Great location right on the water. We saw several whales breaching off in the distance right from the lanai.
We really enjoyed our stay here. A lovely condo right on the water, watching whales breach and spout right from our lanai, walking 20 ft to get into the water and swimming with large sea turtles! What's not to love?

The entire process was very simple. George was very responsive and the unit has an excellent location to take advantage of beautiful views of both Lanai and Molokai. Sunsets were a highlight!

George & Sam’s place is in an amazing location right on the water. You can watch the sunset over the ocean from the couch! We did not have a car and we were able to walk to the grocery store and some restaurants (including one from DDD). The outside property is well maintained, including the pool, grills, and yard. We were able to watch sea turtles in the ocean as we sat down by the beach - very cool!
The actual condo is nice, though not exactly ideal for an XL person ( the kitchen and bathroom are a bit narrow/tight) but doable for the timeframe we were there - 5 nights. The unit had pretty much everything we needed including spices and aluminum foil. There was exactly 2 bath towels and 2 beach towels so we ended up washing them each night, which was fine as laundry was available in the unit, including detergent.
The description says “air conditioning” which is technically correct on that there is a small unit in the bedroom. Air conditioning is really not needed as there is an amazing breeze if you keep the sliders open at the same time as bedroom windows. The only time this was an issue was as bedtime (people walking by the unit can see into the bedroom) or if we left the unit as we were not comfortable leaving the sliders open and the screens did not lock. One “nice to have” would have been an umbrella to protect from the sun while on the property or beach.
Would I stay there again? For sure!

It was so wonderful having meals on the patio just a few steps from the ocean. Sunsets look different every night. Great home base as we traveled the island. Thanks for sharing your little slice of heaven.
While this is in a multi-unit condo building, you almost feel like you’re in a single family home. It’s that serene, relaxing and quiet. We woke before dawn every day to enjoy coffee on the lanai, listen to the birds and get the most of each day. The location feels very safe, is convenient to shops and has parking. The manager Allyn was available to handle anything. Washer and dryer in the unit (and additional ones in the breezeway) meant we packed more clothes than we needed. Drive around, shop, explore. Go to different beaches, then snorkel right here and see turtles, tangs, and more. We hope to find availability again soon. We are sold.
Great experience with snorkeling right in front of property. Turtles cane up on the beach every day.

Great snorkeling right outside the steps, place is nice and convenient to get to, parking is a little tight, but it comes with an assigned spot. Had a great relaxing trip!
The condo has been updated and is appealing to the eye. The kitchen is a bit tight but is attributed to an oversized refrigerator, otherwise it had everything we needed.
We snorkeled right off the front of the property and were delighted to find a few of the fish species and it was pretty much guarantee to find a few turtles.
Property is amazing and the sunsets were stunning! Highly recommend!
Our 6 day stay at George’s Hoyochi Nikko “My Maui Palace” was the perfect post-pandemic vacation. We were fortunate to find a week available at Hoyochi Nikko as it seems that others have discovered this secret spot in paradise. The beautifully decorated living room of George’s condo opens to a private patio overlooking the manicured lawns, the turquoise blue swimming pool and the ocean. We relaxed each day to the sights and sounds of the Hawaiian surf and tropical birds. The condo was immaculate and well-organized and contained everything we needed for our stay. After a restful nights sleep in the comfortable bed, we made our own Maui coffee every morning and sipped it as we sat in comfortable lawn chairs at the edge of the peaceful garden looking out to the sea in the Hoyochi Nikko cove, hoping to see a turtle or a whale. This was our first vacation in three years and George’s Hoyochi Nikko place in paradise was the perfect place for contemplative relaxation and to take in the beauty of Maui. George was immediately responsive when we had a question. The on-site manager cares for the beautiful lawns, gardens and pool each day and they are perfect. George’s My Maui Palace truly feels like a home away from home. We look forward to coming again! Thank you George!
This is the most relaxing place we have stayed on island. Views we amazing and we had everything we needed. Many times we would be the only ones on the lawn. Never did we have trouble finding a lounge chair. Many rainbows, turtles and a few whales. We will return!
Lovely condo and complex with beautiful views of the ocean and whales. The most comfortable bed ever! Great layout , well appointed, convenient location.
The unit and grounds were perfect for a desired quiet and convenient time. The lanai views were amazing and morning coffee and breakfast could not have been better. The kitchen was small but well equipped with everything you could need. We would love to come back to this property.
Perfect setting and view and location! The AC in the bedroom was a little weak and Didn’t have a direct line to the property keener prior to arriving. Quick and thorough response to any issues we did have!
Condo was perfect for 2 of us. Has everything you would need. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and we were able to see whales right from our lanai.

Beautiful property, really enjoyed our stay!
This is definitely a property we would consider staying at again. The views were amazing. We spent countless hours just sitting on the lanai watching the water.
We loved our stay at Sam’s condo. It is beautifully decorated, clean, and steps from the pool and ocean. You can enjoy the sunsets from the lanai, and we spotted whales on several occasions. Can’t wait to come back and stay here!
Clean, well stocked condo with great neighbors. Turtles and plenty of fish right off own beach. Quiet neighborhood. Will stay here again.
We always love staying at hoyochi Nikko, and Sam and George’s condo was one of the nicest we’ve stayed at in the complex. Clean, has all amenities you would need. Kitchen is stocked with pans+utensils and Tupperware to pack your beach cooler. Would definitely recommend for any couple! Thank you Sam and George!

This condo building came highly recommended by a friend, but we did not know what a treat this specific unit was. The first floor location means you have a nice large patio to eat meals on looking out at the ocean and easy access to the pool. It is as beautiful as advertised.
