The view was spectacular of the ocean, the grounds, the fountains, and the pool. Saw everything from the balcony. Staff was wonderful. The unit was in a great location. The living room was nice and comfortable. The kitchen stocked with accessories, but the silverware was undesirable. The bed was very comfortable but the mattress cover is too large and the sheets/blankets kept shifting all night. The major issue with that unit is the bedroom window had previously been damaged on the bottom section. The owners/maintenance had placed a piece of wood in the window so nothing could access the unit through that large section. The wood piece does not cover the entire damaged/broken area, so you hear everything outside through the window and the wind blows through the uncovered space. Approximately 2 inches x 24 inches open space. That issue should be repaired. We have stayed at Kamaole Sands 3 times now, and we will stay there again. Mahalo

Kamaole Sands is a perfect family-oriented resort. Location is great and it is clean, quiet, with great amenities. This condo has a wonderful lanai and great ocean view. It is clean, but could benefit from some upgrades.

The kitchen, living room/dining area and lanai were all excellent. The lanai was a bit small though. Because of the usual fresh breeze we never had to use the AC during the day.BUT:The bedroom was small, cramped and stuffy. The window AC had been removed and the wholly inadequate "solution" to the stuffiness and lack of air flow was a cheap box floor fan.We were unable to sleep in the bedroom and had to make use of the pullout couch. This made our stay a less than enjoyable night time experience. The ceiling fan above the pullout made an annoying noise and wasn't fixed, although I asked for it to be looked at.Also, one day the toilet tank overflowed. A plumber came out and remedied that situation.I booked at the Kamaole Sands this year because I enjoyed my stay in 2020 on the 4th floor 2 BR condo. The master bedroom was upstairs, airy and perfect plenty of airflow, the ceiling fan was perfect.Spend a little more, book the two bedroom and put your mother-in-law in the downstairs BR.

The condo that we occupied for 8 nights in Maui had the most amazing view of both the ocean and the sunrises over the Haleakalā volcano.If there is one suggestions that I could make for this condo, it would be to provide additional beach and bath towels, as well as beach chairs. Unit is rated for 4 persons and there are only two each of the above available for use.
Will not be renting again from them

Vacation is awesome Maui is always been beautiful, unfortunately the condo was not kept up , broken tiles broken microwave broken lamps ,old refrigerator either stuff got warm or frozen , the worst part was the check in and the poor customer service at the “Maui condo agency”The Kameole sands is gorgeous and we have stayed that complex 6 times love it , I would never again book through a 3rd party like Maui condo I would book directly with kameole sands.

Kamaole Sands is a nice resort with beautiful grounds and centrally located. We could walk to 3 beaches, restaurants and shops. The condo was adequately furnished and the view was beautiful. Would stay here again.

I knew the general property from previous trips. This unit was tidy and pleasant. I liked having a/c too.
Quick walk to the water. And nice view.
I’d return in the future.
