We stayed here for my wife to compete in the Ironman World Championship. It was nice to have a beautiful and stress free stay with great communication, seamless checkin, a wonderful bed, and more beach and pool toys for the kids than anyone could have brought. We left Waikaloa at 4:30 and had no trouble getting straight down to the race, nor trouble getting back that evening.

One of the best properties we have ever stayed in. The condo was very spacious, clean, wells stocked and we especially liked the lanai/patio to enjoy the ocean air and breeze. The location was suburb and so close to the pool and onsite bar restaurant. It was perfect after a long day exploring on the beach. The condo extras like beach chairs and umbrellas were top notch and make beach days perfect. Richard! I can’t say enough of how gracious of a host by providing us options to help plan our trip. We have been coming to Hali’i Kai for years and this year we were lucky to stay in this wonderful unit. Great floor plan, easy walk to pool with pool bar and fitness center, also a very clean and nicely furnished unit. We plan to book here again!

The location of this unit can’t be beat. Steps from the Ocean Club and pool, huge grassy area for kids to play, in the most tranquil and BEAUTIFUL complex. Richard and the cleaning staff were AMAZING to communicate with and responded within minutes whenever there was a need. The house was stocked with everything we could need for a family beach day. Thank you for providing the extra pack and play for the baby, as well as the highchair. Mahalo!
We have been to Hali’i Kai 9 times and this one was of our favorite units! Close to the pool, great couch, awesome amenities. If I had to knit pick anything it would be that there is definitely some wear and tear, but that’s honestly to be expected. Also, my husband and I opted to put the 2 twins together to make a second queen since my mom was in the master and it was a bit uncomfortable. Next time we would take the queen and have the kids in the 2 twin! We just like a big bed!Thanks for a great 2 week stay!Owner and property manager were great!!
We had a great stay! We had extended family in two different units. Worked great! Views are amazing, location is great. Be careful if the towels provided in your unit match and/or are towels from the pool. You will get acosted by other homeowners if they see them.
We had an amazing stay! We love Halii Kai and being so close to the pool was really convenient. We could be there right at opening, go play at the beach in the afternoon and be back in time for a last dip in the pool, dinner, mai tais and sunset at the Beach Club! Richard and his manager Jackie were very easy to work with. We had some miscommunication about our arrival time and Richard was so kind to accommodate us in his other unit in the same building 16H which has killer views of the ocean from the balcony. We will definitely be booking one of these units next time we are in Kona! Note for anyone traveling with kids: Richard’s units are stocked! We had everything we needed and more, all the kitchen basics and lots of pantry items, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkels, towels, boogie boards of varying sizes, and games!
We really enjoyed our 6 days at this house. Very clean and very nice layout. Location is right next to the ocean and pool. Short walk to beach and short drive to anything you need. The host Richard excellent with communication and helped with any questions. Would highly recommend for rest and relaxation. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding was amazing!! The view was unforgettable. We will definitely return to this amazing place.

What an incredible stay! Beautiful unit with an ocean view from the master bedroom. Unit is in one of the closest buildings to the pool and bar/restaurant area with a luxury resort feel. Many of the perks found at a nice hotel but with more privacy and room to spread out with family and friends. Quite community in a beautiful setting.
The rental host is super friendly and easy to communicate with. I’d definitely look to stay here again when traveling to the big Island. Love this place!!
Gorgeous property! We had an amazing time
We had an amazing trip to the Big Island and this condo played a big part in it. The thoroughly enjoyed the condo, pool and on-site restaurant. The resort grounds are beautiful and well kept. The condo was very clean, beds were all super comfortable and fit out family of 6 well. If anything it feels bigger and more impressive than the pictures. The garage had a nice stock of beach gear including 10 beach chairs, 5 sets of snorkel gear, 3 umbrellas, 4 boogie boards, 3 coolers and sand toys. The resort pool was wonderful and a very short walk from the condo. The restaurant beside the pool was delicious and had live music on some evenings. We walked the path along the ocean to the Hilton next door on several mornings and the views are breathtaking. Richard was excellent to work with and checked in to make sure everything was going well (which it was). We would stay here again in a heartbeat if we visit the Big Island again in the future.

Visited Waikoloa with our family and this unit could not have been more perfect. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Checkin instructions clear. Comfortable beds and plenty of towels. Resort is amazing with lagoon pool, pool bar and grill and the best sunset views. Five thousand stars all around.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here! Richard was very helpful and accomodating with everything from information about the house, helping find things to do, and being easily reachable when I couldn't find something in the house. The house was supplied with everything we could need for the beach and cooking at home for the week we were there. The house was super spacious and comfortable. The bed was so comfy-most comfy bed I have ever had access to in a VRBO! I also loved the proximity to the ocean, the beautiful pool that was available and we went to the nearby beach(Waikola) many times and snorkeled with sea turtles! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We had an amazing time staying at this property. Richard was thorough with all the information and was available at anytime we had questions. The condo was clean and we were all very comfortable, it felt like home.
We could easily walk to the pool and walking path and we had great views of the sunset every night. A highlight for us was getting to sit on the patio every morning to have our coffee and enjoy the views and gentle breeze. We will be back again!
My husband, myself and our teenage son recently had the pleasure of staying at Richard's Condo in Waikoloa, Hawaii, and I can't say enough about how perfect everything was. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with tranquility and breathtaking sunsets that made each evening unforgettable.
The condo itself was immaculate. Every corner of the house was spotless, reflecting the high standards of care and cleanliness maintained by the hosts. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring we had restful nights after our days of adventure.
One of the highlights was the restaurant by the pool. The staff there were not only friendly but also very welcoming, making us feel right at home. Their warm hospitality added an extra touch of enjoyment to our stay.
Overall, Richard's Condo exceeded our expectations in every way. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended!

This was our family's first stay on The Big Island, and it exceeded our expectations. The property was perfect! It was bigger than it looked online. There were 6 of us and we had plenty of space. Loved the location right across from the Ocean Club. The place was stocked with everything we'd need - beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkel gear etc. It was quiet and peaceful at all hours which made it even more relaxing. The Ocean Club is beautiful, and the food is great. Our host’s itinerary suggestions were great and so helpful. We all can’t wait to go back!
Great communication, easy check-in, clean, clean, clean!! The pool and gym were close and my kids loved those facilities. Close access to many beaches, nice quiet neighborhood also. The garage was well stocked with everything we needed. Checkout was phenomenal, our vacation was amazing on the Big Island and we definitely hope to stay here again.

Always a very memorable stay. Beds are comfortable. We enjoy the lawn and view in front of us. Pool is easy to access and the drinks and food at the pool are a wonderful bonus.
