Our family rented multiple units at Menehune for our 40th Anniversary. We mainly cooked at ours so it was great that it was so well stocked, we weren’t missing anything. Any problems we had were addressed quickly by management. It’s a great location with beach access and the kids loved seeing so many turtles.
The condo was exactly as pictures and very updated. The view off the balcony was nice, but is hot if the A/C is on inside. The beds were very comfortable and it was nice having a double and twin in the 2nd bedroom for my adult boys. There were beach chairs, coolers, beach towels etc. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The location is Centrally located so easy to get to Kaanapali (40 mins), Wailea (10 mins), Airport & Grocery shopping area like Walmart/Target/Costco (10-15 mins). The swimming area in front of the condo has a lava rock breaker so the water is warm and shallow. We saw 6 sea turtles on the rocks one day and on the beach. We would stay here again. Thank you!!
We enjoyed the communication and easy directions for the check in and check out. Great communication on information for the property. Location is great right on the beach. Property has very good spots for bbqing, watching sunset, enjoying pool, the beach and shuffle board. The unit was clean and comes with everything needed to enjoy days in Maui. Will be back!
We stayed 9 days in this Condo. It is a comfortable, tastefully decorated, upgraded unit, The kitchen is well stocked, and there are beach chairs, towels and an umbrella. It is a great central location for Maui, making it easy to get to all attractions on the island. It has a great view of the ocean and is easy to walk along the beach. While we were there, the ocean area in front of the property was only used for wading, but there were often people in the water relaxing and enjoying it. We have one warning. It is right on S. Kihei Road. One bedroom faces the ocean and the other faces the parking lot and road. There is some traffic noise. Except for early morning and evening, we used the air conditioning instead of open windows while we were there. The traffic noise did not bother our sleep or time together in the condo.
This condo had everything we needed right down to spices. The beds were very comfortable. Beach chairs, towels and coolers were definitely a plus.
Owner was very responsive with our questions as was the management company.
The only downside was not being able to sit on the deck when the A/C was running as it was too hot due to the condenser unit being located on the deck.
We would definitely recommend this unit for your vacation stay.
The condo was great. More than enough room for a family of 5. Comfy beds with plenty of pillows. There was a lot of seating both inside the condo and outside. The view was beautiful and the grounds were very well taken care of. The air conditioning was very nice to have. There are coolers, beach chairs, and beach towels to use during your visit. The kitchen comes with many amenities. We would definitely stay here again.
We so enjoyed our vacation in Maui and the condo was everything we wanted. It was well equipped and comfortable and all correspondence with the owners was timely. We fell in love with Maui and the location of this condo was amazing. We were able to have this place as our base and explore the island. The place was lovely and comfortable and we enjoyed having the pool and beach right there. I would definitely recommend this condo and hope to come back. We stayed for 12 days and everything was just as described EXCEPT the pool. We specifically selected the condo because it had a solar heated pool and beach right there. Our 3 kids (ages 3-8) could not have been more excited except the pool was freezing and unusable - literally ice cold. When checking in with the management office we were informed the pool heater had been broken for 6+ months and they had to ETA on when it might be fixed. This was very disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we selected the condo. I messaged Wade but didn’t receive a response. I do believe we should have been notified about the pool since “solar heated” was included on the listing. We made the most of it but that was a major let down considering the length of our stay.
Our condo had everything we needed and a beautiful view! Our family of 11 (two other condos rented) was able to get together for Thanksgiving and enjoy special family time! We enjoyed our time in Kihei very much! We would love to come back!
The property is beautiful. The condo has great views and is decorated beautifully. The pictures on vrbo do not do this place justice. It is much more beautiful in person. I HIGHLY recommend a stay here
