Great property in a beautiful location
The place was nice but very warm in August, AC couldn't keep up with the heat in the master bedroom and living room even with the shades closed the entire trip. Overall, it was a beautiful complex, and we loved the location.
Lovely, spacious, and clean property! We enjoyed our stay, the activities nearby, and the beautiful grounds. The unit was perfectly well-equipped. Beautifully sunsets from the balcony! Truly paradise!

The property showed itself as advertised. All accommodations were met with satisfied family who stayed here. No issues with a/c or other appliances. Clean. Initial stocks provided were adequate for our needs. Views of ocean were fantastic.
My husband and our family rented this condo out for the week to celebrate our wedding on Maui with my family and his. It was the perfect size for 6 of us. The location in Maui was excellent. A short walk to the connected public beach was perfect. There is a grocery store right across the street from this condo and a small mini mart within walking distance. Everything on property and condo itself was clean and accessible and quieter than other resorts we walked by on the beach. The condo itself was modern and clean with amenities and small starter supplies of needed items. All guests were happy with their rooms. The unit was cool. I had my bridal makeup done there and the cosmetologist remarked it felt much cooler than other places in Maui as AC can be an issue places. Our king size room was definitely warmer as other noted in reviewed but we found that if we kept the doors open during the day the cooler living room air went into the bedroom. Certainly not a deterrent.We had a small issue with the fridge when we got there where the fridge was cooling but was not getting cold. I emailed and they had a nice maintenance guy come out and replace the fridge - that stayed cold! I was impressed with their responsiveness! We were even delayed a day and the property was willing and able to accommodate us a day later. Going above and beyond. Property management co was really excellent. Couldn’t say enough positive here. Definitely stay here. Everything as advertised!
Was there for a week for vacation it was a great place
Close to Times Supermarket, Food Truck City, ABC Store, and more. The grounds are immaculate. The H building has the best views of the ocean, pool, and gardens.We have stayed here twice and plan on another visit. PAPAKEA may not be available for short term rentals after July. Check it out.
The unit was clean, well furnished and comfortable. We had a lot of the kitchen basics and some beach equipment as well.
Property has great views of the ocean, pools, tennis courts, and activities for all ages. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are beach chairs and umbrellas. In addition, there is a food truck area right around the corner within easy walking distance. Lots to look forward to with this one!
We highly recommend this property for anyone who wants a beautifully appointed place to stay in a wonderful location! This listing is AS ADVERTISED! We found everything we could ever need for our vacation. Including beach towels, beach chairs, umbrella and cooler.The grounds were very well maintained and lovely. Restaurants and markets were all within walking distance or just a short drive away. We also were able to find lovely beaches and coves to snorkel in 15-20 minutes away. Whaler's Villiage is 10 minutes away with all the upscale shopping and restaurants you could ask for. Mahalo for a lovely time Epic Reality!

We had a wonderful time staying at Papakea! We were in a 3 bed, 3 bath condo with amazing ocean front views. It had all the needed amenities including beach towels, beach chairs, a cooler, snorkeling gear and washer and dryer. The condo was clean. Never heard any noise our neighbors and always had parking. It was close to other beaches, a grocery store and lots of restaurants! Would definitely stay again.
Papakea is a very down to earth, perfectly situated resort. Great communication and booking process. Perfect for families with teens. Very safe and easy to navigate. We will be back!

The ocean view from this rental was perfect for us and the grounds/pool were beautifully maintained, but it was being able to see sunsets from the water's edge that was our favorite memory here. The rooms are fairly small, though certainly big enough. The loft wouldn't work for everyone due to the steep narrow steps, but it worked for us. It helped that we all went to bed at the same time and woke nearly at the same time too as it would have been a bit noisy if not. The check in staff were wonderful and everything was clean. The only issue we had was that the air conditioning had been turned off by the previous renters (as instructed by the owner on the check out list) and the unit was SUPER hot upon our 4:00 arrival as the AC was just turned on at 4. We contacted the front desk who contacted the rental company and they responded almonst immediately and sent over a very nice maintenance person to make certain there was nothing wrong with the AC - and to alert us that it would take HOURS to cool off - and it did. Once it was cool, it was a great place. Our suggestion is to have the cleaning crew turn off the AC after each cleaning IF there are no other renters coming in - it just doesn't make sense to us to turn it completely off and then have to re-cool it as all that does is make the next guests very, very hot. Additional maintenance suggestions are to check the dryer - as it didn't dry well - and to tighten the faucet in the upstairs bathroom. Everything else was good.
We had a wonderful time in Maui. The place was very clean and as described. The place gets warm in the afternoon so it’s best open the windows and screen door after 3 pm in the summer to get those cool ocean breezes. The AC works best in the morning and evening. We had an issue with one the AC units and management company rectified ASAP.. Very happy with our stay.
My Family and I had a great week’s stay at Papakea. Had a few small plumbing hiccups, but Epic Realty addressed immediately. Kids loved the grounds, especially the putting greens and swimming pools. BBQ’s were immaculate and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. 5-stars!!
This place is nice if you are looking for a place that is less crowded and able to cook some meals. They have everything you need to cook and it’s close to resorts if you want to visit the beach. Nice place and location.
We were a family of five and this property was perfect for us. The condo was beautifully decorated and had an amazing view of the ocean. We were pleasantly surprised at the fully stocked kitchen, as well as everything we needed for trips to the beach. It is also conveniently located, with a grocery store across the street and food trucks minutes away. I would highly recommend this property. The condo was very nice, clean and adequately stocked, however the AC never really cooled it down. When we arrived in the late afternoon, the blinds were open and the AC was set to 72/74. It was VERY HOT in the condo. During our weeklong stay, the AC never seemed to cool the place down. After being out in the heat, we came inside to basically the same temperature. The two people sleeping in the loft bedroom were especially uncomfortable due to the heat up there. The whole family was sweating inside ALL the time. I understand it is a 4th floor unit, but the AC should work better than it did. The inability to cool off inside really detracted from our vacation.

This 3 BR penthouse was lovely. We appreciated the bath amenities and lots of towels. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. It was very clean overall. The only negative was a male urine smell to toilet area in 2 baths. Would recommend more thorough cleaning of lower walls in that area. I would rent here again with this improvement. Very quiet for sleeping and ac worked well in each room. The property staff were lovely, and we enjoyed the lei making activity.
Loved the property, however the upstairs loft was kind of difficult and the handrail is unsafe.
Cleaning was a 3 star and should have been better.
Great view, location and with a few minor tweaks mentioned above, I'd come back.
Great resort for families , nice amenities. Easy walk to shopping, groceries ,variety of restaurants plus a couple of nice beaches. Very clean .
