We have loved vacationing at this resort for years, and are very grateful to have the opportunity to share our Maui home. Papakea is a low density, oceanfront resort, located on 13 tropically landscaped acres, 1 1/2 miles north of Black Rock on Ka'anapali Beach. Our direct oceanfront condo, Papakea A109, is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, fully equipped corner unit with lots of natural light and split air conditioning system, cooling both the living area & bedroom. Our condo is located on the ground floor, with convenient, adjacent parking. It boasts ocean views, and opens directly onto the lush tropical lawns, just 30 steps to the ocean! It faces northwest, which allows for the morning sun, yet it stays cool throughout the day. Open the large glass sliders onto the lanai, set with a dining table and 4 chairs, to access the beach, manicured lawns with meandering Koi Ponds, fountains, oceanfront pools, spas, putting greens, shuffleboard, & gazebos. 2 lighted tennis & pickleball courts and BBQs are located on-site for your pleasure. Our condo sleeps 4 and is designed to make your vacation stay as if you were at home. The newly upgraded bedroom features natural light during the day, and black-out woven wood window coverings for nighttime privacy. The room is outfitted with a new Cal-King Mattress, whisper-quiet Split A/C unit, dresser, closet, and ceiling fan. The living area has a newly installed Split A/C unit which circulates quiet, air conditioning throughout. The living room offers a new Queen pull-out sofa bed with 7-inch foam mattress, new 55" wall-mounted flat-screen TV with upgraded cable, free WiFi, ceiling fan, dining table, 4 chairs, & breakfast bar with stools. The newly remodeled bathroom has a walk-in tiled shower, with no tub. Our fully equipped kitchen features all new stainless steel appliances including a 4-burner glass-top stove, oven, large fridge and freezer with an ice-maker, microwave, and even includes a dishwasher! We love to cook, and keep the condo stocked with all of your culinary needs including pots, pans, bake-ware, drip coffee maker, blender, toaster, and even spices! We have included a washer/dryer and a small safe for your convenience. We love the outdoors, and in the closet you will find beach chairs, umbrella, an ice chest, and golf putters to test your game on our resort greens. ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE MADE IN WRITING. Our policy allows cancellation outside a 60-day period prior to check-in, with an immediate 100% refund. CLEAN & DISINFECTED: Our condo is professionally cleaned and sanitized by trained housekeeping and maintenance staff according to CDC guidelines and recommendations. Complete systematic cleaning protocols between guests guarantee no cross-contamination. Wearing gloves and masks, they use hospital-grade, EPA approved disinfectants. All surfaces are sanitized, and all linens are processed in commercial, high-temperature washers and dryers. Only one staff member at a time who has been verified with no signs of illness, is allowed to be present in the condo. While undergoing cleaning, the windows are opened to provide maximum ventilation. After the condo has undergone cleaning and sanitizing, it is inspected by the head-housekeeper to insure all guidelines and protocols have been completed.
