and lifestyle. Stay in our completely furnished 1 bedroom condo that is clean, comfortable and decorated Island Style. The Maui Vista complex is surrounded by 10 acres of lush, tropical gardens. Our vacation condo is located in South Kihei, right across the street from Charlie Young/Kamaole I Beach, that is a gorgeous white sand beach. It's perfect for swimming, snorkeling, or just relaxing.
Our unit is quiet and private, one of the most desirable at Maui Vista. In's in the 2nd building, so it's away from the traffic noise of Kihei Road, yet still very close to the beach. This ground floor unit is easily accessible without having to use stairs/elevator, and since we're on the very end, it's very private. Most units here only provide A/C in the living room, but we also offer it in the bedroom, in addition to 2 ceiling fans. Our condo features a lanai, living/dining area, plus full kitchen. We have a Queen bed in bedroom, plus a very comfortable sofa bed, so we can accommodate up to 4 guests.
We've been coming to Maui for more than 20 years, love it because it offers the best of all the Hawaiian Islands. Don't miss the road to Hana with the beautiful tropical rainforests and waterfalls. We recommend the snorkel trip to Molokini, or taking a whale watching boat out of Ma'alaea Harbor. Make sure to visit Paia Town art galleries not to mention the Shops at Wailea for world class shopping.
On a typical day in our condo, you'll wake to to the tropical birds in the garden, enjoy some delicious Hawaiian coffee and fresh local fruit on the lanai, while you plan your day. or maybe just relax by the pool.
Local markets, restaurants, parks, and shops are just a short walk, and we are also just a few miles from the exclusive Wailea resorts, famous for golf, shopping and celebrity vacations!
Maui has consistently been voted #1 Island in the world. Kihei is conveniently located 12 miles from the airport, on the sunniest part of the Island. We are close to all the best beaches, shopping and restaurants. Hotels in the area start at $500night, but you can enjoy our condo, and feel totally at home for a lot less!

This is really nice location close to Kamaole I beach, shops. Place is nice and clean. Tricia was very responsive. We ask all question in the beginning and we did not have many questions during our stay as everything necessary we got on property.

It was a nice place close to my family. If you're not familiar with the area then it's a great location. It was clean and felt very homey.

We loved our stay at Tricia's condo. The location is fantastic with so many stores, restaurants, and beaches within walking distance. The condo had everything we needed including boogie boards and snorkeling gear.

The condo was clean and well kept with all the amenities for a beach vacation. It’s in an ideal location for quick access to the beach and shopping.

This is a humble but cute little apartment with great location. The kitchen is well stocked, there's beach toys in the cabinet, and the dual AC is great. While I appreciate the great value, I do think the standard of care need to be increased.
I'm not the pickiest with how clean a space needs to be, but the rental was definitely not cleaned appropriately before our arrival. There was dirt, leaves, and dead bugs all over the floor throughout, and heavily accumulated behind the doors. The quilt and shams were noticeably dirty and hasn't been washed recently. The shower and adjacent cabinet had spiders, with lots of old dead bugs. The walls in the bedroom were dingy and grimy. The turnover clean needs to be improved and the full place needs a deep clean + repaint. We had to vacuum the entire place upon arrival and change the blanket on the bed. This is poor service, even for the low price, especially with the additional cleaning fee charged.
If you're looking for a cheap place to stay with a family, this could be a good fit. Especially if newer reviews show the cleaning has improved. But I have to warn for those with allergies: my sinuses acted up every time we came back to the apartment. Not sure if from mold, dust, bugs, or what. I was congested every night, which disappeared when we went outside. So someone with sensitive allergies should not stay here.

We had never stayed at a VRBO in Maui (our first visit actually) and it turned out to be the best spot. Loved the privacy of the end unit with garden area. Words cannot convey how grateful we were to Tricia for accommodating our family last minute with the fires in Maui - something VRBO doesn't offer naturally - but she responded immediately to my desperate plea after our flights were cancelled.
Tricia was SO responsive and kind - checking in to ensure we were comfortable and had all that we need - and how she could help the people of Maui.

Nice place to stay. Convenient 5 minute walk to the beach. Just one negative is the bathroom. The shower is pretty small and we’re not big people; possibly needs updating. Being in the 2nd building, the location is pretty quiet. The geckos were pretty loud though.
