My family had a great time staying at Greg's place in Hauula. It was a perfect location with the loveliest beach down the lane. Just a short drive (or walk) to Halela Beach with the softest sand and access to shade and a grassy park made for fun beach days. A short walk south and there were some fun snorkel spots at the end of the beach. The house had air conditioning, comfy beds and ample space for my family of 5. My youngest two slept on the two futons in the living room which weren't the comfiest, but they didn't complain. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking equipment.You are so close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and Hukilau market (which was so much fun-one of my children said it felt like Disneyland). You are right off the Kam Highway, but it was surprisingly quiet inside especially if you had the fan running and we all slept really well. The outdoor shower and washer/dryer were VERY useful. Overall, we loved the location, close to Honolulu and the super busy north shore towns and beaches but in Hauula it was quieter and a little less "touristy" feeling.
We stayed in this home as a family with my 3 boys, myself, and my mother. With the fold out beds in the living room, there was enough room for everyone to sleep. The air conditioning was a great touch, and the yard outside was fantastic. We loved eating our meals outside, and the kids loved lounging in the hammock chair. We had a few issues like the oven not working for our Easter dinner, the toilet not filling so that it could flush, and the bathroom sink not draining, but all issues were addressed as promptly as possible and very professionally. Would highly recommend this home.

We loved our stay here. The host made every effort to correct some issues. Great for a family with the quietest beach so close with provided toys, towels and chairs. However, the upstairs unit is so loud, not their fault just didn’t realize how loud having people upstairs would be and hard to sleep. Overall it was a great 8 days close to all the activities to play and chill in north shore. Thank you for our stay !
Loved the location! Really more comfortable for 2 couples. The home was clean. The kitchen was large for gatherings.
The property was easy access by car to all North Shore has to offer. Beach access was private. Our son has lived in Mililani for a year. He was able to direct us to all the places we shouldn't miss. Amazing!!
This house was fabulous! It has everything you need and it’s location is fabulous. It was nice to be able to walk to the beach. You have a short drive to Laie where there is Foodland to buy groceries and fun places to eat or you can continue a little further to Kahuku where you have many delicious food trucks to choose from.
We eat a lot at the house. There is a BBQ out on the back porch. There is a nice stove top and oven as well.
The house itself was clean. Each room has its own AC unit. The beds were super comfortable. It could use some new pillows.
You can pack light as you have access to a washer and dryer out on the back porch.
There are boogie boards, coolers and beach chairs available.
We would definitely stay here again.
The property was great. It was clean, well kept and stocked. The beach is nice and access is easy. The neighborhood cats kept my daughter busy and entrained. The wifi was good and fast. The house had lots of snorkeling gear, boogie boards, beach chairs and coolers. The really only negative was the busy road noise. The property is directly located on the road and VERY noisy. The house was well equipped with ductless A/C in both bedrooms and living room and kitchen/dining area, so with the windows closed the noise wasn't that bad. The water heater was also on a timer that shut off at 10:30am (ish) and back on at 3pm or so, which was challenging at times. We enjoyed our time at this house and basically used it as a sleeping place as we visited family nearby.
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this house. The property was perfect for our family of 4 (although it could easily accommodate several more people). The large kitchen was amazing, the bedrooms were spacious, everything was very clean and well stocked. We loved the outdoor space and the quick walk to the beach. With the windows closed and A/C on the road noise was not an issue. We very much appreciated the location of this home and the quick access to so many of the sites we wanted to see. We'd definitely stay here again!
