It was our first trip to Maui and it was great! This location… by far is best to see the turtles in the ocean and swim with them! Great experience and we will be coming back. I’m already trying to get the same room for next year!
We loved our stay here, the property was breathtaking! The property was very well taken care of with very kind staff. We can’t wait to come back again!
Floors were filthy, black. Need professional insect sprayer for there was a lot of bugs. Fan did not work. Burners on stove do not fit properly. Lastly, need new mattress. Other than that, we had a wonderful time.
Perfect location to relax and sit by the beach. Close to all the things you need within walking distance
Great ground-floor apartment. Very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed using the complimentary beach chairs, towels, and cooler. The location was good, even though the beach wasn't accessible this time of year there was one within walking distance and within a 5-10 min drive in either direction there are a lot of other amazing beaches. Communication with the company was prompt and reliable! Would definitely recommend staying here!
We really enjoyed our stay, first floor location made everything easy, from bringing in groceries to heading to the beach/pool/bbq. The only thing that the suite could use is a couple of hooks on the bathroom door to hang towels and bathing suits as there is only one small towel bar (other than hand towels by the sink)
The property is ok. A bit dated. There was construction going on at the hotel during the day and it was loud.
It was nice to have the kitchenette. My recommendations are to provide cleaning cloths and tea towels. I did contact the property manager and they were very helpful and brought some the next day.
It would be nice to have paper towel and toilet paper enough for my stay. However I did notice in the write up that these items are provided only to get people started.
It was beachfront… and a sandy beach close by. We saw off the beach and saw lots of fish and sea turtles. The highlight.
The place was a bit dirty as an example the washing machine … between washer and wall there was lots of thick dust. Also the dishes I washed before I used and I cleaned out the cabinets as there were crumbs in them.
Loved the location not to far from anything.

Great room to begin our adventure. First floor, short walk around the building to pool. Watched whales from the pool. Great stay.
Place is convenient to most hotels and restaurants. TV is impossible to operate. Can't get the networks. Ask for instructions. Wonderful staff. No check in. Lots of luggage trolleys. Very few disabled spots. Four for 200 plus rooms. Great travel planners in the lobby. Be careful with Outrigger Hotels. Quality varies from resort to dog kennel. Ours was in between

This was my second time in three years to stay at the Royal Kahana. The location is terrific for staying on the west side. The view from the property is spectacular and its on the water. I look forward to staying there on my next visit to the island. Mahalo Maui
