This property needs major upgrades. Tub, taps not working, carpet stains, needs another chair n living room , bedding’s needs replacing. Only 3 bath towels
Major item missing was umbrella in lanai table, the directions it faces you need umbrella to enjoy lanai. Also misinng 2 patio chairs (these were shown in ad pictures )
We liked the location of this condo but it needs some work .
Carpets and curtains were stained and dirty. Some carpet was missing under the end table. Slats in vertical blinds missing in bedroom.
The condo is in a great location, and communication with the property manager was super easy. Overall the condo is very clean and had everything we needed, however some updates/upgrades would definitely make the unit more desireable. We were here for a short stay and would love to stay again - mahalo for a great visit.
Had no issues wish the email had the check out days in and out in it becUse we stayed other olaces as well and coukd have used the clarity but the stay was amazing
Very happy with the condo. It was what we expected, based on the VRBO description. This is our 4th or 5th stay at Maui Vista. Love the location, pool, and beach access. The unit could stand some updating, but we knew that going in. And then it would have cost more...so we're OK with how it was! This unit has the BEST access to the pool, parking, and Charley Young beach.
We have stayed several times at this complex. It is conveniently located across from Charlie Young Beach. The condo we stayed in was clean and comfortable. I advise future bookers to review all the additional fees added by the owner which show up on the last page before booking. Hawaii has seen a steep increase in the cost of living, so I understand. However, they should replace the missing window slats in the bedroom and check on their patio furniture, which may have been “borrowed” by someone. Overall, I was satisfied and we had a great stay and the condo was true to the advertising. I would stay there again.
Yes it’s a bit old and outdated. But the location is excellent and everything you need is there ….so much better than a hotel! Clever job on the fridge by the way! The only problem we had was a running toilet and maintenance did not respond to us. We just turned the water off and on to deal with it ( you are welcome).
This is my favorite location on Maui. The condo was nice and clean. Probably won’t stay on the ground floor again. The amount of foot traffic makes the condo noisy. Definitely will book here again though.
The condo was nice for just me and my partner. The microwave didn't work and the toilet was non stop running, but everything else was great.
Our condo was very nice, we enjoyed the lanai and easy access to the beach and S Kihei Road. However there was not much privacy, maintenance vehicles would park in front of our patio, bedroom window felt like you were right in the hallway with people walking by. The main issue was the shower water pressure, it was non existent. That is awful when you are going to the beach and want to wash your hair after, not everyone wants to shower in the pool outdoor shower which is cold. Also, not enough hooks in the bathroom to dry towels and bathing suits. Loved that there is a dishwasher and laundry in the unit. If I stayed at this condo complex again, probably would request a more private unit with better water pressure. And, there is a pool, but it is so small, we stayed at a much smaller condo complex with a much larger pool on a different segment of the trip. Staff was very helpful and nice.
