Beautiful property, especially like the landscaping!
Great location, overall property was well maintained, the unit was very good, though several areas were overlooked in cleaning. I feel that the $165 cleaning fee was really high, and there is no need for a $17/day resort fee. Also note that the “tub” is not really suitable for any adult to use as a bathtub, as it is the length of a shower stall only. We did really enjoy our stay and liked the unit overall.

We enjoyed the location of Papakea as it was close to a supermarket, food trucks, an ABC store, and central to locations. The condo had all the necessary amenities. Only complaint is the bedroom mattresses was too soft for our liking. Kids enjoyed the pool. The property has older population but they didn’t seem to mind our energetic kids. We’d stay here again.

We arrived alittle early before check in and because we do have a one year old son we had milk and groceries and I was worried about it going bad. So I called the property manager and he picked up right away and let us in to put our groceries in the fridge even though our room wasn't ready yet. He really worked with us and understood and it totally made us feel comfortable and ready for our vacation. The room was great the view was great and the property was amazing definitely can't go wrong here.

While the mattress is good, the plastic mattress cover is funky - noisy, hot and sweaty; the bed pillows are very old.

We loved staying at Papakea Resort with our family. There’s a great view from the balcony and the location is great.
Property nice and location and amenities great. Checked in an hour after allowed and brought all luggage to 3rd floor room. Cleaners had only just arrived. Stacked luggage on sofa and sat by pool in winter clothes for another hour. Don’t think the floor got mopped as needed to wear socks to keep feet from turning black. Clean towels hung in bathroom were damp. Placemats in kitchen drawer were all dirty.

Easy, perfect location to relax in Maui. Have been to this property location five times and don’t think we would even try another place.
This property was located conveniently to shopping and other resorts...and the elevator. The grounds are immaculately maintained with 2 pools and 2 hot tubs. Very nice garden and ocean views. The stackable washer/dryer are new and worked beautifully. Ice trays or cork screws were not provided. We tried to lubricate the sliding glass doors as they were hard to open; the kitchen cabinet lamination was peeling; could not find any dishcloths; were provided only 3 bath towels (used one of them for a bath mat) for 2 weeks; the pillows need replacing.

The accommodation was exactly as shown. The unit had everything we needed and the property and amenities were well maintained. We used the pool and BBQs many times. The lanai was perfect for morning coffee and evening meals and the view was beautiful. We enjoyed watching the sunsets from the break-wall and took many long walks along the boardwalk which starts nearby. The property is close to several beautiful beaches and a lot of restaurants..
Awesome views from balcony. The place had extra beach equipment to use which helped a ton and we even left our beach mats behind for future use for others. Had a few concerns and reached out to property owner. He was very prompt to help me out. Had a great stay. Beds were very comfortable.
The condo itself and the property are great. Grounds are meticulously maintained and the unit is well kept. Sofa bed is uncomfortable, but they usually are. Otherwise all was good. Great place to stay.
