The spacious 770 sq/ft covered lanai offers a wonderful outdoor living space with ceiling fans, upscale furniture, outdoor rugs, shades, and lighting. Relax with a glass of wine and pupu's on the bar height teak table with swivel chairs. Read a book, take a snooze, or you might not be able to take your eyes off the ocean view from the comfy plush couch, and comfortable loungers. During whale season, December through April, watch the whales breach, frolic, and swim along the South Maui coastline.
The interior space is 1100 sq/ft and includes a great room, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. With an open concept design, the living, dining, and kitchen area features air conditioning, queen sofa bed, a 65" flat screen Samsung 4K Smart TV, Bose Home Speaker, and BlueRay DVD player. High speed internet with Dual Band Mesh Wifi.
Everything is provided for an amazing meal including a new Char-Broil Commercial outdoor infrared grill with side burner - stocked with grill accessories, cookware, coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, ice maker, water filtration system, and more. Put a steak on the grill, sit back, relax, and enjoy the captivating ocean views and awe-inspiring sunsets.
The generous primary suite enjoys the view and direct access to the lanai through sliding doors. You'll have your best dreams in the luxury Ritz-Carlton plush-top king bed made with the finest materials, along with luxury sheets created with soft, pure cotton. Across the way is a Samsung Smart TV and an alcove with lap top friendly work space as well as plenty of shelving to put your gear. Step into the en suite bathroom with two sinks, huge modern walk-in shower, complimentary Alba Botanical bath products, and abundant luxury plush towels woven of soft, pure cotton.
On the other side of the Ohana, you'll find the second bedroom which enjoys a view to the North and Maalaea Bay. Melt into the luxury plush-top Ritz-Carlton queen bed with just the right balance of comfort, support and optimal temperature management. With pure, soft cotton sheets, you'll have your best sleep. A Samsung Smart TV is directly across the bed and you'll have plenty of storage with large closet, chest of drawers, and side tables. The second full bathroom is just off the second bedroom and has a shower/tub, sumptuous towels, and complimentary Alba Botanical bath products.
The home is air conditioned with a very quiet Mitsubishi three zone mini-split system in the great room and bedrooms - but you really won’t need it with the cool nightly breeze off the mountain!
Head to the beach just a few minutes away or explore the island. For your enjoyment, everything is included that you need - beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards, and kid’s sand toys. Keep these in your trunk so they are handy when exploring. Upon return, refresh in the outdoor shower, then enjoy a cool drink as you gaze upon the incredible ocean view and spectacular sunset!

We are located in Maui Meadows which is an eclectic, quiet community just above the Wailea Resorts. We have the sunniest and best weather on the island. The neighborhood is a great place to take a walk or run and browse around, gazing at amazing ocean views. There are many birds whose beautiful songs fill the air.
Within minutes of the Ocean Blue Ohana, numerous local activities await. Beautiful beaches with long stretches of golden sand and crystal-clear waters invite ocean sports of snorkeling, swimming, stand-up paddle-boarding, and scuba. Perhaps you want to just relax with a book on the beach or walk/run the Wailea Beach Path.
Numerous world-famous beautiful golden sand beaches are very close such as Keawakapu Beach, Makena Big Beach, Little Beach, Wailea Beach, Maluaka Beach, Po’Olenalena Beach, Palauea Beach, Secret Beach, and Charley Young Beach.
December through April is whale season in Maui and you will be able to spot them off the coastline breaching, playing and swimming along the coastline.
Fine dining and beach front restaurants are close by. Here are a few – Spagos at the Four Seasons, Ko at the Fairmont at Wailea, Morimoto Maui at the new Andaz Maui and Humble Kitchen at the Wailea Beach Resort.

This place is even better than it looks online. Everything you need is there. There’s lots of little touches all around. The lanai is where we spent a lot of time and it was just beautiful. We could watch the sunset every night from there. The house was immaculate. April and Bob are wonderful hosts. The neighborhood is really nice and convenient to everything. If I ever go back to Maui. I will definitely stay there again.

Our stay was perfect! The views are spectacular; the garden is so restful and beautiful; and the place is spacious and airy. Our hosts couldn’t have been nicer and welcomed us with a beautiful basket of goodies. It was my birthday and they made me feel really special. And you have all the beach equipment you could ever need. We willl definitely be back!

April & Bob are wonderful hosts. They really take care. Everything is so well maintained. Beautiful tropical landscape around the house. Huge Lanai with an incredible view. Quiet residential area, yet very close to fantastic beaches. We liked the area of Weilea very much, because it was not so crowded (in August).
We will come back :-)

April & Bob are wonderful hosts. They really take care. Everything is so well maintained. Beautiful tropical landscape around the house. Huge Lanai with an incredible view. Quiet residential area, yet very close to fantastic beaches. We liked the area of Weilea very much, because it was not so crowded (in August).

The perfect Maui location and property for our stay!
We were traveling with 2 adults and one 7 year old, with the plan to explore the island a bit with some beach time mixed in. Ocean Blue Ohana was perfect. Easy to get around, everything we needed for our down time, and clean enough to walk around barefoot. If you’ve ever stayed near a beach and constantly felt dirty you know what I mean.
Many beaches were within a quick drive, and access to other parts of the island was great. The view is nothing short of amazing. Everything we needed was at the house, making it easy to make the trip from the Midwest without a ton of luggage. When they say pack light, they aren’t kidding! Coolers, beach gear, chairs, everything you need is right there. April and Bob made it so easy to get settled.
We highly recommend ping pong and checking out the garden, also fantastic parts of the property!
Last note - we spent a night at a lovely resort in Wailea the night before checking into the Ohana, and while it was beautiful, we’d choose the Ohana for location, ease of getting in/out of a car to explore, space to relax…everything. We didn’t miss having a pool enough to think of it, and the 7 year old having his own space was priceless.

Morning coffee on the deck. Cool, gentle breeze, and the chatter of birds in the neighborhood. While the Spotted Doves are everywhere, we also identified Northern Cardinal, Gray Francolin, House Finch and the Common Myna. A pair of colorful Java Sparrows visited us every day.
Outdoor dining becomes an event, and the sunset is breathtaking!
April and Bob have created a magical retreat in a tropical paradise. Living on the floor above, they are friendly, accessible hosts.
We hope to return next year.

What a fantastic property, wow. Everything on this property is built/done with great love to the details and it is more than true to form with the pictures and the description. A bonus is the wonderful landscaping around the property into which Bob & April are investing a lot of energy and effort, almost on a daily basis. And have we talked about the view yet? We've spent 5 weeks here and the view incl. the golden sunset never got old, just breathtaking. Wailea is a top destination with the most beautiful beaches on the island. We saw sea turtles almost every day, again wow. And Bob & April, you could not ask for better hosts. They work hard in order to make your experience "vacation only", and another wow here, many thanks. Whenever we had an issue or just a question they were right there. We would stay anytime again in this beautiful location in paradise. Nicole & Serge
