The location and complex was nice. The unit could definitely use some updating for the price. It was fairly clean and adequate for our needs however.
That is the most uncomfortable condo I have ever stayed in. The furniture is from the 80s. The couch is awful, the chairs are awful, the bed is ungodly, awful and built like a brick. My wife and I had to alternate who slept in the bed as it was so bad. the place was dirty was cobwebs everywhere. It is obvious the owners of this condo have put no money into this for years. Recommend you do not stay in Maui vista condo number 3105.
The condo featured basic amenities and could use some updating or a good cleaning. The grounds were well kept. The pool repairs were inconvenient, as we could not use the pool for atleast 3 days! Shannon, the maintenance man, was extremely efficient with our concerns! Mahalo!
The unit was advertised sleeps 4 people. The unit had 2 outside chairs for the patio. 3 bath towels . If that is what they provide it should be advertised for 2 people.
Otherwise, it was standard unit with the bare necessities.
Location of this condo is great being on the 1st floor and within steps to the pool. It is a “No frills” condo. It has not been updated but everything works. My only complaint is the bed was not comfortable.
This was a nice property and location is great. The condo itself needs a bit of love and a really good cleaning. The bed was horrible almost like sleeping on a board.
The location of this condo was great. The condo had everything you needed as long as you were not expecting luxury which the listing makes clear this is not a luxury Condo. The management company’s communication was superb. Would stay again.
Appliances were out dated, mattress was hard and lumpy, furniture was soso, and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. Mahalo.
Complex is ideally located across from Kamaole Beach I and is beautifully kept with lovely gardens, pool, tennis courts, bbqs. Unit is well located on ground floor, close to amenities mentioned and is comfortable. It is a little worn, tired- looking, in need of general maintenance, repair and refurbishment (eg) stained linens, no spring in dishwasher door etc. Management company readily accessible.

We rented this suite for 2 weeks during our stay in Kihei. The suite itself was okay, but really needs a deep cleaning (corners, underneath bed, along baseboards, ceiling fans), some updates for a couple items, and a better stocked kitchen for functionality while staying there. It is conveniently located on the ground floor with lanai facing the grounds and swimming pool nearby. The BBQ area was just steps away from the door of the suite which was handy. Maui Vista is centrally located & near beaches.
The kitchen was clean, but definitely needs to be stocked better with cooking items if visitors expect the kitchen to be functional. The only pot we had was a very small pot that only held 1-2 cups of water - big enough to boil 3 eggs in & that was about it. The fry pans (with no lids) were so greasy on the bottom that when I used them on the glass cook top, it made a big mess on the burners - I tried to clean it off the best I could, but there was nothing to clean the glass cook top either, except for a sponge cleaning pad, which does not clean glass cook top properly when greasy fry pans have been used on it. I also tried to clean the fry pan bottoms, but they were beyond that, so I avoided using them (our friends rented a nicely renovated and well stocked suite in this same building on the ground floor as well - we actually had to borrow a bigger cooking pot & fry pan with lid from them). Good dish cloths, but only 1 tea towel supplied. The dishwasher door slams down when you you open it - this needs to be fixed or replaced. The microwave is old, and you can't read the display numbers half the time when you punch the cook time on it. The fairly new air conditioner had the drain plug in it, so it wasn't draining properly, and cut in more than it needed to when used - my husband actually took the plug out and it drained and worked better after that - proper care will extend the life of this AC unit. The hall closet, which most owners stock with typical beach, pool and lanai items had mostly repair/paint items in it - it did have a vacuum and broom, but no dust pan, so I used a cereal box for dust pan when I swept up.
A little attention to detail and periodic deep cleaning would really improve this suite, along with the above suggestions - it would make this suite a vacation rental that visitors can enjoy.
I am not typically one to complain, but it was disappointing, and for what we paid we should get more than what this suite had to offer
