The Papakea Oceanfront Resort, a hidden Hawaiian gem, is a tropical oasis situated on 13 sprawling acres of lush & beautifully manicured grounds in upscale West Maui with stunning views of Lanai and Molokai Islands. The Papakea is in the quiet neighborhood of Honokawai. It's conveniently located between the Kaanapali and Kapalua world-class golf resorts and is only minutes from Lahaina's shopping, restaurants, and nightlife.

Our condo, in the 'L' building, is only 50 steps from the water's edge, so close you can hear the surf inside! Directly in front of our building is direct access to world-famous Kaanapali Beach. To the south you can stroll miles along the white, sandy beach toward Black Rock, stopping along the way for a swim or some awesome snorkeling.

Our lanai faces the ocean directly and provides unobstructed 180 degree views of gorgeous morning sunrises, enchanting daytime rainbows over the ocean, spectacular nightly sunsets, and incredible shows during whale watching season. )

Our comfortable home-away-from-home includes remodeled kitchen & bath, upgraded tile flooring, designer paint colors, island-style furnishings and flat-screen TV's. Sleeps four to five with a king-size bed in the master, a queen-size bed in the spacious and private loft, a queen-size sofa sleeper in the living room, and one bathroom. We're on the top/4th floor and have soaring 18' cathedral ceilings lending an open and airy feeling.

**In January 2023, we're installing a 3-zone central AC system to keep you cool & comfortable when the trade winds aren't cooperating. When the trades are blowing, we prefer leaving windows and lanai door open to catch a fantastic breeze in the condo. Five-speed ceiling fans are also in all rooms.

The Papakea Resort charges a $25/day Facilities Use Fee (separate from our rental charges). This fee supports resort amenities such as pools, hot tubs, putting greens, tennis courts, 24-hr security, grounds maintenance, etc.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS:
Interior plumbing replacement project began June 2024 in Building A. One building will be done at a time. Our building, L, is not affected until Feb/March 2026.
