Only problem was no AC or ventilation in bedrooms. Had to leave BR door open to get AC from the living room which meant late sleepers had to hear early risers.
I have stayed in Papakea Resort twice now and it’s honestly the best. The grounds are well maintained, the units we’ve chosen are beautiful, the location is amazing for families, it’s quiet but just enough to keep you busy, everything you’ll need is basically a walk or run away and your favorites are a 10 minute drive. Whoever is putting off their trip due to the fires that occurred last year- you can visit the island without disruption. Just be respectful to the locals as it is still in the phases of the clean up process. Aside from that Maui is still my favorite place to visit when we can go and if you’re looking for a cozy place to call home for your stay choose this resort.
Papakea is a special place to our family and we've stayed in many units over 20+ years. This is the best groundfloor unit by far. The set-up is fantastic with two primary bedroom set-ups and plenty of comfy pull out couch sleeping space for the kiddos. The proximity to the pool, shuffleboard, beach stairs and seawall is perfect. We will be back! Thanks for sharing your home with us!
This condo is spacious, clean, and convenient. It's oceanfront location, and close proximity to the pool is perfect, and without all the noise that larger hotels come with. It was equipped with everything we needed-beautiful full kitchen, beach chairs, coolers, umbrellas, tennis rackets, separate bar area with blender, two king size beds and two full bathrooms. The living space is huge, with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. There are 2 lanai areas, with two large sliding doors. It is essentially two units made into one by removing a wall. It was perfect for our family of 4, and when our friends stayed for a few nights, it was spackious enough for all 8 of us! We enjoyed lounging on the lawn right in front of the condo, and you cannot beat the sunset view from this place! We had several people walk by asking for the rental information since it is a beautiful ground floor unit, and there is not another one like it in the complex. We can't wait for our next visit here!

Loved your place. Some suggestions for improved experience. Coolers were great but some ice packs would have helped. The frying pans need to be replaced. Knifes needs sharpening or replaced.
The unit was beautiful and clean. The views are just amazing.

everything and more you could want from a condo in Maui.. just thought one thing i should point out is there is no ice maker and was only 1 ice tray when we stayed there.. if your group is adults who enjoy the occasional cocktail you need to buy ice but other than that no compalints
