We were so happy with the location but found our unit to be needing some TLC. The right side of the bedroom closet was not rolling. The silverware drawer had lots of crumbs in it. Some expected things the unit should provide are: bath bar soap, beach towels, and clean dish sponges since no dishwasher was there. The dish drainer had leaking issues, so water went on the counter. We bought a sponge to do our dishes with. Also, a bigger living area fan would be nice. The sliding glass door was hard to open and close even when we sprayed it with WD40. The curtains weren't easy to roll back either. The couch didn't look like the picture, and needs side pillows.
The outside was a dream come true staying on the ocean, even saw whale spouts! The grounds were well kept and pretty. The ocean nearby isn’t actually the main ocean. The reef is very far out so you don’t get waves, but it was still pretty. The inside needs ALOT of work and cleaning. It doesn’t have good supplies at all, only a salt and pepper shaker and basic kitchen supplies, that we washed before using . The bed was clean! And the fridge! The cleaning lady I’m afraid needs to be a lot more thorough! I was a cleaning lady for years, so I get that it’s hard work, but it doesn’t do any good to do a half job!
This condo is in a great location with beautifully kept grounds. The unit it’s self could use an update along with a thorough cleaning. We will go back to Moloka’i Shores, but we will not stay in this unit.

The place needs some upgrades, the location and grounds was really nice and convenient.
Great quiet spot to relax. We saw whales spouting across the channel from the lanai. Unit itself had nice updates - tile floor, comfortable furniture, and an interesting information re island from owner - however the cupboards and doors/jambs were grimy from years of fingers opening them. Could use a deep clean and paint. Used coffee mugs put away in cupboard dirty - so some cursory checking between guests would be helpful.
Two adults and a teenager stayed in this unit for one night - basically to shower and sleep. The unit is not air-conditioned which makes it pretty uncomfortable to stay indoors for long during the day in August. It was a clean unit but rather dated in appearance. Location is not a problem.
