Beautiful property, location exceptional. Loved facing the ocean and hearing the surf. Well equipped kitchen and in unit laundry a plus.
With all the kitchen equipment it was very functional. Liked the owner had posted many helpful messages to help use the facilities. Especially liked it had a kettle for tea. Could use a temp probe for meat. The loft was ideal for our daughter & friend. Great view of the ocean and saw whales breaching. Would definitely stay here again.
Unforgettable stay at Papakea in Lahaina, Maui!We had an absolutely incredible stay at this Vrbo condo at Papakea! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the spectacular oceanfront view—watching the sunset from our lanai was breathtaking, and the whale watching was simply unforgettable.The location couldn’t be better—just steps from the beach and within minutes of some of the best snorkeling spots in Maui, including Black Rock and the stunning northern bays of Napili and Kapalua. The property itself was immaculately maintained, and the condo was spotless, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.We also loved how conveniently located Papakea is—just a short walk to a grocery store, great restaurants, and shopping at Whalers Village. Speaking of food, we highly recommend Miss Arepa (our favorite!) and L&L Barbecue for delicious, local flavors.If you’re looking for a clean, comfortable, and perfectly located condo with unbeatable ocean views, this is it! We can’t wait to return!
Everything was ok except for the bathroom shower. The drain was very, very, slow. The drain needs some major work. There was only one bathroom in this unit.
We loved everything about this property. The location and views of whales from the porch EVERY DAY was surreal. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the porch every morning and wish we never had to leave. All the cooking supplies and beach supplies were great. We really enjoyed the free mai tais by the pool on Thursday evening as well. The little strip across the street from the property had the grocery store with everything we needed. And the restaurants there were great as well. The pizza we got from Pizza Paradiso was delicious and the food truck court right there was just an added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay! The keyless entry system is wonderful - our teenage daughters could come and go as they pleased without having to worry about a key.
Everything as described. Little notes by the outlets/ceiling fan switches/inside kitchen cabinets were very helpful. Resort is great! 2 pools, tons of gas grills (we used them often!), can walk right next door if you want a sand beach. Stort drive to Front Street. Owners left many suggestions (dining, shopping, etc) and we used almost every one and all were great. We use VRBO alot, and this was one of our best stays!
The rental is in a very nice complex and the views are phenomenal. It is close to a lot of convenient stores and beaches too! We will definitely be staying there again!
We had the time of our life! Condo was perfect and view was spectacular. Would recommend this property to anyone wanting the perfect trip.
