This condo is perfect for the fishing couple! Just steps away from the beach, we were able to fish anytime we wanted.
I planned this solo vacation back in November. Such beautiful weather for the entire week! This property has a well-equipped full kitchen, comfortable living room seating, and a great little walk-out patio where one can eat breakfast in relative seclusion
We loved that the ocean was right there next to our condo. My husband and I had a great time, very relaxing and quiet. My only issue was three items 1: only hot water came out of the kitchen sink. 2: T.V. Did not work in the bedroom. 3: front door with access code did not work most of the time, we ended up using slider door. Other than that we loved the location and it was very convenient to walk around. We would for sure stay there again. I would not recommend with kids.
Great location, and perfect for watching whales. Centrally located to all activities in West Maui and beyond ( road to Hana).
Room was clean and comfortable, however it did not offer a ocean view, could hear the ocean crashing on the shore.
My husband and I had a great week in apartment 703! Bree was easy to communicate with. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well cared for. We felt very safe. It is walking distance to multiple delicious coffee shops which we enjoyed during our stay. The apartment remained cool throughout the days and nights because it is shaded by lots of greenery on both sides. There is an air conditioning unit in the living room but we never touched it (we stayed in early March).
My only caution to future renters is to be sure to understand that the property itself is not on the sand. Yes, it has stunning views of the water, but the grass lawn leads to a sea wall. There are steps nearby to walk down to the sand but there are rocks and depending on where the tide is, this can be treacherous. The good news is that Honokowai park is just a few minutes walk away, which has a spacious and clean beach.
We would definitely stay here again should our travels bring us back to Maui, which I'm certainly hoping they do!
Our family love to spent our vacation in this place pretty much. And that was not the first time we rented that property.
Everything is great as usual, nothing interrupted us from relaxing.
Convenient place, not crowded, walk access to everything we need.
Clean property, great location close to the ocean (30 steps), convenient neighborhood, close to Fish Market, Farmers market, ABC store, washer/dryer in the unit is pretty much helpful.
Management is nice and helpful. Nothing to add.
There is little inconvenience because old stair to the ocean is removed, but there is a way to get to the ocean and public beach is in 3 min of walk.
The unit is adequate and close to the sea wall. The kitchen is stocked with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. As a returning renter to the Maui Sands complex, I assumed that all units enjoyed the pool, which is where I spend a large amount of my vacation day. Renter beware that there has been a disagreement within the HOA and this building is no longer allowed access. This leaves you to share the chaise lounge chairs along the sea wall in a 15' wide swatch of grass which is essentially someone's front yard. Although that end unit is owner occupied and quite friendly, you're subjected to their TV volume, choice in music and guests. I had a meltdown with the property manager who explained the pool situation was several years old and that no mention of a pool was in their listing. I still think its worthy of a mention. I expect a pool in every condo that I reserve for vacation. My bad for having assumed that this was no different, having stayed in this condo complex before.
We had the most incredible time staying at this property. You can literally hear the waves from inside the apartment. The location is private, fully stocked with anything you may need, and is right on the water. Aside from a tiny hiccup when we first arrived (we were flying in quite late and the access code didn't work, but we called and Bree picked up and fixed the issue even though it was 11:30pm!)-- we adored our time at this place and only wish it could have been longer. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Maui! Thank you from Toronto - Mahalo!
