This is the second year that we stayed at Menehune Shores but the first time at this unit. Malinee was great to work with. She answered all of our questions and provided all check-in info before our stay. We love this complex because of the location: not far from the airport and close to activities around the island. The complex is family friendly, quiet, and safe. The unit had everything we needed: beach towels, chairs, and kitchen supplies. It is located next to the Humpback Whale National Marine Sanctuary and there is a protected cove where the turtles like to hang out on shore in the evenings. The best feature of the complex is the top floor. It is a deck with grills and picnic tables and provides a 360 degree view of Maui. Great for watching whales and the gorgeous sunsets. We had a great time and would definitely stay here again. Mahalo

Really enjoyed our stay in Kihei at the Menehune Shores Condos. Our place was clean and a great location to the beach and restaurants downtown. It's a corner unit on the second floor so not the best view of the ocean but certainly still one with a partial view which we enjoyed. The amenities were good, beach chairs and towels available as well as kitchen essentials such as paper towels and dish soap. Would definitely stay here again, our family enjoyed it.
The bed in the master bedroom was not stable, would creak and shift with any movement.
On the beach .. restaurant close.. a little road noise … as it is an end unit .. right next to road ..otherwise great ..
We loved the short walk to the beach. Lots of shells on this beach. Kept the kids busy for hours. Recommend water shoes!
The condo was clean and nice enough. The property management was super helpful and a real pleasure to work with. The location of the property was ok. Easy access to everything. We had a good time.
My only wish was that our view of the ocean would have been better. This is a corner unit that is sorta off to the side so the view wasn't as good as it could have been.
I have only one complaint, the condo was right on S Kihei St. and was very loud with the windows open.
This was a wonderful property for our holiday vacation. It was clean and roomy for our family. The rooftop is a great area for watching beautiful Maui sunsets. The property management was helpful and quick to respond to questions that came up. I highly recommend this condo.
Wonderful beach out front and to the side; turtles in fish pond out front - great location; beautiful sunset from the balcony. Kitchen has almost all conceivable equipment. The condo is spacious. Separate air conditioning in each room - a plus! … would book again - mahalo!
The view was great! Had a few problems with the refrigerator and ants but notified the host and she responded quickly
The parking spots were super tight. The unit is an end unit on a very busy street so car noise was nonstop, very loud, especially at night even with windows closed. The elevators are located in the middle of the complex, so being on the end was very inconvenient especially since you needed a key to use the stairwell, which was annoying. Crazy winds rip through this bay everyday like clockwork, I wish I had known this, so dont bother trying to use an umbrella especially during lunchtime. This is probably why the pool area doesn't provide umbrellas either. The bathrooms in the unit were a little run down, and there was some hair when we arrived, but otherwise the unit was ok, nothing spectacular. The indian restaurant located in the complex was amazing, and their view is great also. The little bay beach had turtles in it everyday resting, it was so cute! They should mention this in the description since we were looking for them all over and realized they were right in our back yard! Pool area was nice, except for when the winds started ripping through. The location was ok, close to a lot of shops and food, but nothing was walkable and the road was not safe for biking. Overall it had everything we needed for the price, but would not stay in this area again due to the winds and car noise.
There was still towels in the dryer, no towels on the towel racks, airconditioning in bedroom did not work, TV in bedroom did not work. The deadbolt was taped over with tape with a big sign do not lock deadbolt.
