Great place with a ocean view and close to several beaches.
We arrived to a very well kept property. The condo was very clean. Loved having a welcome package with al the Hawaiian fare. Linens were very nice! Towels were very soft & fluffy. Beds were very comfortable including the hideaway couch. We were so amazed by having everything there for our family for snorkelling, body boarding, and the beach, including coolers for lunches. The fridge ice maker works fast which was wonderful. The AC at night in the rooms was very nice since our week there in August was very humid. By opening the front door and the Lanai’s doors though you could get a very nice breeze through the living room. The staff were so quick to respond with any questions. We were also so grateful to get a late checkout the day we left. The view of the ocean was Beautiful. There is some construction going on right out front of the property but we were mostly gone during the days so it was fine. Check in was so easy with the key codes and our family really enjoyed the very clean refreshing pool. Our two teenage boys enjoyed the pickle ball/tennis courts too. Thank you for an amazing 8 days.
Was a wonderful time at a great spot. Hospitality was good and couldn't ask for better area! Was relaxing to walk out to the sights and sounds of the waves every morning, not to mention the cooling breeze. It felt like we were in our own house with no neighbors around so definitely would go back again!
This condo was perfect for what our family needed! It was in a lovely complex right on the walking path on the ocean which connects to a few different beaches. It is super close to everything in Poipu - beaches, restaurants, and shopping. The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked great. The living room stayed cool and breezy with the doors open and screens closed. The property manager was very responsive to anything we needed. Thanks for a great vacation!
We were quite disappointed with the quality of this condo. The portable airconditioners were antiquated and required frequent attention to keeping them running correctly. Also the furnishings and carpet could use updating. Definitely would not recommend to return.
We enjoyed our condo and the view. We would stay here again.

The condo was a great size for my family. The property manager responded quickly to any questions we had. The beds were comfortable and the sunrises were beautiful! The condo had all of the essentials including a variety of beach gear that we made use of at nearby Poipu Beach. It was easy to get to other parts of the island from our location. We really enjoyed our time here!
Great location and easy quick drive to restaurants and shops. Walked to poipu beach a couple times and enjoyed the trail to shipwreck beach. Place is great. AC was great to have at night in the bedrooms.

We had the best trip. Enjoyed watching whales spout and breach from the upstairs bedroom and outdoor lanai. Perfect condo for traveling with family. Our 5 year old granddaughter loved the pool and I enjoyed walking along the coast with the trail right out our door. Location was perfect for walking to the beach and we appreciated the variety of beach toys, chairs, etc. condo was well stocked and host was easy to reach and very responsive
Everything was very good except the noise from construction 9 to 3. Thank you for an excellent home away from home!

Loved our weeklong stay at this condo with breathtaking views of the ocean from the patio, living room and the master bedroom. The trail right next to the property goes past the lava rocks, and the two beaches nearby (Poipu and Shipwreck) are both walking distance. We would love to come back and stay here again. The property owners/managers were very responsive to queries and requests and a pleasure to deal with.
Overall location fine, a bit more of a walk to town than thought. A/C is two ground units one in each bedroom, the one in the master bedroom failed while there, kept windows and slider open for breeze, the construction next door made the dust hard to keep in check.
Old, but very nice property. We didn’t have any communication with our host, but that was because we didn’t need any. The sunsets from the complex were outstanding. We had to walk to a little area in the complex to see them, but it was over by the pool and easily reached. The condo view is to the east. The sunrise would have been beautiful as well, but the clouds didn’t cooperate with us during our stay.
The property is located in a perfect spot next to the lava cliffs and breaking ocean waves. It is near a walking trail along the coast and a short walk to Poipu Beach.
The condo is comfortable with access to a swimming pool, tennis court and laundry in the unit.
The condo was fantastic. It was within walking distance of great beaches. We were super thankful for the boogie boards so we didn't have to rent them. Loved having the kitchen especially with Costco 25 minutes away. This was a very nice condo in a great location so I highly recommend!

The location is absolutely fantastic. It’s a short walk to the stunning Poipu Beach, where you can enjoy crystal-clear waters, soft sand, and vibrant marine life. The condo is also conveniently close to local shops, restaurants, and attractions, making it easy to explore the area.
Accommodations:
The condo itself was top-notch. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with a tropical flair. The living area was comfortable, with plenty of seating and a flat-screen TV. The kitchen was well-equipped with modern appliances, making it easy to prepare meals. The bedrooms were cozy with incredibly comfortable beds, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The bathrooms were clean and stocked with towels and toiletries.
Condo worked well for us, Great view from the balcony and main bedroom. Constructions next door of 5, 2 story houses will limit the perfect view of the sunrise and ocean, What a shame
We loved our stay at this property. The location was ideal, right in the heart of Poipu with amazing views. The coast line is spectacular and we enjoyed walking along the coastal trail right behind the condo to see a natural bridge and lots of wild life.
We’ve stayed at Makahuena Point many times. This unit was great. The kitchen was well stocked and they had all beach supplies we needed — beach chairs, towels, boogie boards, snorkel gear, fins, umbrellas. The space was comfortable and had great views. The construction outside of the unit is far away and was not disruptive at all.
The condo is great and mostly as is. The only component that was different is there are homes being constructed in the large field outside of the balcony. There is no longer an uninterrupted view from the balcony. It is still a lovely view and location, but should be aware. The host was very responsive and the location was great!

Beautiful view of the sunrise, whales and great location. The two-story unit allowed quiet for those who wanted to sleep while others were in the kitchen.
There is construction in the lot next door which turned out to be a joy for the toddler to watch. The construction was not too loud and had respectful hours.
My family rented for 4 nights and we were very happy with our stay. The property management were super communicative leading up to check-in, responded to our questions while on site, and made check-out easy. Loved the duplex layout! The entrance to the apartment is on the third floor of a low rise building so you do need to climb a flight of stairs to get to the unit. Everything was clean and there was all the amenities you would expect in the kitchen and bathrooms and laundry room. Pool/hot tub area is small but gets the job done. We saw sunrise from the terrace and just had to go downstairs to the walking path to watch sunset. Very comfortable and spacious!
