The location of this property is great! The beach is just a short walk away and you can watch the sunset at night from the lanai or walk down for a better view. The grocery store is just on the other side of the parking lot so less than a 5 minute walk. We were able to walk to the shopping center area right around the corner for a variety of restaurant options and a drug store for additional items not purchased at the grocery store. Convenient location to get to all the great things to do on Maui.
My group was traveling to Maui for a church conference. Besides my preteen daughter and myself, our party consisted of a dear friend in her 70’s as well as a husband and wife we work with. I was so thankful for the prime location and layout of this condo! It afforded a private area and bathroom for the married couple upstairs, a huge couch bed for my daughter and separate beds for my older friend and myself. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves as often as we wanted. The beach is visible from the lanai (& only a 2-minute walk). It’s great for sunrises, sunsets, swimming, walking and fishing. My daughter loved the pool option, especially in the evenings. With the windows open, this condo is cooled by the trade winds. On stuffy days, we ran the timed air-conditioning once and the fans kept it comfortable. This is an older condo, but it made us feel at home and afforded a prime location to our church, local restaurants and shops!
When we book a VRBO, we tend to desire a place based on location close but far enough away from "the tourist traps". This has it. Hidden Beach (great sand across the not at all busy street), grocery store down the street, not in the hub of all the crazy tourist areas, but all of the "things" in minutes drive away. Traveled with kids (ages 11, 10 and 7) and husband and I. There was enough room to spread out and it had all the amenities to cook our food at the condo to save for other activities. Kids loved the pool, we utilized the grill for a few meals, and were happy to have a clean safe space to sleep at night. Owner was quick to respond to a few questions we had during our stay, also. Thanks for the rental!
Our family really enjoyed this condo at Kihei Garden Estates. There was plenty of comfortable furniture. The beds were good and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook some meals or snacks. The pool and hot tub were really nice and the location was perfect for beaches and restaurants. The lanai also had a view of the ocean.
We were so pleased with our stay at this perfect Maui condo! The bright and cheery decor, the 3 different, roomy sleeping areas, the comfy bedding & mattresses, the plentiful fans and effective AC unit, the prompt responses from Gerald the owner, the short 1 minute walk to the beach and grocery store, we loved it all!!!
This is a great location in Kihei, very close to very good walking beach, the accommodations are very comfortable, shopping and restaurants within walking distance. No crazy resort fees and no hustle and bustle of the town which was perfect for us.
This property is very conveniently located...beach in one direction and grocery store in the other...good restaurants also in walking distance. Gerald and Sandy made the process of check-in/arrival very easy, and the property is clean, has a nice pool/hot tub, and conveniently located coin-operated laundry. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience! And, there is the added bonus of seeing sea turtles right on the beach later in the day...how exciting!

A short, 2 minute walk from your front door to the amazing beach. Comfortable beds. Plenty of room for our family (4 boys) of 6. Views from the lanai are perfect (watch the whales in the water no problem) as well as watching the clouds on Haleakalā!
Nice cross breeze thru the unit keeps it comfortable inside, while additional fans help out if needed. Plenty of water pressure and warm water to go around. Washer and dryer are at the bottom of the stairs to the unit (separate room) and worked well. Community pool and hot tub were great temps and a short walk across the manicured grounds. Parking to your unit is a short walk as well.
Communication with Gerald was easy and always had a quick reply. Have already told him the wife and I would be coming back in the future to stay here. We love Kihei and with this location, a short walk or drive and you can be to all the great spots the area has to offer!
If you are debating between a few places, STAY HERE!
Staying here at this condo was such an ease of relief for me as a mom of 4. It’s truly hard to find a place that houses a family of 6. And this place was PREFECT! My kids& I truly loved the feeling, space & destination/location. It was so easy for us to walk next door to get snacks. Convenient location near our event the husband needed to attend. Restaurants & the best food in town was near. My kids enjoyed the Maui Aquarium. We drove & spended thee afternoon On Haleakala. Drove to Lahaina. A weekend here was not enough. Already planning on visits Maui again & staying at this exact Condo AGAIN💗

We had a great stay and wished we could have stayed longer! Very homey condo and the grounds were beautiful! The location was amazing and just a few short steps to the beach for nightly sunsets!
This property was perfect for us. My favorite part is the location to the beach. We went every night to watch the sunset. Then we came back at about 8:00 and walked the beach and found many sea turtles. The condo is a great location.
We found the shared items very useful: beach chairs, ice chest. Snorkel gear. The kitchen had everything we needed for any meals we ate there. I also loved the decor. It was bright and cheery!
Our stay was wonderful. We were so close to the beach and could easily walk. The kitchen was lovely and the dishes were fun. We had our groceries delivered. Our entire family relaxed in heaven! We even enjoyed yoga on the beach. Highly recommend.
When we first arrived, we were a bit nervous about the super warm house and the one wall A/C unit on a two hour timer, but once we opened up all the windows and turned on the fans, the ocean breeze was amazing! No need to use the A/C. The condo had everything we needed. It’s steps away from the beach and pool. Loved it!
