This was our third time staying in the same condo. The view from lanai is beautiful. We loved waking up early to enjoy coffee while taking in the stunning ocean view. The location is perfect - close to everything you need. Be sure to catch the sunset every evening; it’s absolutely beautiful.
Everything was as expected. Host very responsive. Great location for walking to the beach. Kamaole Sands is a great family friendly resort.
Property was as described. Walking distance to the beach, with a fully equipped kitchen, washer & dryer. Convenient parking. Offering beach chairs, some games for family nights and all kinds of fun things you can use on vacation. . Could probably use a little more attention when it comes to little things like dishwasher tablets (we only got 1 for the whole week), no dish sponge, etc. nothing major but could have definitely used it. There is an additional 290 resort/cleaning fee, when you’re checking in (as written in the property details) but the condo was not that clean (especially toilet bowls, mirrors - again - probably not something the owners themselves could fix as this is a problem on the resort’s side but for almost 300 you’d think the place is going to be spotless.
This is a great condo in an amazing location in South Kihei! The bedroom has an attached master bathroom and a closet to hang things in. There is also another bathroom with a shower and an in-house washing machine & dryer. The kitchen has what you need to do some cooking, and the living room/dining room is spacious. There is also a nice, big lanai with a beautiful view of the well-landscaped property and a view of the ocean. Sunsets from the yard/lanai were quite lovely. The overall furnishings of the condo are a bit dated and I found the couch to be a little bit uncomfortable, but overall, this was a lovely condo in a really prime location. It is about a 10 minute walk from some local shops, and there is also a bus stop about 3 minutes away. The beach is a minute away, and the attached park is a perfect sanctuary if you want to spend some time outside without all the accoutrements needed for the beach.
Our second time at this property as last time was so wonderful! You get a beautiful view of the ocean, with lovely breezes.
We have stayed in this condo a number of times. We love the location and the grounds. As some have said, there could be some updating, but the owners reflect that in their nightly rate for the condo. As far as value, it's quite good. If you're looking for a unit that has been completely remodeled and has all new stuff, you will pay the price.This place is a good value in a great location in a very nice complex.
Great access to beach, lots of turtles and fish to snorkel with! Some activities at the property like hula dance on Wednesday and Whale talks on Friday. Lots of good places to eat and hike.Property was well stocked, clean and spacious!
Kamaole Sands is a wonderful property. We loved the location of our condo. However, we found that this unit needs some updating. The couch was very worn with fabric having some holes in it. There was a lack of seating as well. We had difficulty connecting to the internet but the staff was very prompt at fixing it. The tv remotes didn't seem to work well with the system. The tv would randomly come on in the middle of the night or it would change channels on its own. The floor seemed dirty. We pulled the couch out to look for something we dropped and there were Cheerios under there which we did not buy. We swept them up as well as many dust bunnies. We did love the unit but needs some tlc.
My family of 5 had a great stay for 12 days at this property. It is exactly as advertised with everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the large lanai with full dining table. Every meal was spent watching the ocean and listening to the waves from Kam III. Being on the ground floor walking out to the large green space was an added bonus. The location of the unit and the view are 10/10. The living room has a sofa bed which my three young kids (4, 7 and 9) had no problem sharing. The grounds of this resort are gorgeous and meticulously maintained. We will 100% come back. Mahalo for a great stay!

This property is beautiful. Very well kept grounds, pool was great, gym was small but very clean and provided exactly what we needed. Location was great, right across the street from beautiful beaches. We will 100% come back.
I have stayed at this resort many times in different units and the grounds and amenities are always beautiful and worth the five stars. There is a high standard for this resort and this one particular unit fell WAY BELOW the bar. This units photos are very outdated (by at least 10 years), the cleanliness was nowhere near standard, there were ant trails from the dishwasher through the cupboards and all across to the lanai along the mirrored wall. The bed mattresses were maybe 6 inches thick and very uncomfortable and the only noticeable upgrade was the shower in the bedroom ensuite. The lanai screen door was broken so we were unable to have the lanai open for any sort of cross breeze and the only lock usable on the front doors was the doorknob as that was all we were given keys for.
We tried to keep our things locked up in our suitcases as best as possible and spent minimal time in the unit. Halfway thru our stay we had a notice that the building was being sprayed for pests but noticed no difference afterwards.
The resort itself is gorgeous and the perfect location, but I would stay clear of this unit as it was very misrepresented and divey.
We stayed over Christmas and had the most wonderful time. The unit has everything you need, with an updated kitchen and bathrooms. Our kids enjoyed the large field in front of the huge lanai. They provided chairs, boogie boards and various beach toys so we needed nothing. The whole property is beautiful and quiet. We stayed at 4 other condos here and this is by far our favourite! We will be back!!!!
