Very quiet area. Pool was busy but nice. Stores and dining very close. Really nice beach just down the road we went to everyday. Late check in was a bit odd. No real direction on where the unit was. Used the late check in phone and an old security guard came out. Was mad we were bothering him but was helpful in the end. Was scared before the trip because we were not sent info about the unit and codes. No numbers for contact and when you email nobody responds. But great unit and we would probably return.
Nice apartment with a well-stocked kitchen. Lots of great amenities like pool, grills, washer/dryer. Tennis and pickleball are courts very close by. The good beaches are a ways away, however. I do wish the sidewalks on S. Kihei road extended north to the property; walking to/from restaurants and bars is a bit harrowing with all the traffic. Do be sure to read the fine print in the property details. The headline of the listing mentioned free late checkout and a free 6th night, but that was apparently only during certain times of the year. Overall a nice place to stay.
The property is very well maintained, the building and decor are a bit dated but very well kept. We will absolutely book here again. It is in a great location with easy access to everything we wanted to do.
The stay was wonderful, and the location fantastic. A few errors on communication ( no late checkout as advertised ) and stated that we would have coffee for the first morning - there was none.
As a note it would be nice to have plastic wrap and aluminum foil for use.
Came with nice beach chairs, and a large balcony with 4 chairs and a table. The grounds were taken very good care of, the pool and the BBQs were great.
Just steps from the beach and plenty of beautiful daily sunsets.
Great proximity to airport and efficient shuttle service. Parking on site is a great way to go.
We had a great time. Grounds are wonderfully maintained. Staff are friendly.
Nice clean comfortable condo. Property has great pool, hot tub, garden & lawn area. Great for sunsets. Kihei has most economical options for lodging on Maui.

The grounds of Maui Sunset set it apart from the others. We always stay at this complex when visiting. Walk to several good restaurants, coffee shops, etc. The beach in front of the complex is sub-par but unit is a short drive to many beautiful, swimmable beaches in Wailea. The sea turtles come in at dusk which is a treat. Just walk down the beach to the south to see them but stay at least 10' feet away as they are protected!
The condo is clean, well equipped with every thing, you need for your stay. Only I would do to improve the stay would be to get a new bed , it needs to be replaced. Also the TV needs to show the local channels ,TV very confusing how to use. The condo is very nice I would stay there again.
Honeymoon bliss....Beautiful property, perfect for our needs. Everything was as described. bonus was the local sea turtles would beach themselves on the beach at night. what a magical site. We love Mauii, and have found a new favorite location for our next visit.
Easy check in, great communication via email, accurate description. AC should be allowed to go lower than 72 as our who children suffer from seasonal allergies really had issues with stuffy noses during the night (We live on Oahu, so we understand the cost of electricity, however, health and wellbeing come first, especially when it comes to our children). Master shower had zero water pressure; had to use other bathroom shower which worked great, but there was no place to store our brought toiletries while showering. A bit pricey, but overall a good experience.

Maui Sunset is a great overall location! Great condos, beach and amenities! It is very laid back and quiet! Very easy to get to from everywhere on the island! Perfect place for a laid back Maui vacation!
