The unit has Koa Wood furniture featuring a King Size Bed and 2 end tables. Free Wifi, 65ā cable TV with Bose speaker, comfortable sectional, floor to ceiling mirror, ACs, ceiling fans, security screen door, and use of a free washer & dryer.
Island Surf has its own private solar heated swimming pool with 2 gas barbecues and an eating area with an Oceanview.
You can walk to many beaches: Charley Young Beach - The Cove - and Kalama Ocean Park which has showers, picnic tables and bathrooms. Learn to surf, watch whales when in season, and see turtles along ocean paths.
It is next door to South Maui Gardens: aka 'Maui's Hidden Oasis', set in a tropical setting with 14 delicious food trucks, live entertainment, Luaus, Hula Shows, Comedy Shows & a Farmers Market. You can walk to āThe Triangleā: South Mauiās Entertainment Center; which has live music, bars, local shopping and restaurants.
We provide beach chairs, boogie boards, beach towels, cooler on wheels, hair dryer - and a copy of āMaui Revealedā for guest use.
There is a Solar Heated Pool on the 2nd floor with 2 gas BBQs, tables & chairs.
We are minutes away from Foodland Grocery, a Movie Theater, and a Maui Bus Stop.

Please note that The Island Surf is a NO SMOKING building. There is a designated smoking area in the parking lot.

We had a wonderful stay here. Communication with the owner was great, the area has a nice little food truck parking lot with a ton of great options. The view is amazing, right across the ocean. A lot of great parks nearby and there was plenty of parking. Would definitely recommend.

I told the host I'd give a fair account of our experience at this condo. There is no malcontent here, just what we experienced. This condo would be perfect in Myrtle Beach, SC, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but it's what it is: old, run-down, smells bad, on the intersection of two roads (so not on the beach), and just, blah. Now, if you read through reviews, you'll see a pattern where people will share about how the condo was dirty, or there were insects or the place just felt grimy, and the host will say things like, "Well, you're on a tropical island" or "We have the condo professionally cleaned with pictures to prove it" and those comments are well and good, but the fact is there was hair in the shower and sink (sent pictures) and we found fleas in the mattress cover (took pictures and left on a paper towel for proof), and it just smells really old. Of course, we got the same responses as others who have stayed here, so clearly there is a pattern. Either there needs to be a new company hired to clean the condo, a complete reno of the place, or a willingness to work with people who paid lots of money to walk into an unhomely condo. We booked four nights but got out after 2. No refund offered (to be expected once you read all the reviews) but worth it to not stay there another 2 nights. Again, if you're cool with paying good money for a run-down, leave you feeling dirty condo, then you'll have no problems. But there are too many other places to stay in Kihei!

The unit was exactly as described in the listing. The view from the lanai is stunning. Location is so convenient. South Maui Gardens is right behind the building. Multiple restaurants, convenience stores, and a grocery store within a less than five minutes walk. I also cannot say enough positive about the host. Communication was top notch and they are so friendly. Checked in with us multiple times throughout our ten day stay simply asking if everything was up to our expectations and if there were any issues. If I could give both the condo and the boats a ten star rating, I definitely would. This was our first time in Maui, and definitely will not be our last. We will definitely stay in this same unit when we return. Do not hesitate to book this unit with complete confidence. Convenient, clean, furnished beautifully, fantastic area, easy parking, great communication. I simply do not know what else anyone could possibly want for a vacation rental. 10/10 will be back.

This property was perfect for us! You can walk to everything! The South Maui Luau is directly behind the property with tons of food trucks. The Kihei Caffe is right next door as is the Paia Fish market (so ono!). Plenty of space for us and a balcony overlooking the water

The property is within walking distance of so much/ groceries, beach, park, bar, shopping, coffee, restaurants etc. The view from the deck was great. It can be a little noisy on the deck during the day, but didnāt bother us as we were usually out during the day. Had a separate AC
unit in the bedroom which was a lifesaver for us. Plenty if space for the two of us. Weād stay again.

Great Condo located in the heart of Kihei. Beaches, parks, shops, restaurants and bars. Great view of ocean with swimmers, surfers and snorkelers. Our hosts, Ligia and Mike couldnāt have been better. Our first nite we had problems with the TV set. The next morning they showed up with a brand new 65 inch set. Ligia would text every few days to check if all was well and see if we needed anything. Great hosts, great Condo!

The best features of this property is location and view. I think this is the only 6 story building in the area and is designed with all units to have an ocean view. Since this unit is on the top floor, the ocean view was the best! We enjoyed watching surfers, both experienced and beginners in surf school, from our lanai. The location is adjacent to shops, restaurants, and bars. The building lower level has shops including a great deli and a convenience store.it also has good off street parking. The owner was very responsive to questions or problems we had.

The view of the beach from this property is fantastic! The property is conveniently located close to restaurants, stores, the beach, etc. Ligia was a great host who responded to our requests in a timely manner. We would definitely rent this property again.
