Property Description

Granite countertops, great views of pool and ocean. Just fantastic location and awesome views of the pool, ocean, palms in the tropical oasis of Maui Sunset. Free WIFI in the condo and at the pool.

Large private condominium apartment at the resort condominium complex on the beach in sunny Kihei, Maui, Hawaii. Main bedroom with private attached bathroom. 2nd bedroom and bathroom down the hall with shower, large living area, dining area, kitchen with breakfast bar. Plus, large private view deck looking out towards ocean. Beach chairs, pool towels, full size appliances including air conditioning and washer dryer. Really, just hit the grocery store and you are set for the week!

General Info:
The Maui Sunset is located on over 5 acres of oceanfront at Kihei which is considered one of the best locations on the Valley Isle. Kihei is noted for its year-round sunshine, balmy trade winds, and soothing evening air. It is one of the driest and sunniest areas on the entire island, averaging only 10 inches a year! World famous swimming and snorkeling beaches are minutes away at one of the many sandy safe beaches at Kihei and nearby Wailea. Just a short distance (6 miles) from five championship 18-hole resort golf courses at Wailea and Makena. The two buildings frame and protect a large recreational area that is carefully attended and landscaped. The 60-foot swimming pool with its broad decks and abundance of pool furniture invites you to improve on your tan.

Very nice complex and swimming pool just outside the room. Plenty of room for everyone. The A/C in the family room was not working properly and we reported it to maintenance, but he couldn’t fix it. We ended up purchasing two fans that we left behind. There was also an any problem in our unit, otherwise overall the trip was great.

Maui Sunset location is great for accessing the island. Condo B216 is nice and close to the pool but not too close to be noisy. Unit was good. Late night check-in was easy. Grounds have an issue with off leash dogs and their deposits on the lawn. Units need a fly swatter as we inherited about 100 of them upon arrival.

We enjoyed the condo. It has a nice view and the resort is pretty quiet and peaceful. It was always easy to find a parking space. The Murphy bed was very convenient. The condo was a comfortable size for 5 adults. The one drawback was the lanai is shaded all the time.

Location was great. Close to some great food places, short distance to most of the excursions we went on. Condo had everything we needed and the amenities were great. We particularly liked the shuffleboard. The view from the balcony was wonderful. The front desk employees were friendly and helpful and the host was very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

My family of 4 stayed here for 7 days. The room (B216) was as described and matched the photos. The room was clean but a little out dated. It lacked many of the amenities we are used to with renting a condo such as proper cooking ware or seasonings/ condiments . There were a few beach chairs and a boogie board but no cooler or bags for a beach trip. The property was incredibly clean and well maintained. It has a large heated pool and hot tub which were very clean. The beach was nice to walk on but not the best for swimming . The location is perfect and a short 5 minute drive to great places to eat. There were many rules for the pool and the night guard was very strict. Some nights the pool /hot tub was closed early and children were not allowed to play with any toys in the pool ( balls, floaties ext.) which is understandable if there are others around but seemed a little strict when it was only our family and another with small children at the pool. We would highly recommend staying here and will stay again the next time we go to Maui.

Nice property and friendly staff, the unit could use some new furniture as the couches were stained. The pool and the beach were great.
