Location was great but this condo was dirty. Floors were dirty and horizontal surfaces were dusty, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a few months. Floors had several dirt spots and crumbs which we ended up vacuuming on our own since there was a vacuum in the closet. After texting pictures of the dirty floor, Vacasa customer service promptly provided a mop for us to mop the floors ourselves.It really didn’t look like this condo had been cleaned between us and the last guests. Also, the washing machine did not work out entire stay. Shanna from Vacasa scheduled a repair company to come out 1 week after we arrived but they never showed before we checked out. Then there was a few small things we noticed. The bedroom mattress is worn and sinks in the middle making sleeping on either edge uncomfortable. Also, one of the two recliners in the front room is broken and does not recline.
Set your expectations and you won't be disappointed. The location is terrific -can't beat the "cross the street" locale. There is no real ocean view-- you will need to stand to the very left of the balcony and see a bit of blue-this is because the vegetation on the right isn't trimmed properly to allow a view AND the balcony simply does not face the ocean. The lanai closet is very well organized and there was plenty in there to borrow ! (chairs, bamboo mats, coolers, snorkel mask, boogie boards, a pool noodle). The slider is old and the lock is not secure-make sure to always use the extra steel bolt included on the siding. The curtains are difficult to close so be careful not to break. Directions needed for TV!
There is no a/c in the living room area but there is a small functional unit in the bedroom. We covered the couch with beach towels b/c it needs to be cleaned badly. The kitchen is well stocked w/utensils and pots/pans- don't expect much in the way of anything extra (you'll get one scoop of laundry detergent, 3 dishwasher pods, one small bar of soap). The bedroom is large- the mattress is in dire need of replacement which explains the soft mattress topper. The sheets are microfiber. At 9:54 AM, a soft knock at the door came from the housecleaner who asked when we would be leaving. Check-out is 10AM. We were just finishing up and left at 9:57 AM All in all, this is a clean, safe place to stay located in a prime location but is in dire need of TLC throughout.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this property. We didn't see any bugs. It is in a great location. The unit was well equiped and had A/C and fans. Communication with the host/manager was good and check in was easy. Vacasa had a very nice gift bag loaded with good things to greet us upon our arrival. The complex was very nice. The unit was mostly clean. The older remodel wasn't completely finished. It would be nice if the old outlets, light switches and doorknobs were replaced. Only two slots in the four slice toaster worked. We couldn't get the DVD player to work.
Was a great location and condo was great. Bathroom could use an upgrade but it was a nice place and owner was great to communicate with. We love Maui thanks
We like our condo. Especially its location. There was everything for comfortable stay. Apartment is about 25 years old but well kept. The only warning if you are staying longer then 4 days you need extra soap, shampoo and toilet paper. Dishwasher is working but not properly and needs the replacement (my husband is appliance technician and he said that). However, overall we like our stay and we certainly would recommend this condo and this property management company to our friends. Mahalo.
My needs were small, just a little R & R, but the unit had everything I needed. It was clean and well furnished even had a great book for me!

Loved having beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella and a fully functional kitchen (our leftovers never went to waste!). It was also wonderful to have a washer and dryer. The lanai was perfect and the view was beautiful. The perfect home away from home!
Lovely spacious condo in a great location. Our only issue - one of the tv remote controls is missing and the other remote is not compatible, and the cable remote to the tv that did have a tv remote had dead batteries (the other cable remote appeared to not work). We reached out to the property manager to at least get new batteries and then we agreed we'd work on programming the only remote to work on both tvs. Without all remotes operational we had to turn on and adjust the volume manually using the buttons around the back of the tv. We never heard back from the property manager after that conversation and never received batteries. It wasn't the end of the world, but would have been convenient since we were in town over the holidays during a series of storms, and we would have liked to have maybe watched some holiday movies with the kids while waiting for the storms to pass without having to get up to adjust the volume every time a commercial came on. We also would have liked to have the ability to watch tv in the master bedroom at night once the kids were asleep in the living room but operating the tv manually in that room was a huge hassle.
We enjoyed our stay we would have stayed longer had it not been previously rented out for the final weekend of October. Our communications with Tim were very helpful and he was quick to respond. Mahalo!
