Papakea L107 is a charming ground-floor 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo that can accommodate up to 4 guests with a split air conditioning system to keep you cool and comfortable. Upon entering this open-concept space, you'll be greeted by a serene ambiance that invites you to relax and unwind. One of the most remarkable features of Papakea L107 is the breathtaking direct oceanfront views you'll enjoy from your lanai. The fully equipped kitchen boasts updated appliances, allowing you to prepare delicious meals. So, whether you're a culinary enthusiast or prefer simple preparations, this kitchen is ready to accommodate your needs. The spacious bathroom offers a luxurious walk-in shower, providing a refreshing start or a soothing end to your day in paradise. The modern design and ample space ensure your comfort and convenience. In the tranquil bedroom, a California king-size bed welcomes you to a restful night's sleep. Drift off to the gentle sound of ocean waves and wake up rejuvenated, ready for another day of exploration and adventure on Maui. The living room features a queen-size sofa bed for additional guests.
*** Notice of Property Plumbing Project:
- Papakea Resort is performing a property-wide extensive plumbing project and you may hear some noise during this time. Work in this unit will begin April 7th, 2026, with an estimated completion projected on or around May 18th, 2026.
- Standard work hours for this project will be from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday unless authorized for weekend work.
- Contractors will be present on the property to begin quieter preparatory tasks as early as 7:00 AM.
- To minimize possible disruption, louder tasks will not start before 10:00 AM.
- Dates are subject to change. Not all units will be affected at the same time.
- We have been notified that the project is pending completion around June 2026. We have decreased rates during these dates to compensate for any inconvenience. ***
Papakea Resort offers lush tropical landscaping, koi lagoon ponds, oceanfront saltwater pools, hot tubs, shuffleboards, golf greens, pickleball, and tennis courts! It is located just North of the famous Ka'anapali Beach. Walk to nearby local shops, cafes, restaurants, and grocery stores. It is a quick drive to Whalers Village and many of Maui's top beaches like Kaanapali, Napili Bay, and Kapalua Bay.
Effective July 1, 2025: There will no longer be a Resort Fee, and parking for the first vehicle will be free.
Current Resort Fee Details (until June 30, 2025): The Papakea Resort Fee is $25 per day and includes one parking permit. Any additional vehicles will incur an extra charge of $5 per day. This fee is collected by the Resort's Front Desk staff upon arrival and is not managed by My Perfect Stays.
Standard Cancellation Policy:
Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund.
Bookings canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund.

Papakea is our go to when planning our vacations. L-107 was the perfect location, the views are incredible and condo was clean and well stocked!

Look no further! If you want to be steps from the Ocean everyday in a beautiful setting this is for you. We saw humpback whales every day from our living room. Walking distance to stores, restaurants, beaches.

This was our 10 year anniversary celebration, and the location did not disappoint! It was everything we had hoped for and more! Our condo opened right onto the ocean, and the location for our excursions could not have been more perfect! We highly recommend for any couple!

This was our second time in L107 and had previously stayed in a unit two doors down. We love the Papa Kea and it's only gotten better. The check-in process had been slightly cumbersome in the past but it's dialed in now, absolute piece of cake. All communication was quick, efficient, and accurate. The unit has had some updates (e.g. sliding doors) is in great shape. Great vacation! Mahalo!

The pros: Papakea is a very well maintained resort with excellent amenities usually only available in higher end resorts. In this unit, the kitchen and bathroom have been updated with granite, new appliances and a nicely done glass shower. The location couldn't be better. The Lanai is 50 feet from the water. There was plenty of whale action and beautiful grounds to enjoy. Gas tiki torches light up the resort at night giving off a magical vibe.
We called the management company on Super Bowl Sunday to report on three items needing attention. To our surprise, a handy man arrived before kickoff and had 2 of 3 fixed in about an hour. The unfixable was the dishwasher soap compartment which is missing a spring and hence, doesn't open. The part is currently unavailabe. Great service on the property!
The cons: I booked and paid in full, then submitted questions through the booking site. I never heard back. I finally called VRBO, to be informed the property has another level of management, Maui Dreams Come True. I called them twice before they called me back. The woman who called me said VRBO doesn't forward messages since Expedia bought them. She answered all my questions but I would prefer service recovery over blame shifting.
Summary: I wouldn't hesitate to rent this unit in this resort again. However, I wish I had known about the horrible communication style and existence of the intermediary management company.

The oceanfront location was such a treat as we were able to eat our breakfast on the lanai and have a front row seat to the whale show right in front of us. We would wind down the day with cocktails on the lanai while watching the sunset. We were able to snap many gorgeous pictures. The condo was very comfortable and tastefully updated, comfy bed and well stocked kitchen. The Papakea Resort is beautifully landscaped, with lots of amenities and 2 heated pools. We will be back!

My only issue with they property was there was a rodent in the condo. The property manager was very good about trying to remedy the situation but to no avail. Was unable to feel very good about using kitchen. The condo was very nice and location was awesome.

My wife and I could not have enjoyed our stay any more than we did! The place was exactly as advertised, perfectly maintained and a beautiful property/setting. Would definitely recommend to everyone and will be looking to stay there again on our next trip!

Awesome view! We did not want to leave the lanai sunsets are amazing. Nice updated kitchen and living room furniture. Can’t wait to come back.
