We've stayed at Papakea for over 35 years. The grounds and property are always well maintained. This unit has been beautifully updated, decorated and outfitted...thank you to the owners for their thoughtful presentation. We will be back.

We love Papakea and this was perfect for our family. There is Lot of space and the ocean view is so beautiful. The upstairs Haida bed could use a new mattress. You can feel the springs when you lie on it.

Stayed here with friends for the few days we were in Maui. We loved it. Whales breached off shore everyday and we watched from our deck and the shoreline. Loved sitting out by the pool and enjoying the trade wings in the evening. And just a quick walk next door on the beach for island cocktails!

The facility provided everything we needed. We really appreciated the little bit of seasonings, foil and saran as well which many condos take out these leftover items. The cooler bag to pack lunches was very handy with the ice block. Boogie boards came in handy,so fun! The facility had a luggage trolley which was awesome to save so many trips up to the room when we got there with luggage amd groceries. We would definitely stay there again.

Papakea L407 - we've stayed in this unit several times previously - can not beat the view, which are simply amazing. Unit needs some updates. Appliances could stand upgrade. TV in bedroom does not work. Cooking tools barely adequate - no cookie sheet. Great window & slider up-date! Would not take much to make this a "10".
