Amazing views! Great location. Close to elevator. Beach chairs and umbrellas were just what we needed! Highly recommend! We will be back! !
We loved our time at Maui Sunset, the grounds and facilities are immaculate. Great location, easy parking and great view from the lanai. The unit has a well stocked kitchen, however, the unit itself is quite tired and in need of some basic upkeep. It served us well for what we needed but was not cleaned well and felt a bit shabby. Many things need replacing and cleaning - For those reasons I can't quite relate to it as 5 star property, but overall it was adequate and we had a fantastic time!
The one downside I found was that the view of the pool made my kids only want to go to the pool, so it was tough to convince them to go do other things.
Location: good location with good condo amenities: pool & shuffle board. Connected to a public park that has tennis and pickle ball courts and a beach. Beach is sandy but with lots of rocks and makes wading in water quite challenging. This isn’t a great swimming beach, but was nice for sand castles. Sunsets were beautiful. Given the public park there were a couple of homeless folks living out of cars adjacent to the property and the park, but they kept to themselves.Short drive into town with fantastic restaraunts!Overall impression of the property is that it is quite dated. Layout of the condo is good with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Good included amenities provided by management company (soap towels, laundry supplies, trash bags etc,Kitchen was well stocked with appliances and dishes.The lanai is fantastic with great views of the water, palm trees, pool and the ocean. The sunsets are truly gorgeous.Cleanliness of this rental was not great, gave it 3 stars. Lots of dust on lamps and light fixtures. Odd red splatter (like shampoo or hair dye splattered on the hallway bathroom wall) And the kitchen hadn’t been cleaned in a way I’d have expected when arriving. If the management company hired a better quality cleaner and gave it a deeper clean then the property is fined. Perhaps the cleaner used was skipped some steps since checked in around Christmas.Bedroom linens and furniture are dated and it felt like we were staying in the Golden Girls home.

Great location in Kihei! Loved easy access to beach, nice pool with hot tub and several outdoor grills available for use. Condo is as described and was comfortable for 4 adults. The view did not disappoint!
The unit was clean, attractive, and convenient. I would definitely recommend it.
Love the property and the views. Always clean, AC works great. Close to so much. Really appreciated the clothes pods, dishwasher pods, hand soap, garbage bags and sturdy pots and pans. Second year in a row staying in this unit. Will be back!!
We loved Maui Sunset. The condo was exactly as listed. We enjoyed our stay. The kitchen only had salt & pepper and coffee filters. It was fully stocked with all things needed to cook and serve food. Lots of beach chairs. We left some more spices, cooking spray and snorkeling gear for the next group to enjoy. We would definitely stay again.
Very nice views and open living area. Lots of room on the balcony with good mix of furniture on it. It points northwest which is nice as it's mostly shaded from the look late day sun. I would stay here again!
