The wife and I have been to Maui before but that was before kids. This time we brought our youngest (19 year old) with us. What a vacation! Credit goes to the wife for planning and scheduling all this fun and memories. We dove, swam, snorkled, hiked, drove, played tennis, luau'd, spelunked, and ate ourselves silly. This was one of the best vacations we have had. So much to do here and Maui Vista was central to it all. The booking was easy and the price was very reasonable. We would definately stay here again.

My husband & 2 teenagers just returned from a. 2 week stay in this unit at Maui Vista (building 2). We had an absolutely fabulous time! This is the 5th time we’ve stayed at Maui Vista as we love the location due to it being a 5 minute walk to the beautiful Charley Young Beach. There are also great pubs, restaurants and grocery stores within a 15 minute walk. Kihei is also a fantastic location on the island being very central to everything.
This unit was one of the best we’ve stayed in & as mentioned, we’ve stayed at Maui Vista 5 times! It is extremely well stocked with dishes, utensils, Ziploc bags, tinfoil, saran wrap, spices and condiments…. so it was very easy to cook. It was well stocked with extra bedding, sand toys, beach chairs, an umbrella, beach matts, coolers and beach towels for us to enjoy, along with cards, board, games, books, etc.
The unit was very clean, and the split zone air conditioning unit was quiet and did a fantastic job of cooling down the unit! My husband actually raved about the AC! With 2 teenagers in the unit, the Wi-Fi needed to be good, and there were no complaints.. except that it didn’t work around the pool!
The owners were very easy to communicate with. We had one small issue while we were there and it was immediately dealt with. We also forgot something in the unit and realized it when we got home. The owners are in the process of helping us get the item back.
The only downside about the Maui Vista complex is that the windows are thin so you hear people talking outside in the hallway. A simple solution is to use white noise when sleeping…but our teenagers were able to sleep through without doing this. We weren’t affected in the upstairs bedroom.
We would highly recommend this unit for the location, cleanliness, open floor plan, and how well stocked it is.

This condo was very nice, clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for our stay.
Super clean, everything you need for going to the beach and playing in the water to cooking a home cooked meal. Easy access to so many good beaches, restaurants, and the best shave ice. Rent your snorkel equipment at maui dive shop next to pizza madness and you'll get great, friendly service and good equipment, it's worth the little extra money. Can't wait to come back!!
Really enjoyed our stay in Kihei. The property worked well for us as two other families we knew stayed in the same complex. Very close walking distance to the beach. Would stay again if air conditioning could be installed upstairs. The master bedroom is upstairs and doesn’t have air conditioning but does have fans. A little warm for us. Finally, the elevators were out for maintenance for half the stay with 4 flights of stairs. It was really good exercise!! The hosts were very nice and checked in on everything during our trip. We enjoyed our week!
Condo needs repairs and upgrading to a little more modern times. Air conditioner sounded like a meat grinder, which was on a timer, so you would have to get up all night to reset it. No cupboard space for food. We cleaned out one drawer to make room for a couple bags of chips. Loft fav is on continuously, if you close the door and get up in the night and go to the bathroom, you are overcome by sewer gas. Definitely not pleasant. This degeneration of the condo has been going on for some time, as witnessed by the yellow scotch tape holding the plastic grill of the air conditioner. Many other problems with this unit, but suffice to say this was the worst condo we stayed in at Maui Vista over the years.
Great condo right across the street from the beach. Condo is equipped with pretty much everything we needed.
Will definitely go back if there were a chance.

Our family (two toddlers and four adults!) had a fabulous stay in this beautiful condo. The 3 minute walk to the beach was our favourite aspect, but we loved pretty much everything about the place - beach accessories, well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds (except the pull out sofa bed...but we never expect much from those), laundry machines, playpen and booster seat. The hosts were friendly and accessible. We'd definitely return next time we are in Maui!
