Place was clean, great location. Host was easy to deal with. Unit was a little older/dated which was fine but still very nice and clean. For the price it exceeded expectations.
The unit is a two minute walk to the beach. The staff were all friendly and answered all our questions. The unit has all the amenities needed. We'll definitely consider returning on our next trip.
We had a great stay at the Maui Vista in this property. Overall it was a great value. We were looking for a place in Kihei after spending a week in Kaanapali and this was nearly half the price. We were meeting up with friends and were looking for a centrally located place off So. Kihei Road. For us a separate bedroom was a must. The property is located in the front of the complex and parking was always easy to find. Last year we stayed in a studio in Kihei and hated it.Only two small negatives - we definitely prefer a king size bed and there is room in the bedroom for one. And the living room carpet is a little tired. :)Overall a great stay and we would definitely stay there again at this great price.

The location of this condo is perfect for going to the beach and getting around Kihei. The property managers, AA Oceanfront Rentals, were very attentive, courteous, and helpful. I would highly recommend them as they did their job well. This condo was listed as “budget” because it was basic. However, the reason I booked this condo was because the cleanliness rating in the reviews was the highest I had found of all the condos that I looked at — even the much higher priced ones. But the cleanliness of the condo needs the owner’s attention. I don’t think it’s much fault of the cleaning staff as they have limited time and resources for the items that need to be corrected. The curtains need to be replaced — they were filthy. Walls need to be scrubbed and painted, carpet was stained, furniture other than the bed need to be replaced. A little investment and TLC will have this condo in ship shape.

We stayed in this unit for 4 weeks starting in mid Feb. and it was pretty much as it was shown in the pictures.
If you are looking for an affordable condo in a good location, this unit is a great choice.
The Maui Vista complex is right in the heart of Kihei! It has tennis and pickleball courts as well as 3 pools. We played pickleball quite often and had a lot of fun. We didn't use the pool very much since it was pretty small and we preferred to go to the beach instead which was just across the street. There are a few really nice beaches within walking distance as well as restaurants and shops. We didn't even rent a car until late in the trip because there was so much close by. There is also a Maui Bus stop close to the Maui Vista that goes all over the island.
The property managers were great to work with. They made check in and check out very easy. Overall, the unit is not luxurious but it is comfortable and I highly recommend it.
Aside from a couple of minor cleaning issues the place was pretty much as described. What was most notable about our stay was the speedy response of AA Oceanfront, the property managers, to correct the cleaning issues and get the landline operating. This also affected the cable TV which also could then function. The support from AA Oceanfront cannot be overstated. There was also a generous supply of toilet paper and dishwasher tabs.
Great location! Have stayed at Maui Vista before and it’s fantastic and close to beaches/restaurants/nightlife! I’ll be back *Terminator Voice*
Easy check in process. In a great part of Kihei, lots within a short walking distance. Property managers were also great to work with when I needed to extend my stay.

- The apartment was not so clean. We saw several cockroaches and there was a lingering smell of bleach in the bathroom. Not too happy with it. Won’t stay there again.
