From the moment we opened the door and saw the breathtaking ocean view, we knew we had found something special. This condo exceeded our expectations in every way. The décor is beautiful, it was very clean, and the space had a cozy, homey feel that made it so comfortable.We loved the location—perfectly tucked between Kaanapali Beach and Kapalua Beach—giving us easy access to some of Maui’s best spots while still enjoying the slower, laid-back pace of Maui Sands. It truly felt like the best of both worlds.The condo was stocked with everything we needed (and more), which made our stay easy and enjoyable. We especially loved opening the louvers to let the ocean breeze flow through while listening to the waves. Hanging out on the patio and watching sea turtles swim by was simply unforgettable.Laura, the owner, was wonderful to work with—very responsive, thoughtful, and caring. She even reached out immediately during a tsunami warning to make sure we were safe, which meant so much to us.We absolutely loved our time here and can’t wait to return to Maui again. When we do, this condo will be our first choice!
This is an absolutely awesome condo. The property has a series of 2 story condos--with ample grassy areas. This condo overlooks the ocean. You are really close to coffee, grocery store and pastries (apparently Papi's Ohana has amazing cinnamon rolls--I just couldn't justify the 1-2 hour wait in line. We opted for Pau's instead.) Easy striking distance to great beaches. The amenities in the condo were great: beach gear (including 4 chairs), snorkling gear, coolers, umbrellas, etc.) The complex has an ice machine at the pool for loading up the ice chests. The condo has a washer and dryer and was well stocked with detergent (though we had already purchased some before our arrival.) The AC works great in the bedrooms--we didn't bother in the main room. The kitchen had everything you would need--and stuff we didn't realize we needed (example pineapple corer--who knew?) There's a fresh fish market across the street (though I think Time Market was cheaper) and the barbeque at the pool was awesome. I would come back in a heartbeat. The facility appears to have been around for a while (its not one of those brand spanking new condos)--but looks can be deceiving--it has been well maintained and boy was it perfect for our family. We also rented another condo nearby at the same complex for the rest of the family.) We have stayed at multiple different locations in this area over the past 30 years and this was by far our favorite spot.
This was our second time staying in this unit. And we will be back for sure! All of the little extras make a big difference.. from the kitchen stocked up like home... to the water / beach supplies ready to use.Complex is clean. Got to watch turtles and whales from the lanai. Always sad to leave
This place was incredible. Pictures are 100% accurate and you can have breakfast on the deck and watch whales breach and turtles swim by without every leaving your chair. Very quiet enviroment. Excellent place to swim and snorkel right out front with steps from the property down to the water. Sand beach if you prefer is a block away and easy to access. Well stocked with many of the basic spices paper towels etc. All the necessary cooking equipment, quiet efficient dishwasher. Washer and dryer in unit. Closet stocked with all the beach/ ocean stuff you can imagine, masks, snorkels, flippers, boogie boards, beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach hats-etc.Beds and pillows were super comfortable and great ocean sounds to fall asleep to. Grounds of entire place were always clean and well maintained walkways.Parking was easy. This place is very close to good eating establishments. I honestly cant say enough good things about this place.

Love this condo it’s amazing
This place was fantastic. Close to great beaches and food. Amazing view. It has a washer and dryer which was a huge plus for our family stay. The condo complex has a mix of renters and permanent residents, but everyone was nice. It was quiet after 10 P.M. except for the waves, which can get loud, but never bothered our family at all. The parking was excellent. The pool was nice for when the ocean was too rough for the kids. The water access is there but it is different then beach front in the typical sense, but a block away, easy walking distance, there is a great beach for families, with a playground and very mild water (at certain times) that were perfect for little kids. We saw whales and turtles from the back patio and a great view of the island (Lanai) across the channel. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a more at home feel than you are going to get at a big name resort. I really have nothing but nice things to say about this place and will stay here again if the opportunity comes around again. Thank you for the memories!
Maui Sands 4E is absolutely stunning! The condo is clean and very well appointed. The balcony view is breathtakingly beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sea turtles swim by every morning and evening. Laura was a fantastic host! We can’t wait to visit again!
Fantastic condo! Quiet, well kept complex with friendly neighbors. Loved the area with everything we needed just steps away. The view is unbeatable with whales, turtles and dolphins passing by daily. Condo was clean and very functional with all the beach necessities provided - two Tommy Bahama beach chairs, plenty of towels, mats, coolers, toys, etc. Beds were very comfortable and we slept quite well. A/C units in all the rooms but we never needed them as we were there in March and there was plenty of cool breeze. Kitchen was great and stocked with all necessary appliances. Can’t wait to return!! Thank you for everything! We are a family of 4 and had such an amazing time in Maui! Waking up and watching the whales from the balcony and watching the sunset every night was so amazing! The beds were comfy the rooms were the perfect temperature with air conditioning and fans! We loved hearing the waves and opening all the windows to see the views! We loved being the corner unit! We felt very safe and comfortable! It has all the beach toys from 2 different size coolers, 2 chairs, snorkeling gear, and more! Along with kitchen spices and coffee and all the stuff you need, even a flat iron and hair products!! Above and beyond! Would definitely recommend and hope to come back one day! Oh and the directions to the unit were perfect and Laura was easy to communicate with! Thank you so much! Can’t say enough it was so perfect! We got delayed and stayed at the Fairmont hotel for a night but we all preferred Laura’s place over the fancy Fairmont! :) :o

You will not regret your stay here! The view is phenomenal, and it is well equipped with everything you might need, including boogie boards, snorkel gear, sand chairs, sand toys etc. etc. Unit was clean, updated, and well furnished. Host Laura was quick to respond when our flight was delayed, and arranged a late check out for us. The only comment or observation to share with someone else booking, is that because the unit is very close to the ocean, the sound of the waves is loud. While enjoyable most of the stay, our daughter had a difficult time sleeping on the sofa. The bedrooms are further away, and were quiet.
Good end unit on the water. Spacious and well located
- clean, well cared for, well stocked unit
- older complex, also well maintained (but if you are looking for something posh, this definitely isn't the Fairmont Kea Lani)
- very close to the water, beautiful view
- noisy due to surf proximity and shuttered screens at the front; bedrooms are pretty good for noise;
- living room pullout is noisy when tide and surf are up (booming waves); pullout isn't great for comfort
- neighbourhood is good for groceries, cafes; not great for direct access to nice walking or good beach access (that being said, in ten minutes walk you can be on Kaanapali)
- water access in front of condo-plex is limited due to reef and surf; beautiful though, with greens and blues in water; Molokai across the channel; occasional humpbacks and turtles
- owner/agent was helpful and responsive
