The setting was perfect right on a snorkeling bay. After we got the main fan to work, everything was great! Would recommend this condo to anyone.
The host simply thought of everything a guest could want. A highlight of my stay was definitely the snorkeling every morning with the many sea turtles, myriad colorful fish, sea urchins and even a small octopus.
We stayed 12 nights in June (2025), and we had the most amazing vacation. The condo is perfectly outfitted for a long-term stay. The kitchen has all the cooking utensils you might need, including a blender and a toaster. Additionally, there are gas grills on the property that you can use. The laundry facilities allowed us to pack light and wash our clothes when needed. The air conditioner in the bedroom is great and keeps the sleeping area cool, but we just kept the windows open during the day, and the condo stayed cool from the breezes blowing through. Additionally, since the owner provides all the snorkeling and beach equipment for two people, it's easy to step out the door and spend some time snorkeling or visiting the nearby beach (which is just 100 feet away). There really is no need to go out on a boat to access snorkel spots, although we did take a SeaMaui cruise one day, and it was awesome; we would recommend this cruise. But we decided that the best snorkeling is in the condo’s own cove (Honokeana Cove). We saw at least two dozen sea turtles, tons of different types of fish, an octopus, and we saw two eels (SO COOL)!The sunsets are magical, and the grounds and pool are perfectly maintained, making this property the perfect hidden gem for a stay in Maui. At sunset, they light the gas tiki torches, and it is so cool. We have already reserved return dates for next summer!
We chose this property so we could snorkel in Honokeana Cove. It did not disappoint. Although the access to the cove is slightly difficult due to a rocky entry, the inconvenience is worth it. The snorkeling is great! The condo itself was clean and comfortable. The owners provided everything needed for a beach vacation. One minor drawback is that our upstairs neighbors sounded like a herd of elephants and the early morning road noise was not great for light sleepers. Oh well, more time spent enjoying outside!
Lovely condo with a priceless view. Beautiful cove showing off sunsets and turtles. Relaxed atmosphere with pristine grounds. The condo was also perfect for 2 people with everything we needed. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you:)

Booked this just for snorkeling. The unit hasn’t been updated since 1993. Air conditioning in bedroom only. Pretty noisy as the windows are louvered, so they don’t really close. Road noise early morning and from the upstairs unit. I’d stay somewhere else in the future and deal with traveling to the snorkel spot.
The view of the cove and the abundance of turtles was so beautiful to enjoy everyday. Such a special place.

Location, location, location! The condo complex is incredible. The views from the condo are fabulous. The grounds are kept immaculate. The condo is dated, but there is no reason to stay inside. The lanai, pool and cove keep you outside. Everyone is extremely friendly. Condo perks are air conditioning in bedroom, new comfortable mattress, new snorkeling equipment,new beach chairs and umbrella. Definitely recommend!!!
Great experience! The cove is a perfect location for snorkeling and swimming. The condo was comfy, especially the new bed. We enjoyed our time there and will try to stay there again when we next visit Maui.
Stayed for our 35th Anniversary , to swim with the turtles and the easy access. Sunsets , turtles, weather, parking , etc. !
We loved the place, it is a little older but had everything we needed. The area if beautiful and the neighbors friendly. It was easy to get to places to eat and things to do.
Loved having coffee in the morning beside the cove and watching the turtles.
We really enjoyed our stay at Honokeana Cove! I was worried about not having A/C but that wasn’t a problem at all for us. We did come in March, so coming in summer might be a different story, but we weren’t too hot at all.
The view from the lanai is simply stunning. The grounds here are beautiful and everything is so peaceful and quiet. We found that the snorkeling in the cove was the best out of the 8 different spots we went to on the island. We swam with 10 different turtles one day! (Giving them their space of course).
We found the bed comfortable, and liked how large the shower was. The only complaint is that the bathroom door sticks and is quite hard to slide to open and close it. The check in process is easy and I loved having a code instead of keeping track of a key.

hi guys. pros....pretty location. old school condo. if you take it for what is it. a great stay. cons. well, no air conditioning, to make it worse amigos/ owner, the ice machine was not working , I had to go buy ice from the store, no beuno. the bbqs are nice, butthey dont get real hot and do not have flames , totally ruined my rib eye . middle of the road. locking gates out front made it difficult to come and go, perhaps you think that adds to the security of the place. really, its maui. it was more of a inconvenience as I was not even given the correct gate code. if you can deal with all that go for it.
