This place was just perfect. Ground level, nice property and well maintained grounds. The staff friendly and helpful. The unit exactly as listed and my host super communative. This might be my new favorite place on Maui

Wonderful condo and resort in an ideal location. The unit is outfitted well for your recreation and/or lounging needs. We stayed 4 nights but should've stayed longer!

The only negative was finding out there would be a regularly scheduled bug spray both exterior and interior. The owner assured us it was preventative. We weren’t impressed sitting outside watching people in suits spray chemicals by where we were sitting, and that they advised us to clear out towels etc from
Our unit. Lisa was awesome and cancelled the indoor spray, but had we not said anything she wouldn’t have known.
Lisa was super helpful and responsive for everything! The property was very clean and had everything we needed. Will absolutely stay here again.
We had a lovely relaxing stay, plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from with an ABC convenience store 2min walk away (ask reception for directions) for topping up supplies... hiring a car is a must!!! will be back :)
Incredible stay. The resort is well maintained, access to ocean was easy, room was ground floor which was a huge benefit and pool was steps away. Full kitchen with all amenities we wanted. Already recommending this stay to others. Great central location to Kaanapali, Napili, and Kapalua as well. Have no complaints. Would stay again!
My wife and I spent our honeymoon here and were overly happy with the whole experience. The room was perfect for us two, providing everything we needed and felt very cozy.
Being on the ground floor was a game changer as you just walk out the porch door and you're a few short steps from the gated pool, hot tub, and beach. We saw turtles by the seawall daily, and enjoyed watching the sunset from there each night. The location itself was great to go out and explore Maui and the staff were so friendly. It was always quiet and peaceful.
I will be recommending this place to everyone.
Our 12th stay at Papakea, so we have stayed in many of the units. There is a MaiTi party at the Lanai pool on Thursdays at 4 hosted by the staff. The unit was nicely equipped. Sofa should be at the foot of the bed and TV on the sofa wall.
Nice place to stay, near foodtrucks and some restaurant. You have everyting to go to the beach!! Our only negative was the heavy sound of the AC.

This studio was perfect for our visit to Maui. It is spacious and bright and has everything you need for your time in Maui. The resort is well-kept and has its own little beach and a nice grassy area to watch the sunset. The studio has a lovely lanai, the bed was comfy, and it is a great home base for touring the island. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We had a great time here. The location is great for all sorts of local activities (beaches, shopping), there are great resources nearby (food trucks, groceries, health food store, restaurants). The resources on the grounds are also great - big lovely hot tub, great pool, and some fun games to play on site.
The space was just what we needed for three of us, two adults and one child. My only suggestion would be to add perhaps two additional chairs for outside so that we can all sit down together, both eating locations had just two chairs.
We had a small issue on arrival with the plumbing and Lisa was unbelievably fast to respond and get everything taken care of! Thanks so much Lisa!!

We are all about playing hard, eating well and returning to our rental for a safe place to recharge ourselves. Hawai'i never gets old even after 25 yrs...
Great location to food, groceries and shopping. Wish we had more time and better weather. We’d definitely stay here again!!
This was exactly what we needed. It was very clean. The beach chairs, umbrellas, snorkel, cooler, and beach towels came in very handy. It's within walking distance to a real grocery store, restaurants, and food trucks. There's a huge hot tub that always had plenty of room. There are nice views of the sunset, although not from the room, since it has a courtyard view. Check-in was easy. It's not too far from the parking. I'd stay here again.
The room faces the yard with a fountain which is extremely noisy at night. The AC is also too noisy, so I could barely sleep. The welcome breakfast was very poor, but it’s on the hotel, not the owner.
The owner put all you need for the beach: towels, beach chairs, snorkeling equipment, etc., which was very convenient.
