My wife and I flew to Maui with our 3 sons (age 12-18) for New Year's and this condo in Kihei was a great place to stay. Condo - Great complex with view of the ocean. Allowed for watching sunset from the lanai. Tons of amenities - putting green, shuffleboard, pool, many BBQs, amply parking, activity desk, huge grass area and of course, close access to quiet beach. There are also tons of beach accessories in the unit (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkel gear, etc) which makes things easier than renting.Size - 2 bedrooms with 5 total beds was perfect for our family. Having 2 bathrooms was a plus. Great living space with solid kitchen. Nice Lanai for lounging. Location - Located on the north end of Kihei allowed for access everywhere. Only a few minute drive to the heart of Kihei and many beach options. Only 20 minutes from the airport. Quiet enough location that you have your privacy but still close enough to activities, pool and beach.More - we were able to get an early check-in which allowed us to start the vacation a bit earlier and drop all our luggage off at the condo to enjoy the rest of the afternoon. Huge thanks to Renata for that accommodation.She is a great host and VERY communicative. She provided a list of recommendations (beaches, restaurants, sights, etc) that helped in planning our trip. I would highly recommend this unit.
We enjoyed our time in Maui. It was perfect to wake up each day in such an excellent spot and end the day with a good rest. High recommend.
The property is just fantastic, with everything you need, well beyond my expectation. The owner (not the management) is very nice: messaged me and called me right after my booking with a quick nice conversation. The check-in/out was a bit hiccup. The door code started/stopped working exactly after 4pm and before 11am, respectively. No flexibility at all.
The grounds of Maui Sunset are stunning with something for everyone. The BBQs are cleaned daily and better kept than ours at home! The unit itself was spacious enough for 5 adults, and we made use of the comfortable seating and fantastic views on the lanai. New washer/dryer unit came in handy during our 10-day stay, and the AC was clutch during the heat wave our first few days and at night. Good location--20 minutes from OGG, and close drive to groceries, dining and beaches. However, the location is not particularly walkable as there is no sidewalk on the highway for a while, so you definitely need a car. And we had trouble finding a pot or pan that didn't have worn, scratched non-stick. The cooking utensils also need a refresh. But overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was one of the best accommodations we have ever stayed at. The unit had plenty of room, two full bathrooms, very clean and was affordable. The unit was stocked extremely well. It had everything you would need plus more including dishes, pots and pans, towels, beach chairs and boogie boards. Perfect for families or larger groups. It was awesome.
Condo was prefect for our stay. Great location close to everything. Condo is very well maintained and has everything you need for your stay. The host was exceptionally.

We enjoyed our stay at this property! It was centrally located on the island and was very quiet. The kids enjoyed the pool, shuffle board, and the tennis courts. We appreciated being able to walk to the beach for sunsets and in the morning. It wasnât a great beach for swimming, but that was okay. The lanai was very nice and we spent a lot of time out there. Renata got in touch before our stay. Her information about the property and the island was helpful, especially as we had never been to Maui before. We enjoyed the property and would stay there again.
