The house was as described for the most part and was roomy enough for my family of 7. The neighborhood is residential and I assume the HOA type of situation dictated a very long list of rules we needed to abide by, so make sure to read, ask about and understand the things you can and can't do. Also understand the cash only cleaning fee and the pretty high cost for that. I have young, and sometimes loud grandkids and the need for quiet and no toys/floaties etc at the pool was difficult for the kids. Hosts provided good amenities, kitchen tools could be newer and more useful (pans, knives, etc.) Overall no complaints, but I would likely only stay here again with an all-adult group. Location to other things (beach, shopping, etc.) was very good.
Host did us an immense favor by allowing our family early check in. When you’re traveling this far, plans are bound to change and working with a flexible host is invaluable. Many thanks again!

Great place to stay! Comfortable and nice to have a garage. There are beach toys, snorkels, surfboard, and a bike. The only issue is a lot of the snorkels are mismatched and broken as are the surf boards and bike (flat tire and no pump). Time to clean out the garage and replace the old, broken items. The property management guy was responsive and helpful. It would be nice to stock the bathrooms with a few things like a nice bar of soap rather than a mini bar like cheap hotels provide and hand soap rather at the sink rather than watered down dish soap to wash your hands. Overall a great place to stay!

Perfect stay for our first trip to Kauai. The property is very spacious and comfortable, and is perfectly located to a beautiful neighborhood. Communication with the property management team was smooth and clear. Our kids often preferred the pool instead of the beach, which was steps away from the house. We couldn't be happier with our stay. 10 out of 10!
Our family had a great time at this property. The only downside is that they do not have boogie boards at this property. That would have been very helpful for our group!
We stayed at this property for five days. This is the second time we have stayed here and the pool and hot tub are very clean. The house is immaculate. We loved the beach chairs and took them with us daily. The kitchen is fully stocked, and the bedding was very comfortable.
Check in information was texted just before we left and everything was clearly explained. Upon arrival we had further information on check-out procedures, which were very doable and minimal, as well as things to check out on the island during our time there. Our family of 8 (4 couples) all had a space to call our own which was very nice. I especially loved my morning's on our master bedroom lanai, listening to the cheerful sounds of the birds. We found the fridge stocked with some items left from the previous renters, so that was appreciated. When I found the broom was broken, Andrew was quick to replace it. Communication was excellent! The whole family felt safe and comfortable in this home. We also loved hanging out by the pool, which we were very close to (about a 1-2 minute walk). It was well taken care of. The hot tub after a busy day of pool, beach, shopping, or hiking was just the way to end the day! We loved the location and if returning to this beautiful garden Island, we would not hesitate to book the same home again! Mahalo!!
We had an absolutely wonder stay with my family in January. We often stay in Princeville and this home is perfectly located in the center of town. Awesome pool, very spacious home and super clean with tons of amenities! We would definitely stay her again! Owner was extremely accommodating and we greatly appreciate the fast responses when we had questions.

My family and I absolutely loved our time in Kaui in large part to the beautiful accommodations we had. The unit was everything we could have every wanted. From the clean and spacious rooms to the excellent communication with the property manager. We felt as if we were home and look forward to returning.
It was amazing. Clean, well stocked. Decorated in Hawaii style but not overdone. Plenty of room. Quite neighborhood. Response from property manager was quick, shared the information we needed. Lots of beach type items to use.

Nice & spacious, very clean, plenty of space/beds for 5 adults & 2 teens. Abundance of beach toys, chairs, snorkel gear, beach towels & water shoes. A/C worked great. Only minor annoyance was no working ice maker in freezer so we bought bag at Foodland right down the street. Also be mindful of extra cash cleaning fee due upon arrival when figuring in total cost. Would highly recommend & stay again! We loved our first family trip to the islands!
Renters need to be aware when comparing properties that this property does not list cleaning fee in the VRBO pricing details which is against VRBO policy. It is an unfair advantage when comparing properties on total price per night. For a 3 night stay, cash cleaning fee on arrival raised the nightly rate significantly. After I submitted booking request, I received a VRBO email that reservation was confirmed with message from the host embedded in email. I mistakenly thought any cleaning fees were built into nightly rate. Rental agreement was not received via email but does appear in the chat feature which I overlooked. The day before my departure to Hawaii, I received a text w/ "reminder" that cleaning fee was due in cash upon arrival & was sent copy of rental agreement that was acknowledged electronically. I did miss this agreement copy in VRBO chat and since I did not want to be without a place to stay I complied with terms. I didn't understand the need to place cash in garage box within 24 hrs unless someone was going to access the property while we were still there- which made me uncomfortable.
Overall the condo was nice, well-stocked, spacious, and clean. The bed mattress in the hallway alcove was very uncomfortable (thin and metal coils could be felt) so the plan for 13yr old to stay there did not work as she reported immediately and we had to concur. Being a short 3 day stay, we did not utilize the amenities (pool/spa) of condo.
This property had everything you need and more! Comfortable beds, beach towels, fully stocked kitchen, essentials. We loved the snorkel gear, surf boards, boogies-and bikes too! The communication was clear and thorough. The property was clean and incredibly comfortable. We loved the pool after a day at the beach. We can’t wait for our next trip!
We loved this home. Beautifully decorated, huge kitchen, beautiful bedrooms. Lots of space. Air conditioning worked awesome. The one thing I missed was an outdoor dining lanai for our family. There is a dining table on the first floor in the kitchen / living room space. But even though we missed the outdoor table, we loved the home and would return. Thank you!
Our family of 6 included my husband and I, plus older kids ages 16 - 20. The condo is clean, well stocked and much larger than it looks in the pictures. Great location with lots to do within walking distance, including golf, disc golf (which the kids enjoyed), Queen's Bath, turtle cave, and Hideaway beach. Short drive to Hanalei. Would definitely stay here again!

First week, we were a family of 8. 2nd week we we’re down to 6 Found property easily with directions provided and was in a great location in princeville. We were a little concerned about parking as we were limited to only parking in small double garage and 2 compact cars wouldn’t get us and luggage from airport. We rented a dodge mini van and dodge 7 passenger suv. It was a very tight fit but we made it work..(had couple spotters when parking for the night.) property manager responded quickly by text when we had questions. Pool and hot tub(seemed to be having issues with heater on hot tub)were great and had the right amount of shade/sun. Would definitely stay again if we would come as a larger group:)
The home in Kauii is heavenly. There are wonderful beaches near by, as well as some very cute towns. We had a great time
Nice place for 3 generations to relax and enjoy this beautiful island. Pool was great for the grandkids, and complex was quiet at night. Neighbors are friendly, house is well equipped, and beach toys are plentiful. It was the perfect setup and host was easy to communicate with.

This location was perfect for myself, partner, and 3 family members. There was plenty of room for us to have our own space. We enjoyed many meals around the table, relaxing on the lanai, and time at the pool. Princeville, Kilauea, and Hanalei are nearby communities that are fun to explore.
