The property was really nice. It was comfortable, cozy and we had plenty of room to relax. The kitchen was fully stocked for cooking. We loved our coffee assortment and the spices in the cabinet. 3 things: we didnt get our check in procedures until a little after 4 pm. I contacted the host throughout the day and didn’t hear back. Maybe it was a difference in time zones. But I started feeling we might have issues. Luckily we didn’t and were able to get in the property without any issues. Secondly, we got locked out of the house on the second day. The battery on the key pad was low so it stopped functioning. With that being said, the local contact person was at the house within 30 minutes to change out the batteries and get us back in. And overall she was very friendly, easy to reach and responsive. She even brought us 2 bikes, an air pump and some citronella bracelets for the mosquitos. We appreciated her willingness to help. Loved our bike rides along the shore. Maybe just check the batteries before hand. Third the pool was a little murky; however we still got in and enjoyed having a pool. Lastly, the check out procedures in the binder in the unit stated a check out of 11 am. But the cleaning people showed up right at 10 am. Luckily we were pretty much ready to go, and she gave us some time to pack up. I just share this for consistency in communication.Overall we enjoyed our stay. We made great memories and would rent again if we had the chance.
Check in was easy. Nice to have the shared pool in the front yard all to ourselves. Hot tub was a nice treat. All bedrooms have A/C but there was no A/C in main living area. Nice ocean breeze comes through the patio and large screen doors through the kitchen. Plenty of space to hang out. Thanks for having us.

Awesome property on the beach! My family loved the proximity to shopping, activities and pedestrian path. We can’t wait to stay there again.
We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids) and all fit comfortably. The house has an awesome view and love the walking path and beach right out front. Being here allowed us to easily get to the north or south shore for day adventures.
We had a great time staying here. The beach house was very centrally located to easily walk to the beach, restaurants, grocery stores. You can get anywhere you need without having to fight traffic. The shared pool was great! We stayed a week and didn’t see anyone else ever use it. The house was well stocked with anything you might need. It also had adequate seating for our large group both inside and outside. Caleb resolved any issue we had immediately! He was highly responsive and accommodating. I’d stay here again for sure!

We had a great stay at the property. We had a few problems with the back door getting locked for half a day and unfortunately had to have a locksmith come out to repair the door but Brenda was easy to communicate with. We also did have a smoke detector go off multiple times in the middle of the night which was unfortunate with sleeping babies. I would say the hot tub we were not able to use as it was not very clean and I didn’t want my kids going in with floating debri/biofilm. Overall having the pool and the beach so close was wonderful. The proximity to town was also great.
Couldn't ask for a better location, ocean, beach and a great walking path along the sea. Really enjoyed all of it. The facility met all our needs. Suggest you check the temp on the frig. It was freezing the liquids.
Very well stocked vrbo! Nothing was missing and the thoughtful items available in the house made running to the store for forgotten items not necessary. Location cant be beat! Wake up to gorgeous sunrises and walk the beach every morning.Easy walking distance to cute shops and restaurants

The house was very clean and nicely laid out. It was close to restaurants and beaches. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay.
The location and home was perfect for our group of 4 friends. The pool and hot tub were very well maintained. And just a few steps from the beach. Would 10/10 stay here again.
Amazing property, gracious host, Brenda went out of her way to accommodate us. Made us feel very welcome and even brought us baked goodies from her bakery. A little hiccup with VRBO booking but not the hosts fault.

We had a great stay. This was a great location and was perfect for our family of 7 adults. We enjoyed the pool, jacuzzi and amazing sunrise every morning.
Our family of 7 really enjoyed our stay here. The house was stocked with everything you could imagine! The beach was right outside our backyard and the pool was fun as well! Thank you so much!!
Our family had a wonderful, relaxing holiday at this beach house. The location was great, the view was awesome, and the kids loved the pool! The kitchen was stocked with everything you could need. The only drawback was the cleanliness. All of the dishes and pans could use a fresh cleaning, and the floors need a deep cleaning. Overall, though we were very happy!
Wonderful place to stay in a great location. Very comfortable, well-outfitted house with lots of room to stretch out, great view of the ocean and a nice pool. Sit out on the lanai or inside and get great ocean breezes through the wide screen doors. House located at the beginning of the oceanfront beach walk, made for easy and beautiful early morning walks to Java Kai for coffee.
We really enjoyed our stay and think this was a great location to access the entire island. There were lots of amenities that made our stay even more enjoyable, including beach chairs, a cooler, googles, and a paddle board.
Also, there was plenty of space for the 5 of us to be comfortable and spread out. I really did my research before booking this house and it delivered. I especially appreciated the big well stocked kitchen. Having our 3 twenty something kids we used it a lot! And the open floor plan with the ocean view was incredible. Brenda was lovely and a big thank you to her as well. We really fell in love with Kauai and hope to come back someday. Thank you for the great experience!

This property is amazing. We couldn’t be happier with our choice! There were seven of us in total, and we had the most amazing time. The property is perfectly located at the beginning of the bike path. You can walk to town, rent bikes, swim in the pool or hot tub, or hit the beach.
We have five children that range in age from 7 years old to 13 years old. This house was absolutely perfect for a “free range “situation while we were cleaning up or packing for the beach or hiking, the kids could do their own thing safely with a short distance.
The owner, Caleb, was super responsive. Check in and check out were super smooth.

We celebrated our Father's 80th birthday. Jacuzzi and pool were awesome!
This location is great to see both North and South of the island as it is centrally located on the East coast, near the airport. I find if you stay on the North or South, you may feel a bit limited. With Lihue/Kapaa/etc so close, you have plenty of dining aroud the corner. There are some very easily accessed beaches, or jump in the car to go to some of the more "top 10" beaches within 20-30 minutes.
The host contacted us very kindly during our stay offering assistance. I honestly was enjoying myself so much, I forgot to even reach out.
Also the guide book was surprisingly incredible! It became a running joke with our group of 4 adults
It was nice to do a load of laundry. We caught a couple fish on a charter and had everything to prepare a full meal at the house.
We enjoyed a nice hot tub to decompress at night after hike!
All was clean and easy. A very friendly dog next door came to visit on occasion- big highlight with our crew.

We had a wonderful stay in the very well appointed Kauai Beach house in Kapa’a. The house is in a great central location for seeing Kauai’s sights! We enjoyed the lovely furnishings, the gorgeous view and well stocked kitchen as well.
