Beautiful view of the pool. Very quiet. Home was very nice. Had a great time. Met new friends. Would love to come back.
The condo was very nice and comfortable, great location. We went kite surfing right off the beach in front of the condo. We would definitely stay there again.
We had a blast at the Maui Sunset! Loved all the amenities and location! The apartment has everything you could possibly need. Only complaint is the ants. They are everywhere, the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room. We couldn’t leave any food out it all had to go in the fridge or in the microwave or it would get ruined by the ants. My little boys couldn’t even eat at the table without them crawling on their plates. Other than that the staff at Kumulani were super kind and helpful!

Having previously booked a unit at this property through Kumulani Vacations (shout out to Wendi and Nathan), I knew this would be an enjoyable and stress-free stay but the location of this unit took it to another level with excellent views of the ocean and pool area, modern furnishings and almost everything we needed already stocked.
This was a great place for 2 couples. The furniture was VERY comfortable, and the resort well maintained and perfect for our needs. Pool area was great. Nice sunset view from the balcony or the beach.
We loved this place although the only downside was tiny tiny bugs in kitchen area / cabinets. They didn’t bother us and were so small that you could barely see them but would see things crawling. I’m passing it’s from others leaving the Lanai door open when air isn’t on. We loved having all appliances and beach stuff available for us to use. We didn’t expect any of that so it was definitely a nice surprise. Our room view was nice which blocked out the wind which was nice on windy days. The beds were super comfortable and overall we would definitely stay here again. This has been our second time at Maui Sunset and definitely love it here.

We loved this location. Nice small pool with shallow end for kids. Hot tub for adults. Huge lawn, shuffleboard, tennis and a putting green. We had a great time and would definitely come back.
Beautiful view & easy check in/ check out process. The condo is newly remodeled & well stocked. We appreciated the beach supplies. (Wagon, chairs, snorkeling gear, umbrella & plenty of beach towels). We watched whales breach off shore from our kitchen. Would stay here again.
Everything was wonderful. Only concern was the number of ants in the kitchen.
This condo was well furnished in a nice location. Great kitchen amenities, comfortable beds, great views, nice pool. It had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, umbrellas, coolers, wagon, snorkeling gear, etc.) The only downside is that the air conditioners are on 4 hour timers so you have to wake up in the middle of the night to turn the air conditioner back on. Overall, we would stay here again.
We enjoyed our stay a lot. The Maui Sunset grounds and Unit 317A and Kumulani Vacations were all great.

My wife and I recently stayed in this condo for a week. This was our second visit to the Maui Sunset and we really love the setting, care of the grounds and loction in Kihei. The unit has a great view and comfortable chairs in the living room. The kitchen had all the appliances etc. that one could want. The beds were comfortable and having air conditioning helped as it was quite hot in Maui during our stay. The only quibbles were that during our visit there seemed to be way more kids than during our first stay and at times going to the pool was not relaxing for us. Secondly this unit is adjacent to the elevator alcove. At times other residents were quite loud and as the bedrooms are right next to this waiting area it was irritating. But overall our unit was clean and things went well. Dealing with the rental agency was super easy.
Nice pool, close to beach and easy to get to every area of the island. Didn’t like having to turn the AC on in the middle of the night as it has a timer in the bedroom.

It doesn’t get much better when looking for a place to stay in Maui. This condo was updated, very clean, had all the amenities for a baby, fully stocked kitchen, beach toys, right on the beach, close to grocery stores and restaurants. We would absolutely stay here again. Communication with the host was great. We ran into an issue with the patio chairs and they were quick to respond. Check-in was seamless. From the time we landed to the moment we picked up keys, we had all the information we needed. Thank you for a wonderful & stress free stay.
Great location, great property, steps away from the beach with lots of activities on the property to do. Would definitely stay here again!
