We loved our stay at this condo! My favorite part was enjoying morning coffee on the lanai while watching the turtles right out front. The beach was just steps from the building — perfect for peaceful morning walks and catching the beautiful sunsets in the evening. The condo itself was spotless, tidy, and everything was in perfect working order.Another bonus was the location — easy walking distance to great restaurants right across the street, plus shaved ice for a treat. While the unit doesn’t have AC, opening the sliding doors let in the afternoon breeze, which kept things comfortable. We would definitely love to stay here for our next visit!
What a wonder stay at the Royal Mauian. The home has the perfect west facing lanai for the perfect viewing of the sunsets every night. The rocks beyond the green lawn and swaying palm trees has turtles swimming in the surf - fun to see in the mornings, along with paddle boarders, snorkelers in the morning. The Kihei Cove is very close for surf lessons at Kalama Park. Royal Mauian sits between Kamaole Beach Parks I and II; it’s a very easy walk to the beach. Beautiful roof top patio with grills and tables/chairs. The kitchen is fully equipped; albeit a little tight quarters. The home doesn’t have AC. Being from Texas, this was a concern before our trip; but all concerns were erased. The sea breeze more than adequately kept the place cool. We were very comfortable the entire stay in July. Good WiFi. However, The TVs are not smart TVs, so be sure to bring your adapter to connect your phone or computer to the TV if you want to access your streaming services. The start up essentials were plentiful and very convenient to plug right in and enjoy your stay. There were plenty of towels, beach towels, beach gear, chairs, umbrellas, etc.Great stay, great location, perfect views. Wonderful home.
Great location - Complex is on the water, and very private, even though it is within easy walking distance for shops and restaurants.
This is our second time staying in this unit and it is perfect. We watched the sunset and sea turtles daily from the lanai. The beach and pool are just steps away. Can’t wait to return.
I LOVE the Royal Mauian!! The location is the best on the island!! My only concern with this condo was it was not as clean as I expected. It is requested 'removed shoes' and upon entering the condo we found two pieces of glass on the floor, we then kept our shoes on. The blinds in both bedrooms had not been cleaned in quite some time, a thick layer of dust was 'caked' on them and the beautiful mermaid coffee table was very dusty, also caked on, like the blinds. I still feel the Royal Mauian is the best, but thought you should be aware the cleaning was not at all as expected.
The condo was very nice. Our family of 6 adults fit nicely and comfortably. The balcony overlooking the ocean was my highlight of the trip. Sea turtles surfaced occasionally to say hello. A nice breeze cooled us each evening. Lots of food choices, coffee. Shave ice, groceries, liquor, snorkeling and rental nearby. A great food truck area a few blocks away. Kihei is centrally located so very convenient. Highly recommend!
Amazing location! Turtles right in front. Great food to walk to. Only bummer was no AC but you get use to it fast!
This condo was perfect and exactly as described. The view was phenomenal and the location was perfect (just a few yards from the beach). At night, with the windows open (yes, there are screens) in the master bedroom, the sounds of the ocean just lulled us to sleep. We'll be back.
We had a beautiful Maui experience— beautiful view, comfortable condo, well equipped kitchen, killer beach access (with toys provided), and responsive assistance when needed.
