We loved the location of this property. The water outside the window is so clear you can see yellow and black tangs in the waves. Looks like an aquarium. We also so spinner dolphins playing. Listening to the waves crash on the rocks is the best. It was really hot while we were there in September so the portable AC got a workout but sleeping was comfortable. The bathroom stayed warm. Very clean and comfortable.
Gorgeous space to spend our honeymoon! The building had a working grill we took full advantage of for dinners. You can watch sunset and moonset from the unit itself and fall asleep to the waves. The water is so clear we could see fish in the water from the condo. Easy walk to Magic Sands beach with convenient feet washing stations for the sand. Alice was very kind accommodating check-in and check-out time hiccups we had due to flights. Highly recommend this stay!
The stay was in the perfect location! There was a great restaurant right next to the condos that has breakfast/coffee, and lunch and dinner. The beach next door was beautiful! Alice was a great host! She was prompt to respond and answered all our questions.

We loved its location…central to the things we wanted to enjoy in Kona town, and the towns south of us. And at night the ocean waves outside our bedroom window made us feel like we were sleeping on the water.
Property is clean, neat and tidy. Has beach chairs and a cooler for your trips. You cannot ask for a better view when the windows are open. The shower has good pressure but barely warm. Highly recommend for a couple.
Not a dust bunny to be found! which is impressive considering it's tile flooring throughout. Good location to get around, but the waves are loud because they hit the footers of the development without breakers a bit out. It took us a few nights to get accustomed as it sounded like we were in a New England thunderstorm all night. Then again, it's good that the waves are loud and that there was a portable air conditioner because otherwise, you'd hear cars and harleys on Alii Dr. These are all unavoidable in this area, so no fault of the owner. Pans could use "refreshing", but the pot was ok and worked to fry eggs for breakfast. Appreciated the beach and snorkeling gear.
This was an amazing place to stay for so many reasons. The view is beyond words and the sound of the waves is so calming. It is well equipped and very clean. The beach by the property is a magical place and there is good snorkeling at another beach about a mile away. The only reason I didn’t give the place five stars is that the building is under construction with loud noise from 8-4 every day I was there, and I wasn’t given a heads-up about it. I just would have liked to have known that so that I could have made other arrangements. But otherwise, great place that’s close to everything. I would consider staying again but I would check first to make sure the construction was completed.
We stayed 4 nights at this property and it was perfect. So many great beaches close by for snorkeling and swimming. Convenient to the shopping center in Kona, but without the bustle and chaos. We didn't need to rent a thing for our beach days, and we enjoyed a nice ocean breeze and stunning views at night. Would stay again!nice ocean
How it is described is what you get! The view is amazing and the sounds of the ocean definitely lull you to sleep. It’s right beside the Magic Sands beach which is the best for wave jumping and great snorkeling is close by. Its location is easy access to shopping and the main highway to get to other sightseeing locations. The host, Alice, is very quick with responses to questions you may have. I would highly recommend this place to a couple that wants to explore this beautiful Island.
Dark, you can’t read. The ceiling fan operated the light at the end of the couch. The light wouldn’t by itself.

We spent ten days at the property. Alice and Lori were enjoyable to work with.
This property was as advertised. Nothing fancy, but clean and functional.
Several items were available to use for going to the beach - chairs, towels, and etc.
We enjoyed our stay at this little condo right on the ocean. Stayed for 9 nights. Has a lovely view of the ocean with a screen door that we had open at night so we could fall asleep listening to the waves. The owner was very kind and communicative, and even sent us a gift card for the nearby Magic’s Restaurant as a gift for our honeymoon! Good working shower and stove. The room was a little muggy/hot, and the air conditioning unit was not the best. Not the most clean kept room in the world but decent. Had a couple instances where we saw little tiny bugs in the sink and in the cabinets. But not much. After about the third day there, we didn’t see them again. So take what you will from that.
Overall, I’d give the place an 8/10. Very nice location, and good accommodations for my wife and I for the 9 nights we spent there on our honeymoon.
Great stay clean unit, excellent restaurant and bar attached to complex, great beach and location for day trips.
We enjoyed our stay in Kona, especially since my kids were practically next door. Alice, your water colors are beautiful.

Enjoyed my stay 2 years ago at this property & had to book it again. Another great experience. I love the location. I got to listen to the waves crashing all night, so relaxing! No issues. Cute lil condo. Would recommend staying here if you’re in Kona & want that ocean view as well as Magic Sands Beach just 2 mins away.

My son rally enjoyed his second trip to Hawaii, in part, thanks to the property owner who stocked the unit with snorkeling gear (important for my son). The view and sound of the ocean from the unit was great. The small friendly beach was quite close. But the big island is really big and one week may not be enough to see all its wonderful spots…
The unit had all what we were looking. Parking for rental, oceanfront view, kitchenette, and a bed. They were extraordinary additions like beach towels, beach chairs, body boards, snorkel gear, coffeemaker toaster, microwave, laundry (quarters only), pool, etc. The unit is literally next door to Magic Sands Beach, 15-20 minutes to “downtown” Kailua, 2 miles to grocery store, 20-30 minutes to airport, 2 hours (on HWY 11) to Volcano Park and 2.5 hours going back from Saddle Rd. which is a driving experience I can’t explain in little words. We had the most relaxing stay listening to the waves as we go to sleep, breathtaking view of the ocean and sunset. We will definitely come back and hope to stay here again. Thank you for hosting us! The location and oceanview of the accomodation was very good, also pleasant with a parkingspot for each room. However did we not sleep very well, you can not darken the room because of thin linnen curtains so you will be awake by sunrise. Also the room wasn't so clean, contained a lot of dust.
We were looking for a central location to access lots of activities ranging from hiking to, of course, beach activities. The Magic Sands beach and amazing sunsets were literally out the front door. It was an easy drive or longer walk/bike to shopping and restaurants. The Magic Sands restaurant below was very good too! Shave ice right across the street. The condo had all the conveniences we needed even though we didn’t cook. Loved having beach towels and beach equipment. We would come back in a heartbeat!
Nice studio unit. Had everything we needed. Right next to Magic Sands beach which makes for convenient access to the beach but a busy area. Nice on site pool and BBQ area that we used several evenings.
This property was beautiful, how could it not be, you are almost in the ocean! The apt. was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The pool area is really nice, clean, and well-maintained as well. The parking lot gets a bit dicey at night, but that is due to the "local flair" and not anyone's fault. Only issue. There is a neighbor on one side who is very intrusive, even opening the screen door to look inside one day, complaining that the screen makes noise. Several comments were made to us, making us feel we were under constant supervision. We followed all the rules, so it wasn't a huge deal, but it did unnerve me on occasion. I would definitely stay again, I just tried to book for the same time next year and am sad to learn it's already booked.
