Everything on website was perfect down to a T so the actual location has even more amenities that are told and the location does not compare to what the website says. It is beyond beautiful 100% would recommend

I wish I'd paid more attention to reviews about the uncomfortable beds, which have been posted for several years now. Not being able to sleep while on a bucket list, expensive vacation due to the misery of the bed just really isn't acceptable. You cave into the middle and pillows are like concrete. Our teenage son slept on the pull out couch bed and he said the bars were digging into his back all night. There is also a loud buzzing noise that lasts about 5 seconds and goes on and off every minute or so all night. We couldn't figure out the source-it's not the a/c. We've also become accustomed to, in recent years, short-stay rental properties coming with some toiletries. This condo didn't even have hand soap in the bathrooms-there was one miniscule wrapped soap in the entire property. After a very long day of travel to not even be able to wash your hands is not cool, in my opinion.Beach towels were those tiny microfiber type that don't absorb any water. We ended up buying some beach towels at the local Foodland. The condo complex has some great common area BBQs/seating that made for a great New Years Eve BBQ with other family members also staying at the complex. Walking across the street for sunset is a great activity.

Beautiful property across the street from the beach. This property could use a kitchen update. And some new beach chairs. Otherwise it worked very well for our family. Nice staff, nice pool and grills. We would return.

Very beautiful. Great style, art work, view and well taken care of. Furniture is somewhat worn out. Although beautiful, dining chairs not comfortable. Thank you for your consideration during our extended stay. We felt at home.

Dan’s condo is the perfect place to stay in Kihei. The unit is very comfortable and has everything you’ll need. The air conditioning works perfect although you only need to use it for a very short time during the day, the ocean breezes combined with the ceiling fans make the unit very comfortable. All the beds are comfortable, including the sofa bed, which has a really good memory foam. The location is excellent being across the street from the beach and we would walk to see the sunset every evening. The swimming pool area is very nice never too crowded and the water is comfortable. There are several restaurants, shops and a small market within walking distance. The town of Canche still has that small town Hawaiian vibe. The local supermarket, Foodland has the best poke on the island , it was very popular with my children. I can’t find anything negative to say about the rental. The TVs work fine and gave plenty of channels. There are folding chairs, the type that you can carry like a backpack, there is also some sand toys for the kids. One thing I must note is the code they gave you for the digital lock doesn’t work until the check in time, so if you get to Maui early, I would recommend stopping at Costco to buy groceries to kill some time and grabbing something to eat. This is a first class rental and we enjoyed our 10 night stay very much.

Otherwise apartment could do little updating. We had our friend family staying next building for same price, same space with better updated living room and kitchen.

While the location was excellent and the grounds beautiful. I felt the owner should be upgrading their beds and linens. We had an incident with a half cleaned oven full of oven cleaner for our first night which wasn’t great. They should also check their beach umbrellas to make sure they are functional, 2 were broken. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back to Maui.

Great location. The unit itself was just okay. Master bath toilet paper holder was broken. Master bath shower adjuster was broken. Master bedroom bed was an old mattress with a foam top that made you fall to the middle of the bed. 5 beach towels were provided for 6 people.

Very pleased with the cleanliness but would have liked some coffee as was stated in the ad. Not any extra paper towels either. Other that that it was great and the air was definitely one of the greatest assets to the condo and the washer/dryer were an added bonus😉
