This was our fourth trip and I have to say delightful as always…Great communication easy check in and out…It’s what you dream about in a vacation home.. such a delightful layout with great gathering spaces inside and out for the family to hang out and everyone gets their own private space as well. Being able to use the Mauna Kea beach is a huge plus for us.The well equipped kitchen makes the stay so pleasant.The whole family loves gathering here and we hope to keep doing so
This was our family’s second visit to 02. We've already made plans to come again next summer! Our family enjoyed the gorgeous salt water pool and used it every day, multiple times a day. The house itself is roomy, well appointed, clean and inviting. We spent many hours on the lanai taking in the beautiful view of the Pacific. A wonderful "plus" is Kathleen Leary, the house manager. She answered our questions and was always ready to help when we needed her. 02 is the perfect setting for a terrific family vacation. We can't wait to return!
2nd visit. Entire family of 8 enjoyed the property! We will be back soon. This is great for kids and adults. The pool is fantastic and proximity to the 2 resorts and beaches and golf is great. Property manager was super helpful. If you’re looking for a relaxing time with great beaches and views. This is it. Also the gated community makes this place super quiet and safe. Aloha!
First of all, let me say the house is in great location! We found it really easy and fast to get to Hapuna, our family's favorite beach.We shopped for food up in Waimea, only 20 minutes away. The house had all the beach equipment necessary including coolers, umbrella, beach chairs, boogie boards, water shoes, and plenty of beach towels.Check in was easy and it was a joy to meet Kathleen, who made us feel welcome and right at home. The house...is gorgeous and extremely well equipped. I like to collect kitchen gadgets and equipment and I must say this house had everything to make gourmet meals a breeze. My daughter-in-law even made Macnut banana bread while there. The kitchen is large with lots of counter space and there's a large dining table to seat 8.We were a multi-generation group and the layout of the bedrooms was perfect. Nice that the house is one story and offers the Ohana suite. Our grown son and his wife made use of the suite, and it offered privacy and a "away room" for them. The swimming pool and hot tub were a great hit with everyone! Beautiful. Especially at sundown. The furnishings were beautiful and top rate. Everyone in our group agreed that this was the best house we've ever rented, and we'd love to come back!
We are so happy that we were able to stay in Gail’s beautiful home! It was even better than we could have ever imagined! The view was gorgeous, and the home was spotless. We definitely hit the jackpot choosing this spot for our very first Hawaii vacation. There were 9 of us, and there was plenty of space for everyone! It was absolutely perfect! We loved being “home” when we stayed here. We had to push ourselves to go do some exploring. The owners:property managers were very generous and provided extras of trash bags,paper towels,dish soap etc…the things you hate to but on vacation. We would love to come back.
Our stay was spectacular! The house was perfect for our multigenerational family. The Ohana Suite is a great feature for those who may not want to rise early with a 2 year old! The house is extremely comfortable and well appointed, with a kitchen that has everything you could ever need. The pool, ocean view, lanai, and lawns are beautiful. The local property manager is fantastic – she facilitated a smooth stay from pre-arrival to departure. The proximity to the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach resorts made beach time really easy – and so much fun. The only downside was having to leave!
We loved our stay @O2 . The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The house is spacious and huge kitchen with 2 islands. There was lots of beach towels and beach stuff. Wonderful place - so close to Hapuna beach with great sand and surf!!
This house was beautiful. Very large comfortable bedrooms with comfortable beds. Gorgeous view of the ocean. Wonderful pool. Extremely well, equipped kitchen. Excellent attention to details. Very clean and well kept.
Another splendid stay at O2. Hosts are a pleasure as is the property manager. We had stayed at a similar villa in Mauna Lani that had a great golf view, but we could not see the ocean. O2 meets all of our needs. Thank you again for a fabulous cold weather escape!
Excellent as always… this is our fifth time to the big island and we’ve stayed here for the last three trips because it’s amazing. Close to the Mauna Kea beach which we use daily along with enjoying sunsets from the patio by the pool.
The 4 bedrooms each with its own bathroom is perfect for us. Everyone gets their own room and gets together in the living room and kitchen. Having your own pool for both early morning and late evening swimming is delightful.
The house and views were stunning. We are a family of 5 adults so we all had plenty of space for everything. Kathleen was very responsive and the house had everything we needed. We took advantage of the Mauna Kea and Hapuna Beach access and snorkeled every morning. We can't wait to return!

This home has it all! The view is breathtaking, the home is comforting, and the memories you make here will last a lifetime. This home has all the necessities you’ll need in the kitchen. It also has items you would need to bring to the beach: chairs, coolers, noodles, boards, some snorkel gear, and beach toys for the young ones.
Communication with property management was easy and they were so nice to work with.
This home is nothing but a 5 star all the way!
We've been here many years and it feels like home. So many memories. It's just perfect for us. Kathleen is the best and responsive if anything comes up... which has been rare. So grateful for another beautiful, restful week at 02.

I wanted to celebrate a milestone birthday with my 3 sisters and spouses. O2 was perfect for my group. We enjoyed preparing meals in the well laid out kitchen, visiting on the lanai, swimming in the pool, etc. Everyone had their own private space to retreat to and the bathrooms were roomy.
I also have to commend the owner and manager for the ample supplies of soap, tissues, paper towels, etc.
Another added feature was the ability to obtain privileges at both the Hapuna Westin and Mauna Kea beach hotel facilities.
Our stay here will be a very fine memory for years to come.
This place is absolutely gorgeous and was wonderful to visit!! They have everything we needed and the best view of sunsets that we have ever seen!! We even tried shuffleboard and enjoyed it!!!! Recommend it without any reservations!!!
Hosts are fabulous as is the property manager. This house never disappoints with a great location, spectacular ocean views, and sunsets that pictures cannot adequately capture.

We traveled with a group of 8 plus a baby and this house was absolutely perfect! So spacious and beautiful. The access to the Mauna Kea and Westin was also such a nice perk as well! The property manager got back to us right away with any questions we had and was so helpful. Will definitely be booking again!

We also paid for use of the Mauna Kea Resort and Westin where umbrellas or towels are provided. The house was well equipped with everything you need in the kitchen, a nice Weber propane bbq, first aid kit and more. It was nice having TVs and cable in all the bedrooms, but most of our time was spent outside. Check in and check out were a breeze. The property managers were super friendly and helpful. This home is amazing, from the house itself, to the pool, to the location, to the incredible 180-degree views of the sunset over the west coast of the island!! I literally teared up the first time I walked into the living room, knowing that I had chosen the perfect house for our first Hawaii family vacation! The pictures do not do it justice. The house was spotless when we arrived. It had everything we needed including linens, paper products, and laundry detergent, along with lots of spices and cooking supplies. The kitchen was the largest and best one I've ever seen. There was snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach coolers. And the on-island concierge was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. All 9 of us LOVED staying here!! It was so hard to pack up and leave!! We would all recommend this house for the best family vacation ever!! Thank you for sharing your home with us!!
Walking into this beautiful home, we gazed at the inviting infinity pool with the gorgeous Pacific in the distance. Our jaws dropped! Spectacular! The house is well equipped and expansive. It worked perfectly for our family of 10, ages 7 to 77. Kathleen Leahy, the house manager, had our grocery order already put away when we arrived. She was wonderful—responding immediately to any issue. The beaches of Hapuna and Mauna Kea were really close for swimming and snorkeling. We used the pool and the hot tub every day. Having an outdoor shower meant that we didn’t track in sand. It would be difficult to find a more welcoming or more beautiful place. We hope to be back soon!
