay. We had a two-year old with us, and the unit was well appointed, clean, comfortable, and in a fantastic location at Ekahi. Highly recommend this! And the owners are awesome - responded immediately to questions and took action right away. Mahalo to them both!
Our family of five stayed here over spring break. The location and proximity to excellent beaches was outstanding! The condo itself was well appointed with a variety of quality beach gear. The well-stocked kitchen made cooking meals on site a breeze. Several pools, grills, and a central clubhouse made for fun evenings after sunset swimming with the kids. Highly recommend!
This unit is so well equipped for little children, we could not have been happier.
Rented this unit for my daughter and 7 year old granddaughter and it was perfect. Large kitchen and very well stocked so we cooked and ate on her lanai rather than our rental. The second bathroom and shower was nice to have and she said their bed was very comfy. Nice quality towels also. Lots of beach toys and chairs/umbrella and cooler. Everything to make for a perfect holiday.Would not hesitate to rent again. Perhaps only negative comment I could find is the carpet should be replaced or cleaned as it is quite stained. Not a dealbreaker for renting though as I mentioned above.
The property is in a gorgeous location and building in a close to beach as well. very tropical. Bld is older and windows need maintenance. The blinds inside are old and need attention. carpet is very dirty and stained and needs to be replaced. bed is terrible. Couldnt sleep and left early because I couldnt sleep in a worn our bed. Kitchen is very nice and well stocked for whatever you need. I would stay again if owner would buy a new bed and clean and/or replace carpets. very dusty too. Not cleaned very well at all. Blinds dirty, entry dirty, etc.

Fabulous location and great grounds. Beach is not super deep but has great shade early in the morning. The pools are great. Snorkeling to the north is really good too!

My husband and I were looking for a place to really relax after several major health challenges followed his retirement last summer. This condo fit the bill perfectly; it's a great value for how close to the beach you are. We spent most days reading and relaxing on the beach or lanai. The view from the lanai is a major plus.... lawn, flowers and palm trees, let alone the tropical birdsong.
The owner was very responsive to inquires and bent over backwards to accommodate our particular needs. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations, though we ate in for most meals.
The beach towels, chairs and umbrella were greatly appreciated, esp. the box of snorkel gear by the front door. The water was a little clearer at Po'olenalena Beach for snorkeling, but we still enjoyed being able to walk down to the beach below the condo for reading and going in the ocean.
I enjoyed the sunset from the small pool nearby. Hopefully next time we visit, the pool by the beach will be open! It looked like a great place to spend an afternoon reading.
Our only excursion was a stargazing tour atop Haleakala. It was nice to let someone else do the driving, then enjoy a spectacular sunset and night sky.
Let's just say I'm already planning another trip within a year or two. Highly recommend this unit!

We loved our stay at Ekani in Wailea, Maui. Six days of beautiful weather, we couldn't of had more fun and relaxation.
Would stay here again. The two fold out bed options were great so my 2 kids didn't need to share a bed.
This is a very nice property in a nice location within the Ekahi complex. It is a short walk to the beach and pool. The unit was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. If I had any advise or negative feedback for the owner it would be that the furniture is getting very tired and could use updating. The mattress in the bedroom is old and sagging and the two chairs in the living room are so worn out that the cushions bottom out when you sit in the chairs, you might as well be sitting on the wood frames, they are extremely uncomfortable and impossible to sit in for any period of time.
