We loved the little house. Very private and secure. We never even locked the door. It’s felt like we lived there. We would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is a great home base and so close to many beautiful beaches. The location is quiet and private. We found the host to be warm, welcoming and quick to respond to our inquiries.

Gorgeous property in the North Shore. Loved waking up to the sounds of all the birds. Kids loved looking for geckos and swinging in the tree swing. If you're looking for a quiet, remote place on the island, this is a good fit.

I almost don’t want to leave this review because I want to keep this gem hidden for myself! Amazing, lush property with fruit trees and the biggest mango tree I’ve seen in my life! The home is so beautifully and comfortably decorated. Beautiful flowers and live plants filled the vases throughout the home. Super clean. A welcome instruction packet was there for us, along with chocolates! The packet included nearby great restaurants and a long list of beaches and fun things to do. The bed was very comfortable (we only stayed in the very back bedroom). Snorkel gear and beach towels were provided, along with laundry detergent to wash your clothes in the back. No A/C but it was not needed, even though we are from the cold and rainy PNW! Lots of fans available and sleeping was very comfortable with the windows open. I think the most important thing is that we felt incredibly safe. We met the local caretaker and she was like an instant close friend. So happy we found this spot. Cannot wait to come back and visit.
We loved this quiet little spot! Property manager very helpful. She even let us pick fruit from her trees. Five min drive from Shark’s Cove. No AC but fans kept it comfortable. Quality mattresses. Even had beach chairs & snorkel gear for our use. Would recommend & would live to stay here again.
The only thing we wish we had done was stay longer. This location was amazing and we really enjoyed the property. The hosts were wonderful as well! Would love to go back.

We stayed here for a week (parents toddler) and loved absolutely everything about it. The host family is lovely (perfect balance of being super helpful and friendly while still giving guests ample privacy), the property is beautiful, and the suite is private, extremely clean, and well appointed. Simply could not ask for anything more and we look forward to coming back next year.

Righteous place and hosts! Beautiful Island style stay, away from the main road yet close to everywhere. Great tips, suggestions and directions from our hosts who are so full of Aloha. A really comfy guest house, fully equipped and very secure. So much better than the pricey resort up the road. We would love to come again!!
Beautiful spot with everything you need for a great stay. We had 5 nights here and really enjoyed staying on the North Shore. This place is a good location to everything out that way. Hosts are amazing, really friendly and very helpful.

Although we only stayed one night, this place was a perfect end to our days in Hawaii. It was calm, beautiful, and the family we met was very kind. Our only complaint is that we didn’t book more days. I would highly recommend this place.

My wife, 2 1/2 year old, and myself enjoyed our stay on the north shore. Mara and the family are wonderful hosts. Beautiful property grounds and a nice space. Our son really enjoyed all the grassy areas to run around as well as the bucket of toys they had at the house. The king size bed was comfy and would recommend as an ideal spot on the north shore. I like trail running so it was great being close to the trails above sunset. The proximity of the place is really great for the Northshore, as you are close to so many great things. Highlights for us would be the Dole plantation train ride with our son, Sharks cove, Elephant Thai food truck, 7 brothers burgers, and the beautiful surrounds of the Puo Pono Paradise. Would strongly recommend.
This place was beyond amazing! The location, the house, the fresh fruit eaten right off the trees…I couldn’t emphasize enough how much we loved it! And even when our rental car had some mechanical quirks, they offered assistance right away! Top notch and we would stay there possibly forever!
The host was super helpful and friendly. Her recommendations for restaurants and beaches were priceless, especially for those who have never been to the north shore. Grocery store (with the best poke!) and beaches with great snorkeling are within a very short drive away. Even though there is no air conditioning, the constant breeze kept the place comfortable all day and night.
This place was PERFECT for my husband and I’s honeymoon! Easy to find, lots to do in the near by area, and great place to stay! Loved being able to walk around the property, grab fresh fruits, and lay out on the hammock listening to the birds in the morning!
My family and I absolutely loved our stay here on the North Shore. The house was clean, private, on a beautiful piece of property and minutes away from many of the North Shore’s best destinations. The hosts were friendly, responsive and made our stay exceptionally welcoming. I would stay here again in a heartbeat and already can’t wait to return. Of all the available rental options on the north shore, this turned out to be the best. Located in a really central location that’s not too far from any of the main snorkelling spots or the town of Haleiwa the location is perfect. Staying above the beach in the rainforest was really beautiful, and being able to find and eat fruit right off the ground was a really nice surprise.
The hosts were very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed.
Next time I’m traveling to the north shore I’ll definitely try to stay here again!

I truly loved staying here with my two young children, 8yrs old and 2yrs old. The open spacious, safe yard with toys and a swing was clutch! Her children are so sweet and friendly my son practically was calling them his cousins.
The location is very ideal with the perfect family friendly beach right down the road.
Full kitchen was ideal for me to maximize our time and money. Grocery store down the road with a coffee shop.
