The view was amazing, but the condo was not well maintained. It was definitely not what we expected for the price. The double sliding glass door was broken (this was not disclosed). We were able to use one side using some force. The patio chairs were rusted. There were two water leak spots in the guest bedroom closet. The condo had been cleaned but just not properly. The outside of the kitchen cabinets were grimy and so was the face of the refrigerator. There was some mildew in the grout of the shower and the screen in the master bath was covered in thick dust. We had some trouble with the TV so we contacted the property manager who was rude and referred us to the maintenance guy who was actually helpful. We messaged Ken, the property manager, about our concerns but never heard back from him. It doesn't appear he has inspected this property in some time.
Good location as advertised. The unit has a beautiful view of the ocean, sunset, and the adjacent beach. The unit furnishings are deminimus, meaning they are still largely functional, but generally at end of life. Curtains, mattresses, air conditioning, and furniture are not in very good shape and below par for a unit in this price range.The unit is not equipped to sleep 6... the air mattresses are also at end of life, and only one set of linens was available. We had a good stay, and the unit was functional, but ideally the unit furnishings get a makeover soon.
Great unit with amazing views. The short walk in to town was something we looked forward to every day. We enjoyed out early mornings on the deck drinking coffee. We would stay again.
Does need a little TLC. The microwave did not work. The AC had a leaking problem so the deck was all wet. We texted the owner and got that fixed, but not the microwave. Due to the salt air, the sliding door was extremely hard to open and close. There is no dresser in the 2nd bedroom, so nowhere to put your clothes. Only half of the closets were available to use. Little problem with ants, but the RAID provided did help. All in all, It was a wonderful trip and I would definintely stay there again.
This condo is situated perfectly. The pool and bbq areas are clean and calm. This is not the place for parties and loud music. The ocean makes the music at all times. Its very family friendly. Loved watching the conch shells be blown at sunset. The lanai has some creature visitors. Watched manya rays and tangs in the water. Would love to return
Ideal spot overlooking a small beach park. Property was exactly as photos advertised. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping, easy underground parking. Only problem was that we wanted to stay longer! We did not give ourselves enough time in Kona after starting our trip on the Hilo side of the island.
Constant wonderful ocean waves. We would stay there again.
This is a very nice property with a superbly supplied kitchen and bathrooms. It had plenty of everything you would need to prepare meals. Beds were comfortable and the lanai was spacious. You couldn't ask for a nicer view. Glorious!
We four adults (all over the age of 67) thoroughly enjoyed the gorgeous view of the rocky beach and surfers from the second floor balcony. The apartment was clean and ready for our arrival. While the listing did NOT specify there was easy access to the public beach (next door to our building) we thought the access from the building might be easier than having to walk out of the building area and access from the street. Our only suggestion regarding the apartment itself would be to provide a floor fan that could be relocated to the end of the hallway (closest to bedrooms) to help draw the air conditioned air from the window unit air conditioner in the front living room into the bedrooms for a cooler night’s sleep. It was a wonderful experience and my hubby and I would definitely stay in this unit again!
You can’t beat the location of this property. Staying right on the shore made this trip special. We did not have to go anywhere to enjoy great views and sunsets, yet many good restaurants (Fletcher’s Kitchen and Huggo’s On The Rocks) are an easy walk, as is town.
Wonderful location with a few updates this property would be amazing. Invest in some new towels, a little more comfortable bed and some actual glass in the condo rather than just plastic.

Wonderful location and facilities - you can’t beat the view! Enjoy the surfers, see the turtles munching in the rocks with your morning coffee on the deck! Crazy sunsets. Great Kona location and easy safe parking. Quick walk to Kona shopping or snorkel beaches etc!
Overall the location was great, amenities were as described. There were some homeless camps nearby, and the property needed a deep cleaning, and minor maintenance. AC did not work in back bedroom for example. View was amazing, and the patio was the preferred location in the house.
We had an excellent experience in this condo. The location is perfect, the amenities of the condo and complex provided any thing we could ask for. It was so nice traveling from North Carolina to arrive and have some of the essentials a family needed. When we return we will stay here again.

We loved it!! The views were beyond amazing. Location was great and the condo was very comfortable.
The condo was nice. Location is great. We love how close it is to everything. It looks partially redone, floors and countertops and bathrooms. The smart tv was a plus for evening downtime. We saw whales and lots of coming and going from the lanai. Unfortunately, the lanai doors barely moved to open and close and we couldn’t get them to lock and the screen would not stay on the track. The floor also needed a good scrub but everything else was clean and tidy.
Just let you know, tv in bedroom has no remote, washer was weird, & sliding glass door were awful!
You simply cannot beat this location. The view from this unit is stunning, parking is convenient and the walk to town is very easy. The kitchen is reasonably updated and the flooring is nice throughout the unit. It's a shame the windows/sliding door/lanai are so filthy, and the furniture in the main bedroom is so poor, as this really does distract from the unit.
Epic oceanfront property!
This was my first time at this Property. Super close to the Main Area to walk to for all kinds of things. The surprise was the sandy beach next door.
Beautiful place to stay. I only have 2 complaints. 1 is the queen bedroom didn't have a dresser so that was disappointing. Second is the beach was very rocky, so not much of a beach to swim. Other then that, the two was amazing and i would come back again.
This is unit has the best location with a corner view of the beach and surf. It is a great location.Close to town restaurants and shopping. It does need a little TLC as being at the beach takes its toll. The pool and jacuzzi are well maintained along with the facility. We did have a bit of a problem with the refrigerator and dryer, however the maintenance contact was handy and took care of the frig.
Everything was great and clean. There were only 2 negatives. One was the ac. It does have ac but only in the living room. There is a fan system that sucks air out of the living room and push that “cooler” air to the bedrooms, but the bedrooms were always at least 10 degrees Fahrenheit warmer. The second was the sliding glass balcony/lani door. It was very difficult to open and close and needs to be repaired. Overall was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.
Really a great unit but it is a filthy mess!! The lanai has a rusted beach buggy in the corner with chairs that no one will ever be able to sit on which is sad because there is a beach right next door! The window cranks have a horrible scale attached to them and the screens have so much dust it is impossible to see through them.If someone does a deep cleaning this unit would be pleasant!
This location is incredible! The condo is older but quite nice. We spent most of the time on the lanai. The view is breathtaking. In the morning the water is so clear you can see many fish (especially the yellow tang) and even turtles.
The only thing I wish I knew before booking is that the beach here has such a strong current and that the shallow rocks are covered with urchins so the locals strongly advised me against swimming or snorkeling at this beach. We did have a car and were able to drive to a great snorkeling spot, but I was hoping to snorkel here. Otherwise, this is exactly as advertised.

PROS: The listing is exactly like it said regarding the view! You are literally right on the ocean! Can’t beat how beautiful it was! Communication with the owner was great and check in was very easy! Great walking distance to the Main Street/Restaurants! The most amazing snorkeling ever, just to the left of the condo!!
CONS:
The condo is VERY outdated! Not just the decor…. Towels, linens, all the finishes, utensils, etc.. There is no central air, only a wall air conditioning in the living room! (It did eventually cool down the unit). Place just needs some major updating and paint! The balcony sliding door is extremely heavy and doesn’t open and shut Properly! Could be very difficult for some to open/shut!
We just got back and loved this rental. Amazing views from everywhere, literally overlooking the point at Honl's beach. Waves were fun out front and it was great to be able to sit and watch my boy get waves directly from the balcony.
It was a great view. Could use updates and a deep cleaning. Glass sliding door was difficult to open.
