Staying at Jennifer's condo at Kihei Bay Surf was so relaxing and exactly as the description and photos depicted on VRBO. The location was close enough to the heart of Kihei but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Being directly across the street from Kalepolepo Beach was so convenient. Having my morning coffee on the lanai every morning with an ocean view was a highlight of this comfortable condo. I highly suggest this condo to anyone who enjoys an ocean view and quick access to the beach. Thank you, Jennifer, for an relaxing time at your property. I will be back!!BradleyVancouver, Canada
We had a great stay. It was the perfect central location to get around Maui. It’s a little noisy being right on the main Kihei road but other than that it’s a perfect place!
I was very satisfied with our stay. Our host was friendly, professional, and quick to respond regarding any of our concerns.
Easy check in. Host gave very clear instructions early on so we had plenty of time to plan and feel confident of things before our trip. We had everything we needed when we arrived. Was clean and exactly as stated.
Great location. Clean well stocked condo. Highly recommend. Saw turtles every day at the fish pond.

Not a bad price. The location was great. Host was responsive, but had issues with the cable one day into my trip until I left. Another issue that was ongoing and mentioned it to the host. Overall, it was okay.
Description failed to mention busy road and works yard directly in front of the unit.
Check-in at 4 PM was a bit later than we would have liked, but overall, this studio had everything we needed for a quick stay on the island. The air conditioner was a nice bonus, and while the space is small, it worked perfectly for us since we spent most of our time out exploring. If you plan to hang out in the room a lot, it might feel a little cramped.The location is fantastic; right across the street from a gorgeous beach and within walking distance of a grocery store and great restaurants. The price was reasonable, and we’d definitely stay here again!

We only had 3 days for our first visit to Maui and were really pleased with the location (close to the beach, humpback whale centre, shops & restaurants) and amenities of the Ocean View Studio. (Got to say - we did not get a chance to try out the pool or BBQ - but would have done so if we had stayed longer). We really appreciated the fans and big windows (did not use the A/C at all). We also made good use of the beach extras (chairs, towels, soft cooler). One negative was that we didn't realize that the road in front of the suite was the main drag for the "Kihei Strip" - We found that the traffic noise was quite noticeable (with doors and windows open). Otherwise the suite was clean and comfortable and made a good base camp for our short expedition.
Great location and great place for a couple. It’s as described. Right across the street from the beach offering superb sunsets. Comfy place that’s well stocked with spices, tp, paper towels - all the things you usually have to buy at a VRBO. We never got a location from VRBO (no “here are you keys” email), but the host replied immediately upon our message. I would definitely stay here again!
Nice property with good parking, pool, and hot tub. Convenient location, beach adjacent. The only downside is that the unit faces directly onto Kihei Road, the busy highway leading into Kihei. This made for continuous traffic noise making it hard to enjoy the balcony.
It was a very peaceful, clean, and convenient. Local to bars, restaurants, beaches with surf lessons, and beautiful views.

Very nice complex. Clean and close to everything. Owner really went out of her way to help me out when my flight was canceled and I could have been homeless for 2 nights. Would definitely stay here again!

Unit and location felt authentic and good value
The pros: The location and building were great. The apartment did have all the household items that were needed and the beach chairs were helpful.
The cons: The inside of the apartment was old, dated and appeared somewhat dirty. It was an extremely small apartment that would be suitable for maximum 2 adults as using the pullout couch or inflatable mattress would make it extremely challenging to move around the apartment. The cost of this apartment was overall too high for what you get.

Lovely unit. Steps from the beach. Great pool, very big, very clean. I loved how quiet the area was and we often had the BBQ and pool to ourselves. Parking was iffy, and I wasn't a huge fan of having to park head first only. But no big deal really. Plus the folks who started there before us clearly didn't rinse any of the communal beach gear like it asks you to, so we chose not to use it since it was full of sand. But again, no big deal. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee or evening sunsets. Jennifer was extremely communicative and accommodating :)
I would never recommend this place to anyone. It is on an extremely busy street and the deck overlooks said busy street. It is so incredibly noisy and miserable. I didn’t feel like it was clean at all. I don’t know, maybe my standards of clean are different but it felt dingy and girth to me. I actually wanted to cry when we arrived. I’m so thankful that we are only here 1 night or I can honestly say my trip would have been ruined. Do yourself a favor and keep looking for another property to stay at. This one is gross, loud & completely miserable.
